- Also bringing him to our world means no Bunker so no backups and so permadeath. Also I don't think anyone in our world can fix whatever weird metal but also some red fluid stuff he's made of.
- Lemme guess, you're gonna use Porygon to hack your Pod into collaborating but what about his? The one that can defend itself against hacking and likely will not take kindly to attempting to abandon the mission.
- If you decide to let the canon run it's course then you'd have to die and also let him go through the entire story so??? That's the opposite of preventing his pain or whatever BS you're using to make this whole thing sound like some 'meta man's burden'.
- Also you're human. You don't have backups and also importantly you don't have a robo-core whatever so hey that cutscene after the first boss fight where the only way to defeat the enemies and survive is to have backups and to cause a reaction between two cores. YOU WOULD HAVE NEITHER.
- I mean this is obvious but you're invading another universe. You're invading another universe, un-existing someone in that universe so you can take their place, abducting another person from that universe and likely leaving before any of that world's problems are solved leading to the entire thing falling apart soon after you leave.
Also, like last main point I can think here. Also my sources are all up in the attachment so read those too.
- None of this would change the game, none of this would cancel his suffering. Did old Disney films change to involve a group of dimension-hopping heroes when you went through that mirror? Did Skyrim suddenly lose it's first DLC when you brought the vampires and hunters here? It didn't. If you somehow bullshit a successful extraction, if you figure out some way to take that boy out of 'his universe' doesn't mean that the story has changed, it just means now you have a robo boy toy that's going to be confused and dismayed when he learns that you're usually some guy who is organic human.
Just. Fucking admit that this is all self-indulgent and just focus on problems that actually matter.
