-In the center of the island is a tower of wooden blocks-

Cady: I wonder if it varies with the shopkeeper, or they had different policies back then?

Me: H-Huh? Wh-Where am I?

-I turn around to see a giant tower of wooden blocks-

Hoo boy! That wasn't there earlier...

-thinks to self- Could my challenge be Arceuszilla sized Jenga? Wow... he must be pulling out all the stops to keep me from this scarf... Either that, or he's just desperate...

Deskman: Good, you already know the basic rules.

Deskman: This round will work differently, however... You will be the only one moving blocks. Move thirteen blocks to the top of the tower, and you have won.

Deskman: HOWEVER! My team will be stationed around the arena, aiming to topple the tower from afar!

-stationed at five points on the other side of the moat are a Mandibuzz, Mankey, Mantine, Manectric, and Fomantis-

Deskman: BEGIN!

Banshee Raid, Boss Arena - Past

Gaia: Understood!

-She activates her Grapnel Gear and starts swinging from the ceiling as Foxglove takes off in the opposite direction, both managing to get clear of the missile barrage and petrifier beam.-

Gaia: Foxglove, test its defences! Air Slash!

Foxglove: <Can do!>

-She flaps her wings to create blades of air and send them flying at Banshee's mech, while from the other side Gaia fires an EMP dart at the left arm.-

Me: How did you read my mind?! Nevermind that... Who are THOSE Pokemon?

-Ian checks his Pokedex-

Pokedex: Fomantis, the Sickle Grass Pokemon. A Grass Type. They give off a sweet and refreshing scent. Cutiefly often gather near the tall grass where Fomantis are hiding. At night, they always try to find a comfy place to sleep and soak up sunlight.

Pokedex: Mandibuzz, the Bone Vulture Pokemon and the evolved form of Vullaby. A Dark and Flying type. It makes a nest out of the bones it finds. It grabs weakened prey in its talons and hauls it to its nest of bones.

Pokedex: Mantine, the Kite Pokemon and the evolved form of Mantyke. A Water and Flying type. As it majestically swims, it doesn't care if Remoraid attach to it for scavenging its leftovers. Mantine swims about the ocean majestically, and may fly out of the water if it builds up enough speed.

Pokedex: Manectric, the Discharge Pokemon and the evolved form of Electrike. an Electric Type. Manectric has the ability to gather local electrical energy in its mane, and then discharge it, creating thunder clouds.

Me: ...and I already know what a Mankey is, but just to see what the Dex says about it...

Pokedex: Mankey, the Pig Monkey Pokemon. A Fighting Type. Although Mankey is usually calm, it does have a bad temper. Once Mankey begins to Thrash, stopping it is impossible.

Me: Okay... so it's just me moving the blocks... even if my Pokemon can't help me by moving the blocks...

-thinks to self- ...would it be against the rules if I had my Pokemon interfere with Deskman's Pokemon as Deskman is having his Pokemon interfere with me? It could be worth a shot... but I'll need to try something...

-I jump into action and try to find a loose-fitting block-

Mantine: <Think fast!>

-the Mantine squirts a jet of water towards the tower...-

Me: Piku-chan! Stop Mantine from hitting the tower with Thunderbolt!

-Piku-chan coats his whole body in electricity and unleashes a burst of lightning at Mantine's water jet, stopping the attack altogether-

-Ian finds a loose-fitting block, pulls it out and jumps up high to place it carefully on the top of the tower-

Me: One down, 12 to go...

-Watch it! The Mandibuzz is now throwing a pair of bones at the tower, arcing in different directions!-

Me: Oshawittle! Send those bones back with a Freezing Shell Blade!

-Oshawittle summons the blade of his Razor Shell and combines it with his Ice Beam, and used the fusion attack to imbue the bones with the Ice Beam's power and send them back at Mandibuzz-

-I find another loose-fitting block, pull it out and jump up high to carefully place it on top of the tower, next to the first block-

Me: That's two! Only 11 more to go...

-the Mandibuzz poses dramatically, before wing-attacking the bones to bat them bat for a second volley-

Oshawittle: <Not today, yon feathery scoundrel!>

-Oshawittle moves his Freezing Shell Blade hypnotically in midair... It's Swords Dance!-

-Oshawittle's Attack Increased!-

-Oshawittle then sends the bones back at Mandibuzz with his Freezing Shell Blade-

-I find yet another loose-fitting block, pull it out and jump up high to carefully place the block on the top of the tower, forming a new layer on the tower-

Me: That's 3.

Amaterasu threw up her choker before she caught it in her tail, using her eight free ones to send out wisps that coalesced into a spire of flame around Banshee's mech, while Minerva desperately hopped off Ammy's back, narrowly dodging the petrifier by jumping off an illusory platform.
