Regina: <So much... pain. I'm... sorry.> -She creates a glob of Obscura and flings it at Katchina-

Zrone: "Oh where's that thing going? Legion! Target it and shoot it down!"

-Looks at his display-

"MARGHELTEHNFLAGHN!" -Pounds the console and gets back to furiously typing-

Cyberspace

Legion: -Is hit by the Tri-Attack and separates into ten separate blocks-

-The all spin, suspended above for a few moments before darting around and recombining-

-Then three pop off and go over to a new terminal construct that creates a display of two cross-airs trying to lock on Thresher and the third begins charging what looks like a flame based attack-

-Meanwhile many little hovering cube constructs appear with red tron lines, which proceed to begin pelting Gamma's defensive firewalls with malicious code-

-The remainder of Legion bathes a wide swathe of area in flame, trying to burn everything it can-

"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."

Salvador: I can understand your pain, my child. But combating hate with more hate is never the answer.

Constantin: Oh? I'm guessing your going to ask me to renounce the major sins, Pius?

Salvador: ...I have seen what excessive hate can do to people, my son.

Constantin: Then tell me.

Salvador: My father struggled with his emotions his whole life. Constantly abused by his parents as a child, bullied by his peers - he turned to violence as a way of fighting back at the constant cruelty he was subject too, and in the end he became the exact person who he despised most. In a fit of rage at the peak of this anger, he tried to tear down a slew of people with him when it seemed that once again humanity was taking away of his chance to finally be content with himself.

Constantin: ...

Salvador: But in those ashes he received enlightenment, he discovered the error of his ways. That his behaviours were self-destructive and causing him much harm and grief to himself. He found relatives who cared for him, a woman who loved him back and a family that he cherished till the ends of the earth. Alas, it was too late, and the damage from years of abuse done by both himself and others took it's toll, and he died young. Yet I imagine that, despite his ailments, he was quite happy when he passed.

Constantin: Hmph. You seem like you cared deeply for your father even if you knew he was a violent, unfeeling hack.

Salvador: People are not one way streets, my son. They are open to change and morph, if given the chance.

Constantin: ... I see

Salvador: I know there is good in you my son, you just need to be shown it. If you repent now, you may find yourself being able to be happy for once.

Constantin: ...

...I respect your concern, Padre. But I'm afraid I'm too far gone to ever be happy, that's what everyone thinks anyway. I can never be accepted, I am not one of them...

Salvador: ...

Salvador gets up and bows.

Salvador: ...I understand, but I won't stop until I convince you otherwise. As for now, I must leave. And I ask that you should do the same.

Constantin: Understood.

Salvador makes a gesture of the mark.

Salvador begins walking away.

Constantin: Padre.

Salvador: (Stopping) Yes, my son?

Constantin: ...Merci beaucoup

-Moving down the hall, Ren hears a familar voice through a hole in the wall. Ren looks down and sees Jacob battling Echo with Jacob Just having sent out Regina. Recognizing Echo, Ren calls out-

Ren: Heads up, Jacob!

-Ren holds his mega Cane like a javelin, and then, with all the strength in his right arm, hurls his the cane straight at Jacob.-

Cyperspace

-The gif on Zrone's display disappears as the firewall programs are attacked, Gamma smiles internally-

Gamma: <Self-delete functions engage.>

-All the previous firewall programs self destruct, hopefully damaging some of the Tron-Cubes, as Gamma releases patched versions of the programs.-

"Aaaargh," Smith groaned, but then said "Y'know what, screw it, I'm bringing this thing down." Smith sent a barrage of cannons and a cluster of lasers, to the top of Avalon.

Gundam follows Thresher to the back of the ship, and then Shadow Punches it.

Jab: <Don't be such a spoilsport.This is supposed to be a pleasure.>

Access: <That's not actually true.>

Mix: <It is for him. :3>

Jab: <Damn straight.>

Nitro: <It'll be fine. There are eight of us and one of it.>

Pleth: <...Yes, but it doesn't get distracted for arguments with its team.>

-indeed, the Metagross has already charged again. Diesel is holding it back with twin Night Slashes, while Breeze is rooting it to the ground with Grass Knots-

Jab: <Yaydecisionmadethat'savotelet'sgo!>

-and dashes in-

Nitro: <...Right.> -dissolves her ice darts, forming a rifle made of ice, and fires a beam of obscura for a slightly unorthodox Shadow Ball, while Pleth uses a second Mega Drain. Mix, meanwhile, uses Helping Hand to support Jab's strike, which sends the Metagross skidding back. The Metagross recovers fast and jabs a Meteor Mash, but Jab flips over it, and Diesel hops backwards and uses Silver Wind. Merle, meanwhile, aims a Thunder Wave, but the Metagross just holds up a Protect shield, which also somehow stops a Swagger from Access-

Breeze: <Okay, what are you made of?>

Jab: <We'll find out once I take out its guts.> -grins, and leaps in again-

-The Legion gestalt is once again hit and separates, the actual block that was hit blinking red for a bit before they spin a little and recombining-

-A red mesh creeps over the ground and dominates the cyberscape-

Zrone has activated anti-cyberwarfare! All bio-cybernetic constructs shall continue to take heavy damage in infected zones! Zones can be temporarily rendered safe by damaging them, however only constructs that made the zone or belong to it can damage it!

Legion: -Fires a long block at Trojan-

-The tron cubes turn into turrets and start pelting the patched firewalls with more advanced code-

Aboard the Avalon

Zrone: -Having to manage Avalon and all the weapons on his own while Legion is distracted-

"Dammit the 5th right rear flame cannon! Switching to manual targeting!"

