-As Eowyn enters the crowd, she is challenged by a Diggersby and Kirk.-

Diggersby: <Hey, what do you think you're doing?>

Kirk: <The Supreme Aquarian Overlord doesn't allow himself to be approached by just... anyone...>

-He recognises Eowyn and trails off awkwardly as half-forgotten memories start threatening to challenge his hypnosis. Before he can say anything more, however, the Malamar steps forward.-

Malamar: <Ah, truly this is an auspicious day! A second Lucario to add to my collection. Tell me, have you come here simply to bask in the glory of my presence?>

Near Malamar

Eowyn: <The nerve of this guy... Most certainly, Supreme Aquarian Overlord!>

Kalos Route 18

Malamar: <Ah, excellent. Then I trust you would welcome the chance to bask in such glory forever~?>

-The Psychic jammer starts to make an unhealthy crackling noise as the Malamar attempts his hypnosis, but it appears to achieve its intended purpose, and the Malamar doesn't seem to notice anything amiss.-

- Nods slightly -

Herbert: Good, looks like he's taken the bait...

-The Malamar claps his tentacles together.-

Malamar: <Excellent! Walk with me a while, then. I'm sure I can show you just how->

Herbert: NOW!

-He sends out Bishop whilst Maul sends a Focus Blast into the crowd of mons, knocking the Diggersby flying.-

Near Malamar

-Eowyn suddenly charges forward and jabs the Malamar with a Brick Break-

Yeah, though I'm not sure if I fully understand why.

Crow: "Alright, let's see..."

"Go, Sundancer."

-Sundancer is sent out-

Sundancer: <What do you want?>

Crow: "You ready to battle again?"

Sundancer: <I don't see why I wouldn't be.>

Crow: "You-"

Sundancer: <And would prefer no reminders otherwise.>

Crow: "Alright, start out with a Swords Dance, then?"

Sundancer: <Hm.>

-She does a series of erratic movements to boost her attack, not joining in the battle just yet-

Anistar - DS' hotel room

- Tilts head -

Maybe even I don't fully understand it myself... do I...? I don't know...

I know you've been missing Wolf, and then that whole business with Herbert in Lumiose, but that's not everything is it?

Malamar: <Wait, what th- ACK!>

-Eowyn's Brick Break sends him reeling backwards, knocking the goblet out of his hands and sending it flying into the grass where it is promptly lost in the ensuing commotion. Enraged, the Malamar turns to Kirk.-

Malamar: <Well? What are you waiting for? Have her punished for her insolence!>

Kirk: <I... I can't->

Malamar: <You can't? What do you mean, you can't?>

-Kirk is silent. The Malamar makes an annoyed clicking noise, then turns back to Eowyn.-

Malamar: <Very well then. Looks like I have to teach you a lesson in manners myself!>

-He charges Eowyn with a Superpower. Meanwhile, Bishop and Maul enter the fray, Maul using Dazzling Gleam to dispatch a pair of Fraxure whilst Bishop lays a Gogoat low with X-Scissor.-

All of sudden, everyone might notice an unwitting Darmanitan being sniped by two Water Pulses and fainting. Two Frogadier come out of hiding from a tree and high five. Teishi then pops up near Herbert.

"<Hey! Glad to see your plan is working!>" said Teishi, waving.

-Eowyn braces herself for the Superpower...-

-Only for it to be cut off by a Water Shiruken-

Eowyn: <Huh?>

Greninja!Tiana: <Oh hi! You're Lina's Lucario! I'm Tiana!>

Eowyn: <Name's Eowyn, and thanks!>

-Close Combats the Malamar-

Crow: "...Actually, wait."

Sundancer: <...Did you want me to battle or not?>

Crow: "Well... you would be good against Kirk if he tried anything, but as things stand..."

Sundancer: <Hmph.>

Anistar - DS' hotel room

I... I suppose there's the fear and paranoia, but I've told you that before...

