Mr. Contesta: -walks up to the recursive sculpture- Hmm...excellent effort, though 81 recursions was perhaps a bit much....

Mr. Sukizo: Remarkable!

Nurse Joy: I think it's a decent start to the judging!

-the judges move on-

Awww, I liked that one.

Ashley shrugs. "It was nice, and the detail was good. I hope Katie's friend and his Pokemon do well..."

When the Hydregion flew into the ring Usa and Rex lapsed their hands together and jumped up and down squealing.

"We're going to be riiich~" The pair giggled.

"Oy!" Genseki roared at their pre-celebration. Rex and Usa leaned their cheeks together in a faux-submissive manner.

"Hai~" They agreed to behave. Gen jumped from the ring and raised his fist into the air. After a moment so did the rest of the uniformed individuals as machines began to whir. A platform raised from beneath two large doors which had been pulled open by a pair of Machamp.

A large man, with thin, beautiful features sat in a seat wearing a white-fur coat, the collar extra fuzzy and fabuloso. White hair was perfectly slicked back. The floor length cloak covered his form in rich decadence. To his right sat Jasmine, and to his left a white pokemon curled up, sound asleep. Between his fingers he held a cigar, unlit. The individual raised his hand and pointed out a large talon-shaped ring that could easily be used as a weapon.

"What a fine day for a battle..." The crowd gave a cheer. "What an even better day to gamble and ensure prosperity of strength and loyalty." Raucous roars flowed through the crowds. "Kemonomimi, adventure to the sun, battle on!"

Above the ring a large LCD screen began to blink.

FIGHT!

The massive black-skinned Steelix roared out and slammed his tail into the ground. The second the signal was given Genseki pointed out.

"Go, Ebony, Dragon Pulse!"

Ebony lowered his head and opened his mouth. Energy began to fill the Steelix as the heat of energy and rage began to surround his being. The Steelix let out a fierce shriek and released the Dragon Pulse.

Forte? Yeah, his sculpture looked cool.

-the judges reach Abigail's sculpture-

Mr. Contesta: Something about it speaks to me!

Mr. Sukizo: Well, you have a Yachechomp... Remarkable!

Nurse Joy: Don't break character! Ooh, excellent!

-they move on-

Cinnabar Island Warehouse

-Charybdis lets out a loud roar as the Dragon Pulse connects with her; however, she manages to remain flying-

Charybdis: <You'll pay for that, worm!>

-she then spits out flames from all three heads, and converges them into a single stream focused on the Steelix-

On a Bluff Overlooking Route 37

-A figure presently unseen to Luke is observing him along with his two companions-

<???: "So there you are... Is that Lake? I almost didn't recognize him with those markings from master. Heh, I always thought that they'd look on him! Hmm... Who's the new guy with you?">

-Smirking and assuming a crouching position-

<Suicune: "Well... There's always one way to find out.">

-And bolts across the Route directly in front of Luke and company, filling their field of vision immediately in front of them with an indistinct, but soothing-feeling bluish, non-hedgehog blur-

Nurse Joy: Does it fly?

-the other judges stare blankly at her-

Nurse Joy: ...Sorry.

Yeah, I remember. I didn't really interact with them much, as I wasn't sure what to say or do. Why do you bring this up? Do you think they might know something?

Phyco had NOT been expecting to be suddenly rushed past by a blue blur moving at an insane speed. Obviously, his first reaction was a fear response.

Phyco — <AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!! WHATWASTHAT?!KEEPITWAY!!!>

The Kingdra furiously "Swims" backwards through the air, a-bit at not a very brisk pace, being a seahorse and all.

Luke and Lake, however, although slightly started, were much more calmer about things.

"...Suicune?"

Lake — <Heh. Still the same as ever.>

Route 208

-Amanita is still walking to Hearthome- I think we're almost there.

-the judges come to Pianis's sculpture-

Mr. Contesta: An ice dragon...in ice!

Mr. Sukizo: Remarkably remarkable!