-At this point there's a solid protect barrier over the underside of the ship, and the upperside is still also protected, but the barrier is flickering, only the front and rear have holes in the shield-

-But that's not too terribly relevant right now, because heavy artillery is firing up and exploding around the J-Team's ship, not making any direct hits but some explosions are definitely too close for comfort, and might, if they're unlucky enough, actually cause some damage-

Shaka looks down the hall as the figure of Salvador moves into view.

Shaka: So you're back, Salvador.

Salvador: I braced for the worst, but it was... calming. Though I could not convince him otherwise.

At the very least, he's abstaining from this battle. I can only hope I convinced him that those revolutionary ideas in the times coming are not worth it...

Echo: I'm aware. For seven years, I thought only of the monsters — Giovanni, Ardos, Cyrus, Ghetsis... Until the J-Team formed, I had never given a thought to the ones who stopped them.

-Katchina is knocked out cold by the Shadow Ball.-

Echo: Since then, however, I've realized that, yes, some people are worth caring for beyond existing. And that I already had a team worth caring for.

-She sends out an Abomasnow.-

-As an ice storm stirs around the office, Echo taps the Key Stone in her necklace.-

Mirka Jiānhùrén's Abomasite is reacting to Echo's Mega Necklace!

Illusion HQ

-as the Metagross recovers from the strikes, it lets out a psychic bellow, and all but Jab and Merle cover their ears or equivalent-

-Jab, however, couldn't care less about his teammates' problems, and rushes forwards to use Night Slash. His claws bounces off the Metagross's X-plate, and he slides under the spider tank to avoid retaliation. Merle, meanwhile, darts in for Foul Play, but is stymied by another Protect shield-

-Nitro, meanwhile, has recovered, and notices that the shriek shattered her rifle-

Nitro: <My sculpture! Ooh, you are gonna pay...>

Mix: <You know, can't you just replace it? :3>

Nitro: <It's the    PRINCIPLE    of the thing!>

-she forms a turret, and commences a volley of Shadow Ball bullets at the Metagross, Mix boosting her with Helping Hand. The Metagross is thrown back, and Access uses Fairy Lock, bouncing it off an invisible barrier and into a combination Night Slash/Shadow Ball from Breeze and Diesel-

Pleth: <Heads!>

-the Treecko suddenly darts out of nowhere, planting her feet in the Metagross's eyes, and leaps away, blinding the spider tank long enough for Diesel to land another Night Slash-

Airship Bridge

-Is sent to the floor from an artillery strike that hits a little too close for comfort-

Come on guys, we need to last just a little longer.

Cyberspace

Trojan: -Summons a Protect to block- <We will need to trick him into opening up some zones.>

Airship

"WOAH!" Smith ducks and rolls back inside as a chunk of the airship gets blown off. He gets up, gritting his teeth."Well, two can play at that game. Top Gun, Sky Attack!"

Moving as fast as he can, Top Gun the Skarmory, followed on his tail by some missiles, smashes in through the hole from the front of Avalon and pulled up as fast as it could to avoid the missiles.

From behind the ship, Gundam kept sending Shadow Balls to smash into the Porygons around it.

Jacob: -Without so much as a glance away from Echo, Jacob raises his hand and catches the cane-

"Tum ego faciet idem." He twirls it, slams the bottom of it into the ground as his coat billows in the ice storm and presses the top of it-

Regina's Gardevoirite is reacting to the Mega Cane!

Regina: -Stretchs out, as power radiates from her, knocking the storm billowing down on her away from her, creating a small bubble of clear air around her-

Cyberspace

-The block bounces off the Protect and blows a hole in t he ground, destroying the red infection-

Legion: -Rears back and fires a Charge Beam at Trojan and Gamma, attempting to stop them-

Aboard the Avalon

Zrone: -Is knocked off balance by the front of the ship taking damage- "GNRRRRGH....."

-Plays around with the console a little more and the barrier on top of the ship vanishes, now the barrier is protecting only the engines which have taken some damage, and the underside of the ship, which is quickly losing power due to the concentration of enemies-

"NO MORE!" -Bombards the underside of the ship with Fusion Lance beams while he tries to fire two Zap Cannon blasts at the J-Team's airship, due to their slowness though, one or both could very likely be avoided-

Jab: <Hush your face.>

-and charges with a Night Slash, but is met with a Meteor Mash. Fortunately, he's backed up by Nitro and Mix's continuing assault, and while Jab is forced back the strike never reaches him. As Jab moves back, Diesel is already in front of him, slashing at the Metagross's face. Breeze yanks him out of the way of a Fire Punch, and then throws Access (telekinetically) and Merle (bodily) forward-

Breeze: <Hit it!>

Access: <You could have asked...>

-but she and Merle both form obscura barriers, and slam them into the Metagross, launching it down the hall. It crashes to the wall and slides to the ground-

Jab: <Come on...>

-the Metagross begins to get up...>

-and Pleth plunges from the ceiling, smacks it in the face with her tail, and flips back to the group-

Metagross: <...> -grunts-

Metagross fainted!

Jab: <Hey, nice.>

Pleth: <Why thank you.>

Gamma: <Cluster Code.>

-As Trojan calls up several streams of data code in front font of him, Gamma launches a condensed beam of energy to negate the Charge Beam, and in the process, creating several data constructs called "Bits" that continue to attack the tron-cube cannons before moving to attack Legion.-

Smith smirks, and sends two missiles to intercept the Zap Cannons.

Underside

Gundam uses Phantom Force, teleporting out of the way of the Fusion Lance and ramming into the underside of the ship, proceeding to whale on it with Shadow Punches.