- Closes eyes -

-Herbert looks rather surprised at the appearance of Teishi and his squad.-

Herbert: ...Wasn't expecting you to show up. Or for you to actually be helpful, for that matter. Still, thanks for the assist.

-He turns his attention back to the battle, which is turning against the Malamar rapidly.-

Malamar: <Urk...>

-The Malamar staggers backwards, reeling from the Water Shuriken and the Close Combat.-

Malamar: <You... you cannot hope to defeat perfection itse->

-He is cut off by a Scizor's claw raking across his torso.-

Bishop: <I beg your pardon? For a moment there, one could have got the mistaken impression that you were declaring yourself invincible.>

-He kicks the Malamar to the ground.-

Bishop: <That would be a rather foolish claim for a mon such as yourself to make. Because no matter how powerful you believe yourself to be, no matter how far you believe your influence extends, no-one->

Bishop: <Messes with->

Bishop: <MY->

Bishop: <TEAM!>

-With one last kick, Bishop sends the Malamar skidding backwards several paces before he rolls over and gives a quiet groan, defeated. His thralls all immediately scatter or - in Kirk's case - simply stare at the scene in disbelief.-

Teishi looks at the scene with his eye wide-opened. So do Strider and Sub-Zero. Shadow then reveals himself by coming from behind a bush.

"<That nice guy can be really scary...>" said Teishi, inbetween impressed and scared before turning back to Herbert "<I got wind that you were coming here...>"

Ryu then suddenly appears next to Teishi

"<Through me.>" said Ryu

"<... And since you were trying to save one of your friends, I mobilized everyone I could so that if your plan failed we could work as backup. That didn't happen though, so I just thought we could help making the cleaning up faster.>" said Teishi, chuckling.

Tiana: -to Eowyn- <Woo! We did it! Do you think we could be in a fighting game or something? >

Eowyn: <I doubt it.>

- Heads over to Kirk and taps her foot-

-Claire has run out of the cave, scared shitless, so Zygarde goes over and picks up Elise...somehow-

Zygarde:<Hey. Girl. You alive?>

-Elise is lightly shaken, and quickly comes to-

Elise:-Looking around- Bleh...what hit me? -Sees Zygarde- ...Oh.

Zygarde:<Hiya. >

Elise:...Hi. Who are— -Her eyes go wide as she remembers what happened earlier- Oh no...she...she's dead isn't she.

Zygarde:<That blonde girl? Nah, she got scared and fled. She's doin' fine...I think.

Elise:Oh...good. I...I almost killed her. I hate her...but not that much...

Zygarde:<This have anything to do with your changing eye colors?>

Elise:...Probably.

-Elise explains to Zygarde what happens to her-

Zygarde:<Interesting predicament you're in. Afraid I can't help you though. All I do is stop Aura. >

Elise:...Thanks for listening, I guess.

-She heads out of the chamber-

Zygarde:<Cya!> -He turns around and heads back to the hole- <Wish I got more visitors...it gets lonely down here. Maybe a cute Noivern might show up one day...too bad those girls weren't Pokemon.>

-Herbert gives Teishi a small smile.-

Herbert: Yeah, it's generally a bad idea to mess with Bishop no matter what the circumstances are. And again, thanks for the help, you guys. Guess you're pretty good ninjas after all.

-Kirk, meanwhile, looks rather disoriented as the hypnosis wears off.-

Kirk: <I... I didn't think...>

-He bows his head.-

Kirk: <...I was an idiot, wasn't I? Thinking I could just run off like that and leave everything behind... I'm sorry for putting you through that...>

... The fact that we can't go anywhere without having to worry about being attacked by all sorts of bad guys out there... Who's fault is it really? It's the bad guys, right?

Although... why do the bad guys come after us, anyways?

Because we're the ones who deal with most of the bad guys, and they know that...

- Tilts head -

Then again, the reason they know that... it's because of all those people who go around talking about the things we've done, and the people who watch the show and so on, isn't that right?
