Kim: "Well, one thing's for sure. Wherever he is... we need to find him."
(She runs off, motioning to her Pokemon.)
Kim: "Come on, guys."
(The rest of her Pokemon nod and run off— until they hear a small whimper coming from behind a tree. Instantly, everyone turns to see Freddie standing there, shaking like a leaf.)
Dio: <Are you okay?>
Freddie: <I- I'm sorry... b-but I couldn't possibly risk it... n-not unless I go up to Geddy and he goes on another rant like that again...>
Sinatra: <What?! No, you're goin' out there, kid. Geddy needs you.>
Elton: <'E needs all of us.>
Freddie: <I... I know... b-but still...>
Evelyn: Alright... Packing up.
-Ian helps Evelyn pack up her camp.-
Me: Yeah. Let's go find Geddy.
-Sits on the bench while holding miscellaneous food and drinking a Pinap soda-
"Well this wild area has me excited. I haven't been to a town in three days. Camping seems like a fun thing to do. We could go camping together, if you like?"
Recognizing the new Pokemon's draconian appearance, Colton reaches for a Great Ball before throwing it forwards.
She landed, a little eager to get to work, albeit not as much when her body began to fail her.
Dragapult used Thunder Wave!
Sylveon was paralyzed!
Frustrated, she roared, although given her being a Sylveon it was kind of just a shrill shriek that still hurt.
Dragapult staggered under the attack, slightly confused how a Normal move could so much as touch him before he decided he didn't want that to happen again.
But with Sylveon having exhausted herself with that Hyper Voice, she tried to mentally reconstitute herself.
Two spheres of almost antithetical power coalesced, striking the two Pokemon in almost practiced unison.
Sylveon used Moonblast!
"Forcing my ace, eh?" The boss asked. "You know me too well."
"The hell you talking about? This is a new team on me."
The boss didn't react, instead electing to let his ace out.
Recalling what was about to come next, Sylveon braced herself as best she could.
A purple blob splashed against the screen and the Eeveelution, causing her collapse.
"Shame there's no Power Spot."
Hang on a moment.
"Diplomacy's not working; we need to be more assertive."
Give it time, we'll find one soon enough, I'm certain of it.
<Oh, a monotyper? I've heard about your kind, you're interesting. Hold on a brief moment.>
I take it you're content with those two?
"Yep, thanks, Xatu!"

Oh right camping. That's been kinda wonderful, I'd love to.
-Acolyte bleps back tauntingly-
Channah: ...I'm sorry for yelling at you and having a - meltdown.
Kamon: Ahh. You know, trainers are so genuine. Very different from the people I work with. Like these guys I met a while ago - They're from the J-Team! I gave one my extra starter and didn't realize who they were at first! -laughs-
"I absolutely love all the new Pokemon here. I think I'm gonna make it a goal to catch all of them."
He lets out Baltimore the Rookidee.
"What do you think?"
Baltimore looks around vigilantly. Miz blows a raspberry.
Kim: "Yeah, let's go."
(She leaves, along with Paul, Dio, Sinatra, Elton, and Orwell. Elton turns towards Freddie, who is still shaking behind the tree.)
Elton: <Come on, Freddie. You want to see Geddy get better now, don't you?>
(He turns away. Freddie shakes a bit behind the tree, and Kaylan approaches him, gently nudging him.)
Kaylan: <Come on.>
Freddie: <B-but what'll happen if Geddy goes on a rant again...?>
Kaylan: <I don't think it'll happen again. It's already passed by this point.>
(He looks up for a bit and thinks, then:)
Kaylan: <You wouldn't want to see Geddy get attacked by a wild Pokemon, would you?>
Freddie: (horrified) <W-what?! No! Absolutely not!>
Kaylan: <Exactly my point.>
(He joins the group, turning to Freddie as he does so.)
Kaylan: <Now come on. We gotta go help Geddy.>
(Hesitantly, Freddie steps out from behind the tree and joins the group.)
(Geddy is sitting on a rock, crying loudly to himself, tears still streaming down his face. As Kaylan had said, his anger seems to have faded. His sadness is now full-on: he's skipped straight to the "depression" stage of the Five Stages of Grief. In the background, "Halo Effect" by [Rush] plays.]]
Geddy: (sobs, sniffles)
(The group is still looking for Geddy— and all of a sudden, Kim hears loud sobs coming from ahead. She turns her head and sees Geddy sitting on the rock.)
(Her Pokemon turn to her, and Kim points ahead.)
Kim: "There he is."
(The Pokemon see Geddy sitting on the rock and immediately run towards him.)
Kim's Pokemon: (concerned) <Geddy!>
(Kim herself runs up to Geddy, who is still looking down sadly.)
Kaylan: <Are you okay...?>
(Geddy sniffles and looks up at Kim's Pokemon, in tears.)
Geddy: <N-no... I-I'm not okay... I don't think I'll be okay for days...>
It's a noble goal, just not my speed. I generally prefer a tight-knit, effective team to just having a collection of every possible friend.
-She coughs slightly-
Sorry, got a little prosey there.
-Acolyte stares at the skunkmon, trying to determine whether there was anything to steal...-
-Handing Channah some miscellaneous food-
Well we both kinda messed up back on Wednesday with the yelling part, but, apology accepted. Are you feeling up to talking about it yet?

