Maekrite — <Hey! Don't underestimate me because I'm small! (and of course I'm cute!)>

-Maekrite blushes, gets nervous and starts scratching and pulling my hair-

— Ouch... just as I remember, heh Anyway... I see your two Starters are not exactly getting along...

Maekrite — <No offense but I still like Lake the more though... I mean, years ago evolved lendri > — points at Cinder — <used to sneak into the colony and eat kits like me...>

-I poke Maekrite for him to shut up as he is definitively not helping matters-

— With all that's happening, we should start by going to HQ to check what the heck is going on, but... I'm still a bit afraid of leaving the colony alone...

-Vinollo and Rize with their squads walk in-

Rize — <We can take care of the colony... we always do.> — to me — <You have trained us well, can be sure of it.>

Vinollo — <You should be heading to your mission now... a squad will follow you to Rt. 36, or to Goldenrod if you plan to go there...>

-I turn to Inka and Dad-

-Helen nods and takes it, slipping it into the messenger bag slung for her shoulder, then renounced Epona-

-she nudges Epona with her knee and the Rapidash takes off at full speed, Helen crouched low over her neck-

-5 minutes after leaving the foyer-

-The group comes out of a closet into a bedroom-

<Buster: "... Where are we?">

<Pascal: "... Looks like a room, man...">

<Rattata: "H-HEY! WH-WHO ARE YOU?!">

-The group notices a startled Rattata-

<Guy: "We're looking for our trainer...">

<Nathan: "Also, you can calm down a bit, we're not going to hurt you...">

<Rattata: "I-I'M NOT S-SCARED OF YOU! I'M TOP PERCENTAGE!">

<Zoe: "Sorry! We were looking for something else!">

<Rattata: "JOEY!">

<Leana: "Alright, alright, we're leaving! Just keep your mouth shut!">

-The group hastily re-enters the tunnel via the closet-

-About 20 minutes later, after reporting to Red Skull, down another space tunnel-

-The group crawls out from under an alcove with a glow formed by some rubble-

<Zoe: "What is this place?">

<Milo: "Looks like it's a lake, man... And what's with the weird tower over there?">

<Guy: "Why does this place seem so-">

<Nathan: "... How did we end up here?">

<Leana: "Where are we, Nathan?">

<Nathan: "Dragonspiral Tower. This is where I grew up... From the looks of it, we're by the ...">

-A small group of Mienfoo spot the six-

<Patrolling!Mienfoo #1: "You there! State your business here!">

<Patrolling!Mienfoo #2: "Yeah! We didn't get any word abo- Wait...">

-Patrolling!Mienfoo #2 notices Nathan-

<Patrolling!Mienfoo #2: "... Weren't you one of the novices that left several months ago?">

<Patrolling!Mienfoo #3: "Well he was from one of the shifts... From the Druddigon's Cross Shift from the looks of it.">

-Points at an X-shaped marking on Nathan's head-

<Nathan: "Uh yeah. I was supposed to have gone into the Cross Shift if I had stayed...">

<Patrolling!Mienfoo #2: "So you wouldn't have heard the news...">

<Nathan: "Huh? What happened?">

<Patrolling!Mienfoo #1: "One of the leaders of the Resistance found Reshiram's vessel and brought it here a couple days ago.">

<Nathan: "Wha-? OH. Right... That white thingy that everyone was upset about after it got stolen...">

<Patrolling!Mienfoo #3: "... I'm not even going to ask how your nurse allowed you to remain so ignorant of that vessel's importance...">

<Pascal: "Uh... Dude? As much as you like seeing home and all, we should probably get going...">

<Guy: "Yeah! We need to find Tracer!">

<Nathan: "Uh... Sorry, I guess I need to g-">

-A Shiny Mienfoo with a grizzled lower left muzzle appears from some bushes accompanied by a pair of others-

<Shiny!Mienfoo: "What's going on here? I sensed a commotion and some pilgrims' Auras...">

-Nathan spots the Shiny Mienfoo-

<Nathan: "Oh. MY. GOSH. EEEEEEEEE! I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT I'M REALLY MEETING YOU!">