Nurse Joy: Fantastic!

Pianis: We aimed to get it as close to actual size as possible. Of course, no one I've known has ever seen Kyurem, so there might be some errors here.

Nurse Joy: ...What?

Mr. Contesta: What, you thought I was always a contest judge? Anyway, this statue is almost a perfect replica!

Well, they're in possession of an artifact of Dialga's, and as a result time around the area is kind of...distorted.

Garchomp: <I feel so confused thinking about them right now...>

Amanita: -enters- Okay...so do we look for the Tears now?

Oh? Is that so?

Route 37

-The Route goes into an eerie calm for a few seconds-

<Suicune: "Alright, that's long enough.">

-And the majestic blue form of a certain Gerbil water herald leaps out of a bush-

<Suicune: "I have no idea why that keeps happening, but I love it!">

-And comes to rest before the group, letting out a roar-

<Suicune: "Heh heh... I was wondering when you two were going to be coming back! Also, who's the screamy one? I didn't remember you having a Kingdra teammate last time.">

-is banging c gear-

Ebony lowered his head as the forceful flames lapped at his head. The ebony skin which he was aptly named for turned a deep cheery as the heat made that steel-hard skin malleable and weak. When the flames ceased Ebony shook it off. Ganseki began to laugh.

"Fools, do you think such a weak attack can defeat us!?" He threw out his hand, the other resting on his hip. "Let's show them Ebony!" He reached to his belt and placed his chin mask on, which resembled the lower jaws of a Onyx. "Smack this feral Hydreigon up, bite down!"

Ebony roared and slithered forward. He was a massive, full-grown Steelix, just shy a few feet from an adult Wailord. With a little more tha na stretch of his neck the black Steelix reached out to bite someone, but this was no regular bite.

Aiming for her wings the Steeling moved to bite down an icy-cold Ice Fang, and if contact was made his heavy head would swing down to slam the dark-pokemon into the ring.

Above kumichou watched the fight proceed.

"Who owns the Hydreigon?" He reached out with his hand, which was holding the cigar, to pat the top of the Venusuar's head. Jasmine leaned into the pat and glanced up at the kumichou.

Jasmine: (She belongs to Mezzy. Though I doubt we can change her side, we can certainly make use of her combative personality.)

Kumichou grunted and continued to pet the Venusuar. This was a pleasing thought. Well it seems Rex's group was a bit more active than he previously supposed.

-To Amanita-

We need to talk to Azelf first.

-To DS-

Yeah, I ended up going to see my own Bonemerang trial when we first met them.

Phyco, however, is far too busy trying to get away safely than fighting against the legendary Pokémon. Still swimming backwards as fast as he can, the Seahorse Pokémon ends up bumping against a tree.

Phyco — <Eep! STAY BACK! I-I'm a Dragon, a-and I'm not afraid to u-unleash my fury on you!>

The Kingdra attempts to make himself look larger, but then decides curl up instead, his eyes screwed shut as he shivers in fright.

<Please make my death quick...>

Luke and Lake both sweatdrop at Phyco's behavior.

Lake — To Suicune. <He's new, so he still hasn't gotten used to the way things work with us yet.>

The trainer shakes his head, then goes forward and pets Suicune gently.

"I haven't see you for a really long time! How've you been?"

-Charybdis falls to the ground after her wing is frozen by the Ice Fang, but she remains standing-

Charybdis: <...Will...Suffer!>

-A large wave sweeps the room, with Charybdis riding on top of it-

Amanita: Figures. Okay, can't we just fly to Lake Valor then?

-the judges come to Thresher's sculpture-

Mr. Contesta: ...What's this?

Mr. Sukizo: Not terribly remarkable....

Nurse Joy: I can't say much about it...-looks inside- ...What?

Mr. Contesta: Hmm?

-Mr. Sukizo looks into the pipe...and suddenly loses his balance, falling in- Reeeemaaaarkaaaableeeee- ow!

Nurse Joy and Mr. Contesta: O_O