Channah: -shrugs- I guess.
"I understand where you are coming from. Sometimes rosters can get overbloated and you might even wonder where half the members even came from. I'll likely release all my catches eventually. I don't think I've ever had a consistent team all these years of being a trainer."
What's under the Stunky's tuft of fur? A berry, perhaps?
Okay, I guess I'll start first.
What was that whole thing about me letting people like me about?
I suppose most of them might not even realize what they're there for...
-Acolyte narrows his eyes and flies in for a Pluck-
Jackie: J-Team? W-we're with the J-Team.
Mia: <They're nice enough.>
-Ian and Evelyn arrive to find Geddy crying. Piku-chan jumps off of Ian's shoulder and heads over to comfort Geddy.-
Piku-chan: -calmly- <There there, Geddy... It's okay to not feel okay about something... I should know... Just last month, a bunch of half-crazed time cops from a distant future put Santa Claus under arrest and took over the North Pole... Not a single J-Teamer who was there took that too well... It's a Long Story...>

Geddy: (turns to Piku-chan, sobbing) <Yeah, but... this is different...>
Piku-chan: -calmly- <I know... but what I'm trying to say is that there might be some times where things don't go over well. All you have to do is keep being you and trying your best... For what is a 'mon? What has he got? If not himself... then he has naught... To say the things he truly feels... and not the words of one who kneels! The record'll show that you'll take this blow... and do things your way. I believe in you, Geddy.>
"Aye to that."
"Have you been to Motostoke yet?"
Baltimore gets in between the oncoming Pluck and Miz. She tanks the hit but has no berry to steal.
Yep! Got all signed up for the League and spent some time reveling in the city mood. As much as camping's nice, I do really love cities.
Acolyte: <Back off, this is not your business.>
"Oh. You'll have to show me around. Maybe we can paint the town red."
Baltimore: <This is my ally. How dare make a swipe at his berry.>
Sinatra: (to Piku-chan) <Heh, now you're talkin'.> (then, to Geddy) <And it's not just him, you know. Everyone here believes in you.>
Geddy: (sighs, then, through tears) <I know. L-look, guys... I'm sorry about my outburst earlier. I-it's just that... I don't understand why he had to go in such a cruel way. He was taken from his wife and his daughter, with no chance to retire or live out his life... a-and...>
Piku-chan: -sits down next to Geddy- <Yeah... I know... and maybe we never will... but all that matters is that we live out our best lives for him and we never forget him and what he has done for the music world! Sure, he may be gone physically, but he'll always be in our hearts.>
Wonderful! I'll look forward to it.
Acolyte: <Well whatever...>
-The Rookidee flies back to his trainer's shoulder-