<Buster: "Did he just-">

<Leana: "Yep.">

<Patrolling!Mienfoo #4: "Oh no, this again...">

<Shiny!Mienfoo: "... Is something wrong?">

<Nathan: "OMIGOSH OMIGOSH OMIGOSH! I HEARD SO MANY STORIES ABOUT YOU!">

<Patrolling!Mienfoo #5: "Captain, maybe it would be best if we shooed them away...">

<Zoe: "Wait, who is this, Nathan? And why are you so excited?">

-Trying and mostly failing to become more composed-

<Nathan: "You're looking at one of our best guards ever. He singlehandedly downed or otherwise incapacitated hundreds of attackers during the siege! He was so feared by the forces of Scolipede and Lieperd that they called him the 'Blue Death!'">

<Guy: "Wait, really?">

<Shiny!Mienfoo: "... It wasn't that special. I merely did as I was told to the best of my ability...">

<Nathan: "You survived airstrikes from Hydreigon! That were meant specifically for you! You nailed one of the attackers' most powerful generals in the face! That army was sending assassins out to specifically hunt you, and you defeated over 30 of them!">

-Patrolling!Mienfoo #3 facepalms-

<Leana: "... Sorry if this is embarrassing for you guys... He's not normally like this...">

<Nathan: "And when you finally got Psybeam'd by that lucky shot, you killed the Pokemon that hit you before you slipped into that coma! And you awoke on the day that the settlement went into effect! Some of their lesser Pokemon were voiding themselves on the news that you had recovered!">

<Shiny!Mienfoo: "... That last part was hyperbole, it was a coincidence that I came out of that coma on that day...">

<Nathan: "And you-">

-Dragging Nathan off-

<Buster: "Alright, nice history lesson, but we need to go now...">

<Nathan: "Aww! But I just got to-">

<Leana: "NATHAN!">

<Pascal: "Come on, man...">

<Patrolling!Mienfoo #1: "... Where did you all come from anyways? None of the forest patrols mentioned anything about pilgrims that looked like you.">

-While re-entering the alcove-

<Zoe: "We came from a distant land via a strange tunnel.">

<Guy: "So you might want to keep this alcove guarded closely for a while...">

-While still being dragged off-

<Nathan: "It was nice meeting you!">

-The six re-enter the tunnel through the alcove-

<Patrolling!Meinfoo #2: "... Well that was... Different...">

<Patrolling!Mienfoo #4: "... So what do we do now, Captain?">

<Shiny!Mienfoo: "... Someone tell the moat dragons about this, they'd probably be able to guard this alcove better than the rest of us...">

-Cinder narrows his eyes at Maekrite, snorting a plum of smoke in annoyance.-

Lake: <I'd be careful with what you say around Cinder. He hasn't been happy since I showed up.>

I think Goldenrod will be fine for the time being...Right?

-Is still waiting for Luke to pick up.

-Somehow failed to notice that his Pokégear was ringing.-

Oh, hang on Silent. I wonder who this could be?

-Picks up.-

Luke. This is Gamer. Did you get your memories back?

-Is rather surprised to hear Gamer's voice.-

Oh! Yes! Lake helped me get them back. Where are you? Are you alright?

Maekrite (rolls eyes) — <Oh fine... but that smoke doesn't scare me.>

-While I see Luke answering his call, some Nidos come to me carrying some boxes with stuff from our place. One box calls my attention as the Nidos point it to me-

— You... you want me to wear this stuff?

Well, some kinda split personality took over me......I'm in Unova right now. Turns out I'm working for the Greedy Golurk right now. I have a strike team, guns, and everything? So, what have you been up to?

Cinder: <Whatever. I don't live Pokémon, anyway...> -Crosses his arms.-

Oh wow. Sounds like you've been busy If in a slightly dangerous line of work. I'm back in Johto right now. I just helped Silent and Maekrite regain their memories. Not without some trouble, though.

