-After a long search through Joulant Town with Maul still hovering behind him, Herbert finally finds his mons. Bishop appears to be scolding Wrex and Samus for something or another.-

Bishop: <Now, if you two are going to be running around outside of your Pokeballs, you're going to have to learn how to act - oh, hello, Herbert.>

Herbert: Hey, Bish. You wouldn't happen to have seen Kirk, would you? Only I don't see him around.

Bishop: <He's just over there.>

-Bishop points a claw at a nearby tree, underneath which Kirk is sat and reading a book. Herbert walks over and sits next to him, Maul still by his side.-

Herbert: Evening, Kirk.

Kirk: <Oh? Hello, I guess.>

Herbert: So... done anything interesting yet? Seen anything interesting? Met any new people?

Kirk: <Not yet. You?>

Herbert: Me neither, I suppose. Well, there was Lina's Steelix, who also happens to be named Herbert, but nothing aside from that.

Kirk: <Right.>

-There is silence for about half a minute.-

Kirk: <...Why are we here?>

Herbert: I beg your pardon?

Kirk: <Well, what are we doing here? In Holon? There's no League, no gyms, and no Titan. It doesn't really seem as though you have much business in this region.>

Herbert: Well, we... you see, we're... we're looking for the shady scientists, okay? The ones that tried to capture Cresselia.

Kirk: <And how are you proposing to go about that? You've never even seen these shady scientists before, and you have no clue how to track them. In a region full of scientists, they'll blend in easily.>

Herbert: I suppose I'll... look, I'm just tagging along with the rest of the group, okay?

Kirk: <So you've got no reason to be here.>

Herbert: Do you not want to be here or something?

Kirk: <I'm not saying that. I'm just saying that you should find something else to do other than just tag along. Are you just going to spend your life being dragged into other people's adventures?>

Herbert: ...It's worked pretty well for me so far, hasn't it?

Kirk: <So what are we supposed to do? Make our own adventures?>

Herbert: Well, you're my team. Wherever I go, you'll follow, right?

Maul: ~There are some places we cannot go.~

Herbert: And what do you mean by that, exactly?

Maul: <...>

Kirk: <Forget it. You're never going to get anything out of him.>

-Kirk sighs, and stands up.-

Kirk: <I suppose I will make use of the free time that I have. You said Lina was here in Holon, correct?>

Herbert: That I did.

Kirk: <Excellent.>

-With a single ExtremeSpeed, Kirk darts up a nearby tree and across the rooftops. Herbert picks up the book he was reading, and gives a small chuckle.-

Herbert: Heh. He's on The Two Towers already...

<"...">

<"YEH!">

Jack begins to frolic down the street tispily, randomly soul burning passerby.

<"WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE">

-Lady panics-

"Well, I've been part of Lyuri's team for a good time now, we met each other at Floccesy Ranch when she was looking for some new Pokémon to catch, she saw me beating some Riolus and caught me by taking advantage that I was tired at the moment. I wasn't very pleased, but well, she was clever I guess." said Duke, with a playful shrug.

"That's pretty much it, we only started dating sometime after he became human though." said Lyuri.
