Senator Armitage: That jokey do-gooder in bright tights schtick might work in Unova, but that wouldn't fly here. Badges also mean accountability. And expect to be put to a standard thrice as high as local law enforcement.

Governor Sly: Anything you need, we'd be happy to meet it if at all reasonable.

The slayer wouldn't quite be able to tell where the arrow came from but the arrow that was shot previously, now stuck in the ground nearby, make a hissing sound as the area started to fill up with yellow smoke.

Arthur might be able to see a bit of reflective steel amongst some reeds on the opposite shore as the whistle of another arrow directed at Hayden was loosed.

Kalos Power Plant, Eons Ago

Julius: I don't know what a callout post or a stream is but it could work?

Flamel: Maybe we interrupt it for a special message from the Phantom Thieves or something.

-Well, heading through the already open doorway takes you to the Gymnasium. It's a pretty well-appointed gymnasium and from the tracks in the dust someone's come through here recently and left south through another open door into a bedroom. The door opposite that, that the footprints go to, is closed however-

-You could follow the tracks or head back to the landing and try the south or east doors there-

Spooky House, Oh Cat-Follower Mine

-Colton crosses the crossways hallway into what kind of looks like some kind of bunker. It's a sturdy and ultimately utilitarian room filled with outdated food supplies, a simple cot and a red telephone. The door you came in from is a big sturdy iron door with one of those wheel things. This is probably some kind of panic room. As you enter, part of the wall on the right of the room finishes rotating flush with the rest of the wall, there's a secret door in here! Additionally, a segment of the tile floor seems to be a trapdoor leading somewhere. Seems like there's alternate ways out of this room, if you can figure out how to open them-

Colton encountered the Revolving Wall. Additionally the Panic Room can be used to travel to anywhere with a dumbwaiter, currently this is only the Menagerie.

Streamy Cabin, Just Gale This Time

-It's early in the stream, the little animation of a chibi Gale chasing her Pokemon has gone away and it's now Gale standing in her woodland cabin's kitchen chopping some vegetables-

-It flashes to a new screen through a television static transition. Red and black stripes patterned across the background with a rabbit mask front and center. The voice that comes through is filtered beyond all personal recognition-

Your activities and your corrupted heart have drawn upon you the attention of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts. -With more static, the stream returns to it's usual programming-

Streamy Cabin, Panic

-Gale's on the bed in the back of shot now, typing away at her streaming laptop-

Heck heck heck. Okay guys? I'm gonna have to shut down the stream for today so I can figure out who the fuck did that. Sorry!

-And with that, the stream cuts out. In the cabin, Gale sits silent for a moment before muttering 'gottem' to herself and collapsing back onto the bed with a smile-

Silas cringed a bit and Hacks covered his ears in pain.

"Calm down, calm down... but yes, we're instituting a program since there are many kid and teenage heroes who will need guidance and direction," Silas explained.

~And they're gonna need a leader, and that leader is gonna need experience. Silas here has a lot of experience there,~

"Too much experience. So, Neon, what do you say to the Rebels program?"

Jackal nodded, "I'll talk to the others. I'll get back to you about it. Oh and..."

Hayon grinned, ~Get better system security.~

The lights went out for an instant, and the Jackal was gone.

Arthur plunked the helmet onto his head and grunted, letting out Clutch before charging towards the figure with the glinting silver. Clutch caught the arrow with Psychic, <That was close.>

"Do not remind me," Hayden commented, before charging after the Undying Slayer. Whatever was going on here was serious.

Silas pointed over to a karaoke machine off in the corner and waved Kim off.

Arthur and Victor blinked at Jess and Robin, "Hello there," Victor commented, perfectly pulling off Vetinari's raised brow.

(Kim suddenly turns around and hears Julius. Almost immediately, she blinks in shock.)

Kim: (starting to panic) "Oh, dear Arceus. I am so sorry, Barrett— all of these people are here— Evelyn just arrived— someone else is in a Darth Vader costume and I have no idea who to talk to... please forgive me—"

The Haunted Gym

Fred: ~Someone's been working out.~

Jane and Tommy in unison, rather coyly: Gee, thanks for noticing.

Jane: Oh, Arceus. We're so vain.

Tommy: That song clearly was about us.

Jane: Isn't it? Isn't it?

It should be noted that they are both wearing baggy outerwear.

Fred: ~Carly Simon references aside, that isn't what I was referring to. Though keep it up. That's clearly seeing results.~

Jane: Fred's not kidding, though. See these tracks.

Tommy: Oh, I see 'em. Someone's been using this place.

Jane: Care to wager that it's Mr. Fiveside?

Tommy: Doubt it.

Jane: I'm curious. Why all these locked doors?

Fred: ~I say we bust one open.~

Jane: What do we have to lose?

