Ugin narrows his eyes. "You are a strange mortal. You remind me of a certain vampire I once knew. Toward the sea, there is a fortress being maintained against the forces once held here. Go, if you must, to this fortress. It will hold answers. Or at least the sweet release from this mortal coil."

Jacob: "Strange is something I've been called before. Compared to a vampire is new, though. Well, my alternative to going is staying here, which presents the option of slowly being driven mad. I think I'll go to this fortress and get some answers. Ideally without shrugging off this mortal coil."

"... Though, since I could only see ash, which way is towards the sea?"

The path winds through the growth, fading in and out in strength and definition. The noises continue to be unearthly, wobbling in and out of human hearing range, undertones, overtones, odd harmonics and unsteady pitches. Alien calls that could be anything from a mating ritual to hunting signals.

-She runs faster, keeping to the path best she can.-

Ruins

-After a quite strange rotating room puzzle, Iggy finds herself in a wider room. there's a Froggit, who tells her they saw Toriel!-

-Along the way, she also found a pretty faded ribbon to tie into her hair-

-And a small toy knife, just in case.-

-She had also found a stick somewhere.-

-Aaaaaanyway-

Upon moving on, Iggy sees a house at the end of a house, a cute little place-

-There is also a Darmanitan-

Toriel:<Oh dear, that took longer than I thought it would.>

-S He picks up her phone. Iggy's rings.-

-S He walks over to Iggy-

Ugin points a silver claw. "That way, last I checked. This land is alive, it moves. ...Or at least it used to. Now it only decays. Try to hurry before more does, and do your best not to become like those out there."

Jacob: -Twirls his staff and tosses it into his other hand, turning around and exiting- "I don't believe I could even if I wanted to."

-He exits the cave, looking around, and heads off-

After what feels like days of travel, Jacob eventually reaches the sea. A large city is visible from where he stands. Finally he has reached the border of the blight. But not for long. Inside the city is a large creature, taller than any skyscraper. Things around it simply... stop. They vanish, as if never there. This, truly, is the end of all things. Jacob is witnessing the end of the world.

Jacob: -Observing this force- "..."

-He looks up at the sky- "Am I allowed to go ask the dragon for help? Do I get fast travel? My feet are killing me after all that walking. And the lack of pants with all this ash is making me want to claw my legs off."

... This looks like something out of an rpg.. And what does S mean in this context?

She goes back and selects stats.

At last, the path ends in a clearing. Maria stumbles out of the shadows an into a blinding shaft of light, as the hole in the canopy above lets in the sun. At the center of the clearing is a purple, translucent obelisk.

A Marshtomp riding a large Mantine scoops Jacob up. "No deserters here, soldier. We need everyone on the front lines. Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, is upon us."

Mariascape

-Obellisk!-

Maria:Huh?

-tries to snap off a branch to prod the structure, and observe it in general-

Jacob: -Is scooped up- "Okay, do we have some plan of attack? Or is this "throw everything we have at it and hope something takes it down"?"

"... Wait soldier, when did I join this army? I just got here."

Daydrescape

... Well that answers my question. This was pretty... interesting.. but what do I do now?

Psyscape

The Marshtomp shrugs. "We're all soldiers here now. Commander General Gideon has a plan, we're just the ones trying to staunch the bleeding."

Jacob can now see legions of smaller creatures oozing from Ulamog, scurrying up the wall. "Actually, I think the circle is almost done."

Jacob can see a ring of hedrons being constructed around Ulamog. A Xatu and a Mienshao are leaping around it, trying to get everything in place. Suddenly! The last piece activates! The world is saved!

Nico: Rrgh, those barriers make things tricky...

Bozaka: <Not for my precious baby!> :3

Nico: ...Eh?

Gorga: <She's saying Pudge can't change color or type like a normal Kecleon but seems to shrug off power and protective boosts in other mons like they're nothing...>

Pudge: -grins- <Pudge rip Grodus like paper, scrawny human!>

-Roars and starts tearing viciously at Grodus' barriers with multiple Shadow Claws, possibly getting to Grodus himself after a bit due to the previously-mentioned Unaware-

The library continues to be silent. Perhaps Daydre is interested in checking out the books?

The stick instantly vaporizes. The obelisk instantly vaporizes.

The jungle has gone dead silent.

Maria gets the feeling she's being    watched   .

The Marshtomp shrugs. "...To be honest, I did not expect we'd get this far."

The Marshtomp is suddenly throttled by a Demonic Charizard. It is thrown from the Mantine, color fading from his face. "You there, mortal. Do you care to witness the fall of a world? Or should I put you out of your misery now?"

Jacob: -Smacks the Charizard across the face with his staff- "I don't care for either, though if given the choice I'd prefer the former."

Daydrescape

-Well, usually she would. But the books appear to be rather fragile.-

.. I wonder why there's such a difference between this book and those. Did someone put this one here more recently?

Psyscape

The Charizard glowers. "You will regret this." He throttles Jacob, enjoying seeing his face contort in pain, the breath leave his body, before dropping him. "Watch and despair."

He does a flying leap into the ring of hedrons, loosing one. He drains all of the power trapping Ulamog, eyes glowing. "I HAVE BECOME AS OF A GOD AGAIN! THIS WORLD WILL FINALLY FALL."
