I'm sure we'll meet again. At the very least we're both on Team Aqua, I could probably find her if I needed to.

Vyvyan: Oh, I see.

Umm.. it's nice to meet you!

- Shakes Sierra's hand -

Sierra: Oh, so you're his girlfriend, huh? (looks slightly embarrased) Heh, how nice. I bet you two are really happy together. (looks over at Vyvyan) Oh, and this is Vyvyan! (thinking) Um... I can't really tell him about the armband, can I? I promised to keep it a secret...

-Gamer tries to do what Jeff just did, but fails due to being Brought Down to Normal after the universal split. Scowling, Gamer walks up and grabs a bow and a quiver full of arrows.

Meme: <Now, then. Let's begin!>

-To start, Meme uses Earthquake. Gamer jumps and grabs on to a wall braizer to avoid the attack. As he's handing on with one hand, he lets out the majority of his on hand Pokemon to battle.

-extends a hand to Vyvyan- Nice to meet you. I met Sierra a few months ago, and helped her out with her Pokemon.

Elsewhere in Fortree

Vyvyan nervously shakes Wolf's hand.

Vyvyan: Well... that was very kind of you! But i what way did you help her? :?

Just gave her some advice on how to better understand her Pokemon.

Katie: -sigh- I miss her...

Sierra: (thinking) Hmm... What do I do? I promised to keep the armband a secret, and so far it doesn't seem like Vyvyan has really noticed that I can understand Pokémon speech...

Mawile: (pops out of her pokeball, yawns and stretches) <Can't we talk about me?>

- To Sierra's Mawile -

Um... I don't think this is the time for that, little Mawile.

Fortree City

Rex and Joey made their way back into town, the two finding they had much more in common than they initially thought. Both of their initial captures were Rattata, both were from Johto, and both found that using their favorite species was a more enjoyable way to battle than by using what was popular.

Joey: The reason I talk about my Rattata so much is simple: it's because no one expects great things from a Pokemon that most trainers start with and dump. By the time you get to the Pokemon League, you're expected to have left behind your Furret and your Pidgeot and move on to better things.

He shook his head, frowning at the very thought of that.

Joey: What kind of fun would battles be if everyone just used the same handful of Pokemon, moves, and strategy all of the time? It's too easy! Being a Pokemon Trainer is about the struggle to get to the top, making choices, mistakes, and growing along the way. Sure, Rattata may not be the best Pokemon in the world, but if I stick with him, he could probably give a lot of those guys a run for their money.

He looked over at Rex, feeling a bit relieved to see that the other boy seemed to be taking his words seriously. Most people tended to take most of his words with a grain of salt. Eventually, the duo reached the Pokemon Center again, looking around for any sign of a contest.

Joey: I guess they haven't started yet. Well, that's fine. That gives me more time to train with Tailow.

He began to make his way over to the path leading to Route 119, letting out the bird Pokemon. As it roosted on his shoulder, he turned back to Rex, grinning happily at his new friend.

Joey: See you later, Rex! Maybe next time we meet we can have a battle between our first catches!

The other boy nodded and waved, Joey turning back to the route. The Tailow trilled happily, fluttering happily around his trainer's head as they made their way back into the forest. Then they were gone, leaving Rex alone in the center of the city.

Rex: Hmmm...about the struggle, huh?

He mulled that thought over as he began to stroll around, deciding to see just what Rascal and Spathi had been up to in his absence.

-I try to talk to Crewe-

Crewe? Is that you?

-Swellow uses Fly and lifts Jeff off the ground to avoid the attack, then drops him near a Smeargle for an aerial assault.-

Awww...

-Salamence hugs Katie- <Don't worry! We'll see her again soon, I'm sure. :3>

....Yeah. Let's hope so.

-All of my Pokemon erect Protect barriers to guard against the Earthquake as I do much the same as Gamer-

Now, get that Smeargle! Well, besides you Victini since these new guys are around.

Gaia: -Retaliates with an Earthquake of her own-

Forecaster: -Uses Rain Dance before using Thunder-

Nudi: -Combines a Surf with Forecaster's Thunder-

Limna: -Uses Hi Jump Kick-

Steel: -Uses Autotomize before charging with an Iron Tail-

Sirius: -Uses Return-

Tropius: -Uses Energy Ball-

Helios: -Uses Hurricane-

- A Smeargle runs up to Jadis -

Smeargle: Hey pretty. Such a nice, icy body. I'll certainly regret melting it...

Styx: Hey, you!

- The Smeargle turns, only to be hit by a Foul Play attack. He is then hit by an Ice Beam, a Flamethrower, and finally a Dynmamic Punch before falling to the ground. -

Smeargle: I predict this is going to get worse in 3...2...1...

- Umbra comes in and kicks him, sending him flying -

Smeargle: I KNEW IT!

- Hits wall, falls unconscious. -

Umbra: Wonderful work, comrades. I assume I'll have to save my powers for later.

Crewe, who's initial reaction is to "Meep!" and duck behind Effie, pokes her head out and gives Straw a half-wave.

<Uh, hi Straw. ... 'Sup?>

Effie sighs and steps to the side, gently pushing Crewe out from behind her with one foot.

"Really, Vestas, you aren't normally this shy."

Bounty scurries over and waves one claw, blowing bubbles.

<Hi! ^_^!>

-Right before any of the attacks hit Meme and his bretheren, several of them use Portect all at once, negating Tagg's attacks.

-At the arrival of Jeff, one of them is insta-K Oed by virtue of Jeff landing on it's head, breaking it's spine on the process. Some more of the Smeargle choose to retaliate with Toxic, aiming not for Jeff's Pokemon, but for Jeff himself.

Meme: <Anyone is a target, like I said. Now to deal with the green-haired brat. Myself, preferably.>

-Meme leaps out from the crowd of Smeargle and proceeds to get into a battle stance with his warhammer, using Strength to hold it up.

Mata Nui: Their Protect has to recharge, right?

Umbra: I think so...

Mata Nui: You may want to watch out...

- Others take cover as Mata Nui unleashes a massive Earthquake. -

Vyvyan: Sierra, what are you fretting about?

If it's about the fact you can Talk to Pokemon? I kinda guessed back in Dewford when you talked to Bridget, then he told me that you could Talk to Pokemon....

Somehow...
