Milagros: What is it?

Halis has fallen asleep after talking (and likewise being petted) for such a long time, still in Buneary form. Their scarf is currently mainly being used as a soft surface to sleep upon, rather than being worn.

Me: TEAM SKULL! They could've been the ones that graffiti'd your bike and stole a throttle!

Milagros: Team Skull? Isn't Team Skull based in, I don't know, Alola?

He paused, and noticed only then that a branch was lodged in his arm.

Milagros: Wait, you might actually be right! I've heard that Team Skull has it's own branches in every region! Of course, I only know this because I worked as an intern for Team Galactic for a year or two.

-Gaia nods at Silas's speech.-

-She casts a sideways glance at the emerging figure of Rogue, though this time it's more of a "we need to talk" glance rather than an "I've got my eye on you" glance, insofar as any distinction between the two types of glances can be made from behind her all-concealing helmet.-

Ersatz Alliance - Present

-Lucius, having bumbled into the store purely by accident, tries to shake awake the nearest Buneary.-

Lucius: Hey, have you seen an Alolan Sandshrew around here? Around yay high, probably hiding behind a scarf, and almost definitely hiding in a corner the moment more than two people enter the room?

Milagros: It's fine. And I hated every second of it too. The only way I could quit was if I got fired.

So one day I remembered this and came in very late. Yeah, Cyrus backhanded me in the face. Yeah, my parents punished me with their "weavile attack" torture, but it was worth it.

They open their eyes slightly, then suddenly jump wide awake... literally, quickly pulling the scarf back onto them.

Halis: <O-oh, uh... hi, Lucius... I can explain, honest, just give me, like... a minute. Or, uh, two... or a thousand...>

Halis seems a bit embarrassed.

Me: Weavile?

-Ian checks his Pokedex-

Pokedex: Weavile, The Sharp Claw Pokemon, and the evolved form of Sneasel. A Dark and Ice type. It is said to be extremely intelligent and its sharp eyes see everything. They communicate by clawing signs in boulders and work together to surround enemies.

Me: -crying- It must've hurt to face such torment... is that why you ran away?

Milagros pulled out a pack of tissues from out of nowhere before handing them to Ian.

Milagros: Yep.

Erzatz Alliance - Previously

Girl: "Yeah, I think almost any ghost type can phase through stuff, and some that can temporarily assume ghost type"

-She doesn't have a good answer for the Lucius thing at the moment, so she just pets-

-By the time she remembers she might have Lucius's number, the buneary is asleep-

Erzatz - Present

-The girl that Lucius might have gone on a date with that one time is still behind the counter now that things have apparently settled down-

-Lucius blinks at the Buneary in front of him.-

Lucius: ...wait, Halis? Is that...?

-He then notices the girl behind the counter, and goes a shade of red usually associated with traffic lights.-

Lucius: ...Actually, how about I say I don't recognise anyone in here? I think that'd make things a lot less awkward. What do you think, random Buneary?

Halis: <Uh... ok? Is there something wrong? Did you do something bad...?>

They don't seem to understand.

Erzatz Alliance

Girl: -Apparently paying more attention to the phone game because awkward- "Hello and welcome to Erzatz"

-Beat-

-She stares at the opal arm-

Ammy grit her teeth, looking between Pent and Minerva.

"I'm a little on the fence," she said, having Minerva eventually return. "But I will be available for assistance whenever I can be.

"Miiight need a few weeks to see if I can make the costume a reality, though," she considered. "And also to reconsider who to be."

Ersatz Alliance

-Lucius shrugs at the Buneary.-

Lucius: Uh, well, I dunno if it was bad bad... I mean it was hitting on someone I didn't realise was in a monogamous relationship before I came to terms with my sexuality, which isn't 100% okay, but I hope it can at least be written off as the manifestations of adolescen- wait, I shouldn't be sharing this with a random Buneary, should I?

-Only now does he seem to realise that the girl at the counter is talking to him, and he jumps to attention.-

Lucius: Oh, you too! I mean, uh... yeah, it is. Well, actually it probably isn't, since it was most likely buried in the ground ages ago, but it's only recently been strapped to me! Eheheheheh...

Halis looks at Lucius, a bit confused still.

Halis: <So... you did do a bad, then?>

They yawn.

Halis: <What time is it, even? I feel like I've slept for a long time...>

Erzatz Alliance

girl: "Yeah, I only just started here"

-She sighs-

"I take it your last 'job' didn't end well?"

"Damn it's getting crowded i-" Denali started, only to see him, "-LUCIUS?!"

Arthur looked over to the shrimp with the opal arm, "You know him?"

"Know him? I'm his therapist and the reason for that new arm of his."

"Fascinating," Arthur commented.

-Kai paces outside the door to the Faction building.-
