Titan: She trusts me, with no idea how often I have abused said trust. It is nothing more than simple luck that it is my story that she chose to believe... my story, instead of that of her former friends, whom I ordered her to kill with barely a compunction...

Galvani: It was quite a surprise yesterday when I found out. It's getting late, and I've got to make sure Dune's recovering all right. His hands looked pretty beat up. I'll see you tomorrow, hopefully!

-She waves goodbye as she makes her way back to the Pokemon Center, where Dune is already passed out due to exhaustion.-

Sam nods "Fascinating. Wonder if the armband randomly selects a gender for genderless pokemon."

Sam waves to Galvani as she leaves "Nice girl, pokemon...whatevs."

-Crewe waits for him to respond, and when he doesn't, she sighs almost imperceptibly and shoves herself up into a sitting position, clearing her throat-

<Should I... do you want me to sleep in my own room tonight?>

Psyche sighs and recalls Epsilon. ~What to do now?~ She walks out into the hallway.

-Titan raises an eyebrow at Crewe.-

Kaen is sweeping the floor, humming to himself, as usual.

Kaen: "Oh! Miss! Thank goodness you're alright, miss! I thought something horrible must have happened to you in that raid last night, miss! It was a dreadful mess, miss."

TG: ...i admit it wasn't the best of ideas, but i wasn't part of the decision-making process

TG: ...and thankfully none of us were close to being shadowed yet, we actually ended up purifying two pokemon

Psyche giggles. ~What are you doing here, Kaen? I mean, I'm not complaining, you're actually just the person I wanted to see...~

Kaen: "Everywhere needs sweepers miss, even Pokemon Centers. And I'm happy to see you too, miss. Have your friends realized how silly they were being, miss?"

CN: You mean that Verax guy we ran into in the forest? Shame he got away...

CN: We still have unfinished business with him!

Diane: It's getting kinda late, so I'll head to sleep myself. G'night, Sam.

Titan's Office

-Crewe looks down at her paws, putting back her ears-

<I wouldn't mind sleeping here... I mean, if you don't want me out, or anything.>

Psyche nods slowly. ~I think so. But not all of them... Now one of my friends... Well, more of a colleague, I guess, is still under the command of Titan, and he doesn't see Titan as bad... And now he hates me for trying to make Titan realize the error of his ways...~

Kaen: "Oh no, miss! That's sad. Titan was okay, though, miss. He was certainly better than most there, miss. But still, this is terrible miss. Now your friend needs you to be patient and stand by him and trust him, miss! He needs you to trust that he'll make the right decision in the end, miss."

Psyche sighs. ~I can't see Titan as anything but bad... He may be my uncle, but that means he's family, and he could've done much more than he did...~

Kaen: "Miss. I have a serious question, miss. Do you seek revenge, or vengeance?"

Psyche furrows her brow. ~What's the difference?~

Titan: I would not consider your presence here to be an intrusion. I cannot afford you full agency as I did back in my own lab, but consider yourself free to come and go in my office as you please.

-He is silent for a moment before continuing in response to Crewe.-

Titan: ...My apologies if this is an intrusive question, but... might I ask what your plan for the future would be, if the situation was within your control?

Psyche looks at him and sighs. ~I guess it's somewhere in the middle. I mean... He's done terrible things in his search for his Perfect World. And his perfect world is actually quite terrible. But I don't know... He left me in a ditch to die. Just like my father... He coulda at least sent a postcard or something...~

Titan's Office

-Crewe looks relieved-

-she frowns at his next question-

<I... I'm sorry, Titan, I don't know... I'm just so confused, and... and lost, I don't know what to do. I guess I would... run away from all the people that want to hurt us.>

-her frown deepens-

<No, no, I... I'd kill them. I'd kill everyone that wants to hurt me. That's what I'm supposed to do. I'm the attack dog. I hurt them worse than they can hurt me.>

-she looks troubled, and looks up at Titan for validation-
