Kala: Oh, knock it off, Kael. It was a fine enough story, so... let me show you something similarly special. Not as much of a story behind it, but you might like it.

-Kala brings out an armband from one of his pockets, letting his guests get a good look at it, before putting it on and turning into an Espurr on the spot. He seems a bit disoriented after doing that, though.-

She then looked back to Kala

Kael: <Don't mind the stuttering, by the way, I think he's just perpetually nervous when he's in this form.>

Alyesha had to giggle lightly at the remark

Alyesha: "Don't worry, I know someone exactly like this, I'm used to it~"

With that, she looked at Kala

Alyesha: "Ersatz Alliance? I'm pretty sure I've heard that name before... I can't really pin it down though"

Kael: <Yes, and I'd prefer to get the most difficult thing out of the way first which is, of course, finding the place to begin with. I swear it intentionally avoids you if you try to go looking for it...>

Alyesha: "Well, I don't really know myself but, if that really is the case, maybe we could just embark on a journey, see where it takes us without explicitly looking for the palce"

When we last left Shutter and crew, they were on their way to Lumiose after booking a Gruber ride down toward the Lumiose city center earning a much-needed night out of the town after several days of transcripts and storyboarding.

Gimbal, in the smart phone: <It was pretty nice of the Gruber lady to give us a discount.>
Shutter: Founder's memorial day discount commemorating "The Wizard of Rideshare." Apparently they're a lot more expensive here so most people just walk.
Gimbal: <Ah, Lumiose, there's not a finer city known.>
Shutter: Except for Kinkan.
Gimbal: <That town is a manurefield and you know it.>
Shutter: So, any idea on where we'll be eating?
Gimbal: <There's a Quizos down the street from here.>
Shutter: There's a Quiznos in every street corner in Kinkan. We're here to taste authenticity, not the same dreck we have each and every day in Kinkan and Castelia.
Gimbal: <How about that place owned by the art critic's uncle?>
Shutter: Naw, they'll never let me in. They can smell out a journalist somehow. And Hank isn't making things easy ever since that kerfuffle in the Castelia City Charity Art Auction.
Gimbal: How about that place?

Alyesha chuckled at that, shaking her head

Alyesha: "I'm not in it for the money, it's enough to keep me afloat, that's all that counts for me~ And I have my own mobile restaurant - which is to say a food booth. I suppose you could call me a wandering cook"

She smiled

Alyesha: "I don't have any real route, I just wander from town to town, setting up my stand there and stay for a few days or weeks"

Clay Tunnel:

"Follow me and try to keep up. Not all the pokemon that live in this cave are friendly," The Woobat ordered in a tone that hinted they didn't actually care about anyone's well-being, but still wanted to appear helpful. Mark would follow the talking pokemon, at times having to sprint to catch up as the group would go through another tunnel within the caverns. Eventually everyone would come to a stop at a minecart resting on a track that lead left or right.

"I don't remember the way I came having a mine cart. You sure we're in the right place?" Mark couldn't help but ask.

"Mine carts are a faster way to travel around here, plus we're going to a different exit probably has gems or something," The woobat replied, with Mark flatly pointing out, "We're not trying to find a way out. We came here to investigate what's going on in this cave."

"Well you're gonna want to find a way out after you find what you're looking for right?" The Woobat suggested, not really even paying much attention to what Mark was saying as they then added, "Let's just get in the mine cart and find the exit for later."

"Can this thing fit two grown people?" Mark asked before the Woobat pointed out, "These carts haul several tons of different ores everyday. You guys couldn't slow it down even if you jumped on it repeatedly," The Woobat answered before Mark clambered in.
