Diane: ...Huh. Sounds like you've been busy.

-She is then rushed into the garage-

Diane: Right, so, the arm! This particular model is an idea I've had in progress for a while, involving a lot of research and measuring and guesstimation of mass. Long story short... actually, here, lemme demonstrate real quick.

-She sets the arm down, digging a 9V battery out of her pocket. On the attaching end is a small metal sensor, to which she taps the battery.-

-The arm proceeds to shift. The fingers retract, the angle of the elbow rotates, and the side of the arm opens up to let a series of "feathers" fan out. It's not the prettiest, but it sure seems to be functional as a real wing.-

Diane: When it's actually attached, the battery won't be necessary, because the same energy that provides the "glow" in a Pokeform transformation is enough to trigger the shift.

-She taps it again, and the prosthetic returns back to the arm form.-

Diane: I've reserved a spot to potentially tie the whole thing to an internal switch based on a Sunstone and Moonstone so as to make it nearly instantaneous, buuuut that's a mod for a later day. For now, we just have a way to stop me from being a bird with one wing and one human arm, which I can't imagine being comfortable for any party involved.

Okay, it's a bit hard to sense with the background radiation, but let's see if I can find home...

-A couple silent seconds pass-

I think that's a Wormhole I can sense, the ambient Aura coming out seems like home, but it probably isn't.

Just keep moving briskly, if we run, they'll start giving chase, and that would just be annoying. And if we start fighting, next thing you know it turns out we've somehow created a multiversal incident or something.

-After some more brisk walking, we manage to reach the Ultra Wormhole and enter it just as the Nihilego reach into effective attack range-

Necrobutcher: -visibly deflates in relief-

Channah: ... -surreptitiously grips Tagg's arm as they go through-

-We end up in what appears to be a barren cliffside-

...Yeah, don't think this is home.

-Seeing some Swellow flying by-

Jessica: "I can't be a very good superhero if I'm never out patrolling, can I?"

The Armored Arcanine: <I wonder what happens if I sticks this chainsaw in a personmon?>

-Kaiiseii coughs as he enters a room full of smoke and sparks.-

Kaiiseii: "There are easier ways to get high, yaknow."

Isbrand: "Vent switch is by the door."

-Kaiiseii flips the switch, causing fans in the ceiling to switch on and suck all the smoke out.-

Isbrand: "Damnit."

-Kaiiseii peers over her shoulder at an arm cannon and a prosthetic leg.-

Kaiiseii: "When did you last see sunlight?"

-Isbrand furrows her brow.-

Isbrand: "Last year? Christmas."

-Kaiiseii stares at her.-

Kaiiseii: "We're going to Kalos."

-Forte scratches their head-

Forte: I have a Lunala?

Blueberry: <Whoa, really? That's awesome!>

Shadow: <Sounds like someone mistook you for your sister.>

Blueberry: <Whoa, your sister has a Lunala? That's awesome!>

Forte: Uh... she doesn't really "have" one per se, or at least I hope not.

Blueberry: <Oh. What's a Lunala?>

-Mezzo looks at the phone eyes half open-

Mezzo: So wait, we've got more people lost in Ultra Space? That's just grand. I'd say leave them there to find their own way out but honestly the last time we tried that we got evil versions of them showing up and trying to kill me.

The GM House

-Deziree groans, nearly falling off of her stool. She looks around, the blanket draped over her shoulders falling to the ground.-

-The workshop is as clean - if not cleaner than - as she left it before the surgery last night. Her rack of bone screws have been replaced by a thermos, and a note in Dune's distinctively un-cursive writing.-

-Deziree grabs the thermos and chugs it before realizing that wow okay it's still really hot.-

"They'd die, that's what would happen, it's a chainsaw meant to tear through things," Silas said plainly.

Roxy nodded at Jessica's comment, "Different from what we're doing, less patrol and more... hunting."

Silas nodded at that, "Still, I can see one positive out of this?"

Tae stood up and grumbled, <What's that?>

"We got a reaction out of Delta."

