Tommy complies, following Silas toward the board room. Shutter and Flash leafed through the papers looking for the extent of what they can report, while Anthony just sighs and waits for instruction.
Shutter, silently: You noticed anything peculiar about
Flash, silently: Yeah, Shutter. I get what you're going at by this since everything we know kind of brings to light that she may be extradimensional, but try to control yourself and not probe too much.
Shutter: I gotcha.
Flash: And nobody say anything about the ears. That'll be racist.
Anthony: They're beautiful.
Flash: Tom, we have to talk.
Shutter: Yeah, she's out of your league.
Anthony: I don't care.
Shutter: Yeah, he's gonna be like that for a while. And don't think it's just a guy thing.
Flash: Touché, so it's gonna be one of those things. He'll move on.
Shutter: Think you can handle an interview with Her Majesty? I'll need to check something out with Tommy.
At the board room.
Tommy: I'm glad to see you again, sir. It's been quite a rough month. You've probably heard about that incident in the Castelia City construction site, right? Pretty awkward to admit that they caught me completely unaware and out of left field and who knows how much they've managed to know. They also kinda left me stuck in my civvies and you can probably guess that the situation was less than optimal, especially since I had to hold a lot back so they don't notice anything suspicious.
Tommy: But yeah. I couldn't make myself look awesome as a regular guy without the need to get all dressed up for the occasion. And I couldn't even find a decent opening to do that. That's a spirit breaker. I had to appear in Hank's talk show after that since sightings of Arachna-Guy all took place after the villains have already left. Damn those fellas were hard to track.

Hank: The one time Arachna-Guy would have been useful and he makes a no-show when supervillains were wreaking havoc on the city. Clearly, he's either in cahoots with them or is terrified at the sight of real villainy. Or he could have been outnumbered and thus outclassed or busy with some other villains—who wrote this?
Apparently, Jane had taken control of the teleprompter.
Tommy: Well, I'm sure if he were there, he'd have given those guys a run for their money.
Hank: But he wasn't, was he? You're our leading photographer on the street who goes after that so-called hero and take pictures that make him look good. But when you were in mortal danger, he fails to save you in your hour of need. How betrayed do you feel?
Tommy: We can afford to be a bit more forgiving. I mean; we don't seem to complain when Vulpecula isn't around. They're human too, you know.
Hank: And he couldn't even be trusted to cover for real superheroes when they're unavailable.
Tommy: He told the cops he's looking for them, didn't he? And they still trust him to do just that. Today was the CCPD's turn for heroism; my cousin-in-law made sure that I and many others got to safety.
Jeffrey sat among the audience with Officer Jenny.
Officer Jenny: Sarge, why do we watch this? He's almost as bad as Alex O'Reilly.
Jeff: Tom-Tom is doing damage control. We can't have the city suddenly turn against our web-shooting friend like that.

It could have been one of the Macrauls who were working on this. After all, last time one of them stole Pent's body - who knows what else he can do?"
"But that still doesn't explain the Morpeko," Sylveon interjected. "Where the hell did he come from and where does he fit into all of this?"
"I think the better question is who instigated. Vertias' wording says Pent, especially since they're apparently a construct of his. But why would he do something like this?" Ammy asked. "Some of these power sets are a curse - [Nicol Bolas'] inadvertent [planeswalk], anyone?"

He looked to Tassa.

Fuka: Okay, I've decided. (Takes a Poke Ball from her belt) You haven't been out yet since we got here, so it's your turn. Come out, Elanor!
The Poke Ball opens with a flash of light. From it emerges a Binacle. The eyes on the Pokemon's two claws look this way and that, independent of one another. Eventually the right claw stops and settles its eye on Fuka.
R (Right Binacle): <This is a new place. Lots to see! (to Fuka) Hello, Miss. Your eyes are really big today.>
L (Left Binacle): Mouth, too.
Fuka is staring at Binacle, wide eyed and open mouthed.
Fuka: I can understand them!

"The two are trouble, under Tonio, Pokefutures remnants have actual organization and she has access to experimental ideas. Delta's efficiency embodied and being delayed keeps him on his toes."
The two shrugged, "Sounds to us like not getting to be a cool hero's a step up over being caught."