Tommy: A lot, but okay. One battering ram coming up.

Tommy and Fred proceed to ram the door where the footprints ended up in.

The J-Team Party

Jane, Tommy, and Upton arrive. Tommy wasn't too happy that Upton was with them, and Upton felt rather awkward and tried to fake a chipper attitude.

Jane and Tommy were dressed as characters from Megas XLR, specifically Akiva and Jamie respectively. The costume idea was clearly Jane's idea, as her outfit was clearly custom made while Tommy's appeared rather slapdash based on clothes he either already had or had recently bought.

Meanwhile, Upton was dressed like Kaworu Nagisa from Evangelion.

Jane: You pretty much nailed Jamie, though.

Tommy: He's basically just "Shutter if he were a complete loser" so I had a template to build on.

Upton: Hey guys, thanks for offering to vouch for me. And for helping me look for that someone I just mentioned. Can't thank them enough for getting Moloch back.

Tommy: Don't mention it.

Jane: How'd you get a guzzlord anyway?

Upton: It is a long story, but apparently, if you fall into these portals they sort of find ways to follow you.

Jane: You gave your pokémon theme names, too. You like [Canaanite] and [Near Eastern] history?

Upton: Yeah, you could say that.

Jane: This person of yours. You have any way of contacting them?

Upton: Oh, yeah. Got her number and everything. I'm a call her up right now and tell her the good news.

Tommy: You sure are excited at the thought of referring someone to a superhero armorer.

Upton: Well, you tend to get most of the Asimov assignments and you talk to him a lot. Not a stretch to assume that your superhero shenanigans had something to do with his company's tech.

Tommy: Geez, whatever happened to the whole secret identity thing. Am I really that bad at keeping it a secret?

Upton: No offense, but you give off "Peter Parker" energy.

Tommy: I've heard that like a billion times now.

Upton: But yeah. Kid's a vagabond of sorts but their heart's in the right place. If she had proper superhero cred that'd probably be good for her.

Jane: Yeah, I have reservations about that. I've read Wurmple and have heard my dad complain about superheroes. As much as I disagree with him, sometimes he makes a valid point.

Tommy: Jane, I'm right here.

Upton: Hey, I just have a good feeling that this Silas guy's the right guy for the job. Though I do hope he's already put the incidents at his house behind us. It's hard to explain. Hey, Fred, fill them in.

Fred chimes in from his Pokéball.

Fred: ~Faller-related things. Apparently, his and his father's equivalents in our universe was offed by Mr. Silas' superhero team. He is in fact the good version, or one that's actually capable of making moral choices. It's complicated. I'll let him explain.~

Jane: This Silas guy has a superhero team?

Tommy: Oh, them. I'll explain later.

They can now be interacted with.

Governor Sly: Gotta hand it to 'im, Kyle. He makes a terrific exit.

Senator Armitage: Theatrics were impressive, but I'll pass judgment when I see results.

Governor Sly: And we could only hope that they'd deliver super results. But with that reputation, I would risk my career for them.

Senator Armitage: Well it survived that prank Rip Stinger played.

Governor Sly: Eyyy, that's low.

Senator Armitage: With due respect sir, you walked right into that one.

-Evelyn looks around, sees the group of people that are talking amongst themselves. She recognizes Tommy and Jane, yet doesn't recognize the third person, but hey, Two out of Three Ain't Bad... and decides to go over to them and say hello.-

Evelyn: Kim, I'll be over there trying to talk to them. If you need me, let me know.

-Evelyn runs over to Tommy and Jane to say hi.-

Evelyn: Um... Excuse me...

Motostoke Stadium, VS Kabu

Me: Piku-chan! Use Max Strike!

Evelyn: Hatty! Use Max Starfall!

-Piku-chan jumps into the air and slams himself into the ground, shaking the very Stadium to its core. A fissure forms between Piku-chan and the Gigantamaxed Radiator Pokémon, light pouring from the fissure, before erupting into a Pillar of Light that blasts Centiskorch for a good deal of damage. Where as Hatty glows a radiant pink as she calls several star-shaped light blasts down from the heavens which strike the area surrounding Kabu's G-Max Centiskorch. After that, the starlight converges on the center and explodes into another pillar of light that blasts Centiskorch for a decent amount of damage!-

-The starlight and faerie energy seeps into the battlefield, coating it in a magical mist.-

-The golden chains left by G-Max Centiferno tightened around Piku-chan and Hatty, harming them with a residual heat.-

-Hatty then glowed a faint blue. The glow surrounded Piku-chan, and caused the chains of fire to dissipate, freeing both of them from the bindings of G-Max Centiferno.-

Kabu: Nani?!

(Delighted by this, Peechee happily raises his pincer in the air.)