The team stopped for a moment, Oliver laughed a little, <That's true...>

Hacks grinned, ~He's acknowledged you.~

Silas continued, "Delta called me out, he claims that this doesn't bother him, and it may not but still. We did something and we have his attention."

Roxy smirked, "There we go, using that clever brain of yours," she said before giving Silas a kiss on his cheek.

Silas did nothing and then added, "We'll make sure your suit is ready next time."

"Oooh, could I be "The Fox" if you're "The Jackal"?"

Silas lead the party off the ship and into a new building, "This is a new location that's a extrapolation of our current technologies."

He swiped a card and lead them into a large observation area with a silver center, "This is our Holoprinter, no it does not actually print things, it's for refining unusual ideas in a more 3D space compared to drawing them up on blueprints, the idea here is that if we're building you proper space pods we want to refine the idea down."

Roxy raised a hand and Silas sighed, "Yes Roxy."

"You still haven't told them what these pods are or how you're powering them."

Silas stared, "I was getting to that."

Roxy grinned smugly, "Wasn't getting there fast enough."

Silas grumbled, "Anyways the issue with space fighters is maneuvering and control, we currently don't have the technology to make proper space fighters, especially since the Asimov Engine only runs at a 63% efficiency, which means it can get to Mars and back no problem but not any faster. Which limits fuel for the reactor and propellant, heck my own ship can't fly to Mars and back due to the design not being able to support the magnetics needed for the AE."

He walked over to the control board and booted up the system, "Thanks to Siobhan and Vi however, we may have something, a system based around maneuvering without propellant that we could easily use, it's not very practical and would be limited in production as we develop more practical devices. Johnathan told me that he had recently perfected the reactor we use for the Pory Mining Ops out in the belt."

With a flick the projector hummed to life and displayed a bipedal frame with a singular cockpit inside it, "Anyone up for this?"

As everyone got in their fighters Silas prepped the launch sequence, "Standard Armament, Laser Blasters, Super Bombs, and a recent addition, homing missiles, we'll kit out our fighters later. Alright folks, get prepped for G-Forces, we're taking off in 5... 4... 3... 2..."

Fox tilted upwards and Silas prepared himself, "One!"

The ships took off, booster rockets firing at max.

The air crackles and displaces as a structure slowly appears, a vast castle appears. Inside a man sits in front of a prism like device and smirks, "Back... after so long..."

He grins and sips his wine, "Hello Kalos... I have returned."

-Diane is sitting in the guest room, getting used to the feel of the new prosthetic.-

-Speaking of which, let's take a closer look at the thing!-

-The prosthetic has a number of moving parts, covered by charcoal-grey panels. It is segmented in such a way that it can switch between approximately equal upper-arm and forearm lengths as a human arm, or a shorter upper arm and longer forearm when in the form of a wing.-

-The feathers that extend in wing form seem to be... fairly realistically made, albeit made of plastic. The balance isn't perfectly identical to a normal Staraptor wing, but for a first model, it's rather impressively made. On the top side, they have the same charcoal-grey finish as the base, but on the underside it's a lighter, shinier steely gray.-

-That said, she hasn't quite tried switching to Pokeform yet, at this stage in the process. Best to wait until everything is properly healed first.-

Unova - TS

Jessica: "Fluff's just...like that sometimes."

-Fluffles just tilts her head before getting distracted by a Pidove.-

-Jessica's ears perk up as Roxy kisses Silas's cheek.-

Jessica: "I see you are a man of culture as well."

"And just don't take Vulpecula."

Aismov Island

Shaun: "They're space mechs, Silas."

Falconan

Shaun: "If I crash I leave all my possessions to Jessica and Gogie."

Kalos Outskirts

Kaiiseii: "Huh."

-He and Isbrand stare at the castle, the latter astride Fluffles the Second, blessed be her mane.-

Isbrand: "Fuck this timeline."

Kaiiseii: "We're going, right?"

Isbrand: "Oh, hell yeah."

Fluffles II: <Get on.>

Asimov Island - Past

"No comment," Colton said simply to Shaun, but looked excited at the prospect of the hologram of the ship put in front of him. "But dang if it doesn't look like a fascinating prospect. I'm in.