"Tommy understand this, he separated me from my team one by one, and still had a psychic type left to manipulate my movement. He even stated that it was only because he liked me that he even toyed with me, if it had been any other situation he would've had me frozen and then he would've slit my throat," Silas stated, trying his best to put urgency in his voice, "You don't fight against Delta alone. You survive."
Roxy stared as everyone was starting to crowd around Tassa.
Tassa looked a little offended at some of the insinuations, "One, my kingdom doesn't exist anymore so I am not a royal anything. Two I was born here on Earth, about 3000 years ago and I was frozen. Three my ears are just pointy like this, it's how everyone on Hyul was, and four, I don't really want to talk too much about my past."
She sighed and Ganon gave everyone a look, <It's been a long few years.>
At the questioning of her adventures, "I've seen a bit of the world, seen what has changed. Sold some Rupees from my island to get some money, sold for quite a bit. I know you all have a bunch of questions but please, I'm just a passenger on this journey as well."
"Which reminds me!" Roxy stated, "Bishop if you could please, we have everyone."
Bishop floated over to Pent and Kaiiseii, "The NDA documents are for the GEOSOC Crew. Do not worry," before vanishing into a wall, the ship shook and they were off again.
The GEOSOC crew would find the documents dealt with something labelled as "Highly advanced and classified, not currently possible, does exist". Most of everything else was cleared to be looked over as it existed and had been made before.

It's hard to tell if they're smiling because they're genuinely happy about this or if it's because they're having too much fun coming up with things to say while on the job.

Halis: "...Yeah, no. If I'm gonna have an otherworldly power bound to me, I'd at least rather have it be consistent. Definitely gonna have to talk to Pent about this afterwards... my body is a temple, not [Luigi's Mansion]."
They quickly move back over to the group.
Halis: "Since these powers are ultimately temporary and I'm not normally strong enough to carry someone like this, I'd suggest someone else take Pent from me. Please."

At the boardroom, Tommy nodded politely. Had he been a headstrong hormonal teenager with a desire to prove himself to Silas for some reason, he'd have done something even more foolish, which could've put the kibosh on his superheroing career or worse, place his family in even more danger from two bloodthirsty organizations. The thought of that mortified him, but he tried to compose himself.
Still, Arachna-Guy being a no-show was a difficult thing to live down, and the idea that he ran late to the party and was pursuing them as he told the police was going to be a hard pill to swallow for Castelia City.
Tommy: I guess you're right. They're not like smugglers or drug dealers I usually take care of, and they're a cut above those fellas in over-the-top gear in Kalos. The type of supervillains you need a crossover team-up to even things out.
Now that Silas mentioned this Delta fellow and what he was capable of, it dawned on him exactly how lucky he was that the only reason Tobi escaped their clutches was because as far as they knew, he wasn't there, or so their ruse made them think.
Tommy: By any chance, does this "Delta" fellow of yours do legwork for large scumbaggy corporations? I mean, Pokefutures I understand is one of those but by the way they started arguing it ruled out them being in cahoots. I'm kinda even more worried about Tobi now. And speaking of—you're aware of magic items that can turn pokémon into humans, right? Think they'll figure it out"?

-The vial of deep crimson shatters on contact with the floor near Veritas, the liquid within fatefully splashing up towards her. She raises her arm to block most of the spray but the few drops that do get on her hiss and fizz for a few moments as her body around those places ripples briefly before she can cover them up-
Veritas: Fine, in the order they were asked..! You still have your powers because the night's not yet done. His little ritual had a failsafe of stopping at midnight if he didn't 'fix' the enchantment. Secondly he's unconscious because accidentally forming me is quite the straining psionic feat, so I suppose I knocked him unconscious. You probably can't keep your costume powers because it's Pent's ritual and just look at him he's not in a state to finish it. And that vial was a potent anti-occult botanical extract that tends to hurt like the S-world so thanks.
-Her breathing's actually a little ragged-
Veritas: I really, really want to tell you what information I am but...