Peechee: <YES—!! THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY ZAMMECHAT!>

Geddy: (awed) <Wow...>

Kim: "That was... incredible..."

<It's beautiful> Led observes, watching in awe.

Sal snorts derisively. <You're such a girl sometimes.>

<And you're such a sexist sometimes.>

They glare at each other.

"Don't fight," Hoops tells them quietly. They don't take their eyes from the battle, watching transfixed. "Please win," they mutter. "Let me see it go down."

-Orbito looks over at Led.-

Orbito: <Excuse me, Miss... I don't mean to be a bother, but what exactly does your Salandit friend have against women in the first place?>

Me: That... Evelyn, was that...?

Evelyn: Hatty's special ability: Healer. Whenever an ally is stuck with a status condition, like paralysis, sleep, confusion or being bound, a Pokémon with the Healer Ability can help their ally recover quickly.

Led laughs. <Oh, it's not that he doesn't like women or anything. We've been friends for so long that this is just the way we talk to each other. In the past I've called him sexist for such crimes as eating too loudly, or being too full of himself.>

Sal nods. <It's the way we talk to each other in Galar. If you aren't calling your friends every name under the sun, they assume they've done something to offend you.>

<So really it just shows the strength of our friendship> Led says, giving Sal a hug as if to prove it.

<Gross! You smell like old fruit!> Sal protests, as though to illustrate the point.

Kim: (to herself) "Healer... of course... that explains it..."

Kabu: Now, Centiskorch! Use your Max Darkness!

-Kabu's G-Max Centiskorch screeches and unleashes a wave of darkness at Piku-chan and Hatty, trapping them in a cage of shadows...-

-...which promptly explodes.-

Evelyn: Hatty, are you okay?

Hatty: <I'm okay, Evelyn! Don't worry about me...>

Evelyn: That's good to hear!

Me: So, Evelyn... Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Evelyn: If what you're thinking is "Let's finish this as we usually do", then yeah!

Me: -chuckles- You read my mind, Evelyn.

Geddy: <"As we usually do...?">

(Kim promptly smirks to herself, knowing exactly what is about to happen next.)

Kim: "Geddy... you are in for a treat."

Led shrugs. <I guess it's just something you get used to. Like, one of my other friends, Sud, likes to enter a room and say "Hey losers" and we expect that because that's just the way we talk. I realise it sounds weird to an outsider, but it's just how we roll.>

Phineas: I've worked with cyborgs in the past, back when I was what the foolish would say a Mad Scientist. I got the stereotype down to pat, ja? But this is hardly the most unusual thing I've been exposed to since getting here.

Upton flickered like a glitch.

Phineas: Case in point. I was responsible for that. What is new is the shadow attack, which I've only ever observed from what we called "a safe distance" in blast ranges with us in bunkers. Cowards, the lot of them. I've heard a lot about it in theory but had very little knowledge of it in practice.

The group turns to meet Evelyn. Jane and Tommy seem rather pleased to meet her. Upton tries to fake it but can't really hide the fact that he hasn't met this person and is very nervous. As if he's trying to hide something awkward that he really can't hide very well.

Also he flickers a bit.

Jane: Evelyn! A pleasure.

Tommy: You alone or are you with someone else?

Jane: Where are our manners? Evelyn, this is our coworker Upton.

Upton, awkwardly: Upton Braun. Pleased to meet you.

-Hatty clings to Piku-chan's head, gathering her power and focusing her mind as Piku-chan's cheeks crackle with a startling level of electrical power.-

Evelyn and I: Thunder of Heart and Mind, unite! May our powers blaze a path to a brilliant future for all!

Evelyn: Hatty!

Me: Piku-chan!

Evelyn and I: G-Max PsyVolt Storm!

-The sparks radiating from Piku-chan's cheeks unite with the ball of psychic energy hovering above Hatty's head, and the two Pokémon send the orb of lightning and PSI-Power into the air, sending ripples of rainbow light through the clouds of the Dynamax Storm and focusing on the Centiskorch below, first the rainbow waves of Psychic energy pour down on the Gigantamaxed Radiator Pokémon at a constant rate, followed by a seven-colored bolt of lightning that follows the path of PSI-Waves and strikes the Centiskorch with immense force.

-A fiery explosion of energy bursts from Kabu's Centiskorch as its Galar Particle-laden aura fades and he shrink down to his normal size and form, unconscious.-

Referee: Centiskorch is unable to battle! Pikachu and Hattrem win, which means the victors are Ian and Evelyn!

Announcer: THEY'VE DONE IT!!! IAN AND EVELYN HAVE SUCCESSFULLY EXTINGUISHED KABU'S FLAMES!

-Ian's Mother jumps out of her seat and cheers loudly.-