"Oh, uh, remind me to find this Johnathan person you told me about," he asked of Silas.

Falconan - Less Distant Past

He was shoved backwards into his seat but eventually managed to pull himself back in, orienting himself with the layout and finding his bearings.

He found himself sitting on his hand cannon. He shoved it into his jacket pocket and looked at the vast expanses of space.

Roxy cheekily stuck her tongue out as Silas turned away, "We're running this on a trial basis, see how it works out before we start with labels or anything."

Silas continued to say nothing, gaining stares from his team, at this point he wished he could turn invisible. Roxy laughed a bit.

"Well yeah, but it is based on designs similar to what we're using out in the belt, only manned. The Micro-Reactor runs on the same Deuterium pellets as all of our reactors so power isn't a issue," Silas responded scrolling through various designs.

"Grab yourself some haptic feed gloves and we can get set on building your mech designs, I'll make necessary modifications, as for Johnathan technically he's the head engineer so we need hi-"

"OI!"

Silas turned to face the interruption, there stood Johnny, "Oh hey. There he is."

Johnny walked down, "What are ya doin'?"

"Building mechs."

"Building mechs?"

"That's what I just said."

Johnny sighed and ran his hands down his face, "Bad enough Siobhan is using our resources for this... Now you're doing so?"

"She's the reason I wanted to. Don't see what the issue is, I've made power armor."

Johnny grumbled, "Tha's 'cause those are mass production suits covered unda the budget, this is experimental tech ya want ta use."

Silas frowned a bit, figures it wouldn't be that easy.

"Look I'm not unreasonable, I jus' wanna make sure our resources aren't wasted, all shipments from th' belt go ta mars for the colony."

"Well that's where you come in, you know this technology inside out better than I do, sooooo..."

Johnny crossed his arms and thought about it, "Fair... I did want ta test out some things but no volunteers were available..."

Approaching the castle would reveal how massive it is, and the front gates stood well over 13 feet in height, awaiting someone brave enough to try and knock. Someone really went all out on this castle.

PEFE HQ, Freight Elevator

A young woman and an Illumise supervise a cart full of vacuum tubes and boxes going *beep* as they wait for the open-air lift they are riding to reach its destination.

Polly: ...then you know what you're dealing with, but complete silence just means you have no clue if there even is a threat yet and it's so anxiety-inducing.

Evangeline: <But it's not like you can just retire from the knowledge.>

Polly: -grunts-

PEFE HQ

There is a Braixen wandering the halls! Possibly near the elevator. She's just walking along when she suddenly trips over seemingly nothing, and a bunch of photos fall out of her bag.

Strelitzia: <Aaaaaaa>

PEFE HQ

Strelitzia's tripping is noted from the elevator's occupants. Ever the data hoarder, Polly's not about to let photographs be lost to the chasms below.

Polly: Pit stop!

She leaps out of the elevator as soon as the doors crack.

Polly: Here's a hand.

She leans down to pick up the photos near the edge, Evangeline fluttering over to a few of the farthest.

Unova

Jessica: "Roxy, I feel like you and I would be good friends."

-She sticks her tongue out at Silas and opens her mouth to say something but stops.-

Kalos Outskirts - Castlevania, Dracula's Castle, The Castle Specifically For Dracula

-Kaiiseii backflips off of Fluffles II and knocks on the door. Isbrand rummages in her hammerspace, pulling out her shortsword and a Samus-esque arm cannon.-

As they're picking them up, Polly and Evangeline might notice that a lot of the photos are of J-teamers. There are a couple pictures of random pokemon, but those number far fewer. One particularly odd picture features someone who looks like Daydre (though they likely wouldn't recognize that) at a party drinking [Kewpie] mayo straight from the bottle.

Strelitzia: <Oh, e-er, th-thank you.> She hastily gathers the photos she can reach and stuffs them back in her bag.

The door creaked open, standing there was a Noivern, followed by a Chesnaut who refused to walk and instead shuffled everywhere.

<Yes can we help you?> The Noivern asked.

Polly blinks at the odder image, tilting it towards the elevator panel for a moment.

Polly: Mayonnaise?

The Illumise tilts her head.