-Meanwhile Maekrite, taking advantage that I'm distracted, sits on my head and practices his Leers against Cinder and Lake-

- EPIC TIME SKIP MANEUVER -

- The Entralink, some time later -

- Goggles is bringing the rest of the Resistance over to the Entralink -

Chase: <So, this is it, huh?>

Goggles: (nods) <Uh-huh! Nice, huh?>

Chase: <Indeed. I have a feeling that this will be a good place to set up our new base!>

- Chase turns around to adress the other Resistance members -

Chase: <All right, everyone! It appears we have found our new base! Of course, this means that we all have a lot of hard work to do!>

Resistance Members: <Yay.>

Chase: (nods) <Good. Now, let us begin by finding out where to put the various supplies we were able to take with us from the Battle Subway. Get to work everyone!>

Once you're done over there, would you mind coming over here and helping me take down the Gyms? Seems all the leaders have been replaced with impostor Zororaks. Also, Mezzo and Fool are both Generals to Scolemis. Sadistic, murderous, ones at that. Can you help me recover their memories once you're avaliable?

-Helen and Epona breeze through Goldenrod and Azalea, then slow to a steady canter through the woods, taking a shortcut-

-Lake says nothing, having no objections to Maekrite practicing his leering on him. Cinder just ignores him.-

Huh? Zoroark Gym Leaders? Fool and Mezzo as murderous generals?! Scolermis?!

...What is going on over there?!

-Wakes up in a Relaxation Chamber-

Where am I?

-Notices that I'm now wearing a dark green jumpsuit and white metallic boots-

They changed my clothes too.

-Notices that apart from two Great Balls everything else has been taken-

Oh great.

-Looks up and notices a timer-

I guess I'll find out what happens next after that thing reaches zero.

Atremis and Scolepede have taken over Unova. Talk to tagg or my split personality for more, I don't really know!

The've sent their agents nigh everywhere. They have a whole fearocracy thing going for them. Luckily, Unite and Goggles are leading La Résistance.

So, can you come and help me out, once all you work in Johto is done? I could really use a hand here.

Entree Forest

-Aurora is talking to some of the DW mons that live in the forest-

Aurora:<So what is this place?>

Clamperl:<I don't know, I just know many Pokemon live here.>

Taillow:<So why are you here, hm? I've never heard of a wild Espeon being here before.>

Aurora:<Actually I got lost in a space tunnel and ended up here. I was escaping the forces of Liepard and Scolipede.>

Bidoof:<Who?>

Eevee:<Never heard of them.>

Smeargle:<The fact that you were running from them means you are good and they are evil, or they are good and you are evil. Which is it?>

Aurora:<They are two Pokemon that took over Unova, and possibly other regions.>

Smeargle:<Then you are welcome to stay here.>

WHAT?! All of Unova?! And...Wait, did you say Unite? Is he okay?!

And...I guess I could ask everyone else if we could go after we're done here. If things really are as bad as you make it sound like they are, you might need all the help you can get.

Thanks. What are you up to right now, anyways?

-Helen pulls Epona to a gentle halt in the middle of New Bark Town. The Rapidash is breathing hard from running so quickly the whole way, but seems proud of herself-

Way to go, Epona. I think that may be the fastest we've ever managed to go across the region.

-Epona smiles but says nothing, walking in small circles to cool off-

I'm gonna go hand off the package, I'll be out in a minute.

-giving the Rapidash a fond pat n the neck, Helen walks over to the lab and knocks, then waits patiently with her hands behind her back-

-While Luke talks on the phone, Inka opens the box and produces from it a set of specially crafted clothes, which she and Dad invite me to try by changing behind some trees.-

-Maekrite, seeing himself ignored, decides to leap down and walk around the place. He distinguishes a familiar Nidoran face watching him from behind some trees, and manages to avoid all the Owsla guards and elders looking for him to go behind some bushes to talk to her-

Me and Silent are just about to go and rescue some Pokémon from a research facility in [REDACTED].

-I briefly pause to wonder how my speech had been somehow censored.-

Alright. I'll take down some of the easier Gyms in the meantime.
