She turns to the voice to see Des.

Lita: "Da-Des. You made it."

He smiles.

Des: "This'll be our first raid. I wasn't gonna miss it for the world."

Lita chuckled. "Trying to make up for all those other firsts you missed?"

Des smiled and waved a finger. "Technically an Au version of myself, but he would likely approve of this."

Interdimensional father and daughter are ready to begin.

AU, Sekra Range

Hanging out in the back of this group is Sparkers in human form. He is currently playing with a lighter.

I could use a smoke right now.

-Ian turns around to see...-

Me: Hey, Des! It's been a while. Who's that you have with you?

Mezzo: Oh, these idiots again.

Pianis: Who did you think it was?

Des: "Hi Ian! This is uh..."

Lita offered Ian a handshake.

"Inter-dimensional Future Daughter. It's a long story and oddly not all that uncommon amongst the J-Team. Des has told me about you. You helped him in the Macraul Raid."

That's correct. The base proper is where the Go-Rock Squad's old base was, which according to my other self's memories got reused in his universe by Go-Rock Squad remnants being funded by Cipher, so that's a bit of a theme.

-As the party heads up, they start to see signs of activity. Specifically, a brown-haired mid-twenties Mobius member in a blue coat who seems to have acquired a smoothie from somewhere.-

-Which she promptly sputters and chokes on upon seeing the J-Team arriving.-

Mobius Moderator: Oh, shit. Uh, halt!

-She takes a... stance of some sort. It's not especially threatening, since she seems to be on break right now, and does not seem to have any Pokemon on her person at the moment.-

Me: So, here we are... A Mobius Society Base.

Piku-chan: <This is gonna be like the Castle Levels in Super Mario Bros., isn't it?>

Me: I would assume yes. And it looks like there's someone on guard...

Piku-chan: <They don't look all that threatening...>

Me: -chuckles- They don't even have a single Pokémon on their person... Who assigns a guard to their post without a Pokémon?

You are outnumbered, and my Vikavolt would probably paralyze you faster than you can send out a warning to your buddies, so it's in your best interests to surrender.

-She drops her smoothie, and puts on an armband. The moment she's in Pidgeot form, she bolts, flying upward on a Tailwind toward the roof of the base.-
