On televisions across Hoenn there was a news flash detailing a story of organized and violent Whismur, lead by Loudred, combing over the region in search for something and harming anything that gets in their way. The report said to avoid them at all costs and do not attempt to capture them for any reason. Parisse sighed. "Well at least they're warning people. Anyone who tries to take them on are stupid.." muttered Parisse as he gave Seaspray some fish.

Route 101

-Me and my mons regroup near Oldale Town.-

"Any luck so far?"

Guardé: <No. All we have managed is to frighten most of the wild Pokémon population.>

Harriet: <We did find somemon, but it isn't Stratus.>

-Harriet gestures at Zoltan.-

"Zoltan?"

Lake: <Oh. Well, good job anyway. Wouldn't want him wandering around by himself.>

Chord: <Not wandering. Flying. There's a difference.>

Lake: <...Right.>

Woolly: <What are we going to do? I'm really starting to get worried now...>

"...Perhaps...We might need some back-up here."

Treeo: -Tilts head.- <...Back-up?>

A few minutes later, outside of the Oldale Town Pokémon Center...

Harriet: <Why didn't we think of this sooner?>

Flare: <Ssh! He needs to concentrate!>

Harriet: <Oh. Sorry.>

-A certain Lucario is using his Aura Power to see if he can sense Stratus nearby.-

Wulfric: <...> -Makes some gestures.-

Chord: <What's he saying?>

Flare: <He says that there's quite a lot of Aura about, and it'll take him some time to pinpoint Stratus specifically.>

Chord: <Oh, right.>

Guardé: <I see.> -To Woolly.- <Doesn't he ever speak?>

Woolly: <He used too, but now he just has Flare talk for him. He's shy, you see.>

Guardé: <Oh...>

Anyway, that can wait.

Nudi: -To Thog- <Do mating serenades count as poetry?>

Random Trainer: Ok, guys, Let's go!

-the mons all shout in agreement-

- the trainer keeps walking, then stops and turns around-

Random Trainer: Hey! Rio, are you coming?

-a certain Swampert wakes up from his nap-

Random Trainer: Ok, Every one's here...Now let's go.

DS and I are going to head to Oldale now, and we wanted to know if anyone wanted to come.

Velvet: <That Team Galactic scientist who was only in it for the money?> (scratches behind her ear) <Yeah, I remember him. Not sure how he was planning on gaining any profits from controlling Heatran and making Stark Mountain erupt, though. Why do you ask?>

Well, apparently someone has broken him out of jail.

Velvet: <What? Why would anyone do that?>

- Shrugs -

I'm not sure... Looker said no one knows who was responsible for breaking him out...

- Thinks for a moment -

Since Saturn is reformed, and Jupiter and Mars are no longer into evil without Cyrus, and Cyrus himself is trapped in a timeloop in the Distortion World, we can count there having been any other involvement from Team Galactic out.

Velvet: <Yeah...>

Hmm... Since Team Galactic obviously had nothing to do with it, who could possibly have broken Charon out, and why?

Velvet: <Well, look on the bright side. At least this time it wasn't a dangerous enemy of yours who broke out!>

... Not dangerous? Velvet, Charon may not be dangerous on the same level as Cyrus, but he is still a threat. And not knowing who he might be working for, and what kind of technology he might create for them...

Velvet: <Hmm... I guess you're right.>

- Sighs -

So, what do we do? Should we inform the others?

Artemis: <I dunno, does it really concern them? We don't even know where that Charon guy is!>
