Kim: (completely deadpan) “...and then?” (writes down)

Me:    Then Yami shifts into his final form... A giant metallic hand!   

However, just when Amaterasu thought it was the end... she heard the voice... of a friend...

Me: It was Issun. While Ammy and Issun were separated, Issun was gathering support and prayers for his buddy! Everyone in the Ransei Region prayed for Amaterasu's safety... And those prayers were carried to the Ark of Yamato... Once Amaterasu saw the lights surrounding her, she knew that the people of Ransei believed in her once again, and she regained her strength... and eventually... took on a new form... the form of Kamiki Village's former guardian, Shiranui... With her newfound strength and renewed determination... She made it clear that she wouldn't back down...

"Yep, that's kind of what happens," Colton allowed as he leaned back on a seat of tangible darkness and watched the clouds part, holding up the glowing rock like he was making a toast. "No one on the J-Team feels any need to apologize for being themselves, so it kind of becomes a Dysfunction Junction group therapy," he compared. "But rather than helping people overcome their oddities, we help them embrace them.

"You can find out a lot about how someone operates by how they - and to an extent, their team - fights. And even the fallout of the fight, from whether you get left to bleed out to if they heal your wounds," he observed, drawing a couple cans of lemonade and offering one to Logan.

"Me? I'm the kind of person to shoot the breeze afterwards. After a hard-fought battle, nothing beats some relaxation, a nap and a drink, not necessarily in that order."

As though summoned by the thought, Sylveon appeared, resting on her reclining trainer's lap to get pets.

Slateport Rooftops

The Wing pressed forward, firing blasters and missiles at any drone that attempted to get close. Horizon flew right next to it, drone-bits floating all about.

The escort party was making good progress.

<Finished!> Snakeye calls out, holding up what looks to be a device cobbled out of spare microwave parts, a blender, and several electrical cables, <Taste a little wasteland justice ya bandits!>

The device shudders and the drones spasm before collapsing to the floor, dead.

Amber grins, <Okay! We're clear!>

Snakeye walks over to the defense party, <'Ey nice work there. Gave us enough time to get this 'ere workin',> he even shoots Julius and Magnus a thumbs up (if he had any thumbs being a walking cactus in a poncho).

Blackquill looks it over, <How did you build it?>

<Snakeye's just the second most technically adept in this party,> Wayne explains.

The Ziltoid drones were getting overwhelming, so Silas decided for another option, he loaded up another missile, and hit remote. Carefully aiming he pointed it right at the metal object they were flying towards, with a click he pulled the trigger, and let the missile fly, adjusting its trajectory right at the large dumb object.

The ship shook and klaxons went off, Ziltoid toppled over, only to get back up, ~WHO DARES ATTACK ZILTOID THE OMNISCIENT?!

He scrambled up to the bridge and directed his ship forward, spotting several smaller objects floating out in space, Ziltoid was livid... for a moment.

In everyone's heads they could hear, ~YOU DARE ASSAULT ZILTOID TH- Oh wait. Is that you Lucario Cyborg Man thing... Silas! Silas was your name! What in the devil are you doing out here?!~

Silas sighed, "Everyone, meet the source of our troubles, and the origin of my artificial gravity generator. Ziltoid."

Des opened up his comms.

"Hello Ziltoid. Please stop firing on us. It's a little upsetting."

Space, Past

The Geo Soc crew were completely taken aback by the sudden attack on the vessel. The Peters_ns were still confused, disoriented, and a tad upset. Flash, meanwhile, is both puzzled and undecided.

Flash: Look, not to sound like I didn't learn an important life lesson or anything but even after all this stress I still think space battles are cool--maybe even cooler. Just in case anyone else wants to point out being careful on what they wish for, I specifically didn't wish we get into something this off the rails.

Tommy: I'm not about to complain. I still think that way for the other absurdly dangerous things I do.

Anthony: Okay, hold up. Who the eff is this Ziltoid fellow and what do they have to do with the drones that attacked us? And Andy, get a toxicologist on speed dial. I am starting to worry about you, too.

Tommy: Where's Gavin?

Flash: Oh. There he is. The shaking got to him bad. You okay, honey?

Shutter kneels over. A slime trail that is peculiarly purple has formed around him.

Flash: Honey? Shutter? Gavin? Are you alright? Shall we call a Medic?

Shutter, uncharacteristically scary voice: I'm fine, babe. We and the Beheeyem just have some unfinished business to attend to.

Flash: Beheeyem? But Peasy's not yet— oh. I forgot all about the Muk thing.

Tommy: Okay, is there something going on that you're not telling me?

Anthony: Or me? But that's to be expected. We're not exactly close-close friends yet. Never mind.

Flash: Toms, we don't tell you everything. And honey, if Eddie needs to do that something, just make sure you don't do anything stupid in the process. Still, you might need to let me handle this.

After that One-Hit KO, the chat quickly filled with how awesome Travis was and how they'd be up to the top of the tower in no time like this. When he then took the loead, the S³ all went after him, though, eventhough they were just their avatars, Travis could see that they had to visibly hold back to not run in front of him again, quite literally running circles around him at times.

Viridian City Hotel:

"Awww thank you!" Travis boasted after noticing the chat feed explode before trying to downplay what happened, "I've played quite a few RPG's and another MMO in the past, so this ain't much." Travis' avatar would then lead the way, further down the path while avoiding several unwanted weak encounters as he brought the party closer to the entrance to a dark, massive cave system next to the Submerged Citadel itself. Occasionally however Travis would be forced to use Bullet Seed to snipe a few tentacools, quillfish and other weaker water mons. If his Grovyle wasn't able to beat them right away, they'd be weak enough for the S3 to finish off and gain some XP.

"You guys are full of energy aren't you? Let me guess, you're a bunch of grade school friends or something?" Travis would ask, making note of how often the S3 seemed to find simple entertainment just for running and jumping around.

Shutter and the Cam Crew are wrapping up a short video on the end of the Team Mobiüs crisis.

Shutter: Today marks a new beginning for the world, in more ways than one. As we prepare to enter a new decade, we bear witness to the end of the Multiversal Crisis as dozens of interdimensional rifts.

Cut to a montage of mostly amateur footage of rifts closing.

Shutter: Just a few days ago, Ivo Univyse has been captured by the J-Team and is now under PEFE custody. We had reports come in that the J-Team and their allies have eliminated the remaining leadership of Team Mobiüs and have defeated one of the remaining dimensional anomalies they left behind.

Cut again to a montage of clear yet somewhat awkwardly angled footage that may or may not have come from a Team Signal operative within the J-Team.

Shutter: As we've come to realize, the threats we face as a world are ever-changing, and certainly this will not be the last time that we will have to confront something as dire. But again, we can always count on people much like the J-Team to rise to the occasion. We are grateful for these and other unsung heroes for helping us cope with and live normal lives despite these threats. Once more, this is Gavin Albright, reporting. Viewfinder Slime Forme: I have a bone to pick with you Ziltoid. You imprisoned me for years and treated me like I was a curiosity for your cohorts to gawk and prod at. And I will not rest until I have my revenge.

He turns to Silas, rather menacingly.
