Woolly's ears twitch, picking up a sound from further ahead in the darkness.
"What is it, Woolly? Is...is it Raikou?"
Before she can answer, a loud growl that sounds almost like that of thunder reverberates through the cave, sending a chill down mine and Woolly's spine.
Then, from out of the shadows, a large beast resembling a saber-toothed tiger emerges from the shadows, it's face covered with what appeared to resemble a four pointed mask. The beast's powerful body was covered in a yellow fur, black stripes dotting it here and there. It's thick powerful legs terminated in rounded feet, each ending in three large claws.
It's back, meanwhile, was covered with what looked like a sort of "Cape" that appeared to be made of what appeared to be thunderclouds, the beast's tail only served to reinforce this by being jagged in appearance, almost like a lightning bolt.
There was no doubt about it. This was Raikou.
And it didn't look happy to see us.
Shivering me and Woolly glance at each other, the sheep Pokémon nodding in response to my earlier question.
Woolly: <Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's Raikou...>
"Oh..."
I give the beast a quick glance, the creature of legend glaring back at me. Shocked, I quickly turn back to Woolly, fearing that staring for too long would cause Raikou to take offense.
"Why doesn't he look very pleased to see us?
Woolly frowns, a worried look crossing her face.
Woolly: <Maybe he's angry that we're intruding in his home?>
I shudder at the thought.
"Here's hoping that he isn't..."
