This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

I don't think anyone but the manchildren in Marvel editorial would be against Peter and MJ being married, and Ben crashing at their house as a part time Spider-Man to take the load off of Peter.
Basically the end of the Real Clone Saga, I just want the mainline comics to be like the end of the Real Clone Saga with Kaine making guest appearances. Maybe tie up the loose ends with him being the former Jinchuriki of The Other, and whatever was going on with Aracely.
I still need to finish that run of the Scarlet Spider. I read the first five issues and they were fun.

Mary Jane is not married to Paul, why do people constantly say this?
We don't know what their relationship is, it's been hinted Paul is controlling and has a mean streak, and MJ could just as well be only in the relationship to get the kids away from him. She was about to tell Peter the 'truth' about her situation when Paul interrupted them.

Oh, Morlun is going to be part of the Spider-verse event?
Eh. I thought Shathra being back was enough for that... why do we need to get Morlun involved again? Really, I think Spider-Geddon or whatever it was where Peter calls Morlun basic is all we need to retire the character.

Once you’ve had a hundred tranquilizers shot in you and are locked in a zoo it does seem like maybe you’ve run your course as The Big Scary Spider-Man Crossover Villain
Also he got beaten by fucking Sin Eater in a blatant worfing job. And that’s sad

Forever liveblogging the AvengersFirst look at Amazing Fantasy#1000
Seems Neil Gaiman's piece is autobiographical, he recalls his childhood reading the old POW comics that reprinted Marvel content in the UK, playing with their free gifts and reading about Spidey's adventures.
Slott's far future tale sees an elderly Mary Jane talking to Peter over the bluetooth. She nags him for being late to his birthday tea, something she arranges for him every year. She takes note of the fact Peter is breathing heavy, Peter dismisses it and banters more with her, then he hears a cry for help
Another story sees Peter talk about the people in his life and things he messed up with, how best friends turn out not to be so, and how ill his Aunt always gets. Looks to be by Hickman.
Black Cat and Mary Jane
five issue mini series announced for December by Jed Mc Kay and newcomer Vicenzo Carratù
Remembering Venomverse and man is it so disappointing that event was about dumb composite characters instead of actual previously established alternate versions of Venom.
Like you could have had OG Venom 2099, Pork Grind from Spider-Ham's setting, Earth-X Venom, Mangaverse Venom, Poison from the What-If Other one-shot, & Dusk and Mayhem/April Parker from the Spider-Girl universe.
Instead we just got shit like Rocket Racoon Venom and Gwenpool Venom.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
The best part about Venom-verse was that it pretty much got rid of Ultimate Jimmy Hudson.
Was it Venom-verse that had the anti-symbiote things? The Poison, or whatever? Or was that a different event? Because I remember one of those Venom events having Ultimate Jimmy Hudson get turned into a Poison, and he hasn't shown up since then.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Okay I think I know what your talking about
To my knowledge Venomverse was a trilogy, the second part was a crossover between Venom and X-Men Blue for some reason Poison X, and the third final part was an event title called Venomized
So Hudson got possessed by a Poison in either of the 2 latter stories, and Venomized ends with him and a Poison Carnage as the last survivors of the Poison species
Going by what your stating Hudson appears to have not made any major appearances since then
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Double-checked. I was wrong. He did come back after being Poison-ized, but he's been absent for 4 years now. And nobody misses him.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Has the Witch-Queen
◊ been in any stories before? She looks very classic-and-forgotten, like Madame Macabre
.

Am I the only one that thinks Dan Slott has been the main writer for spider-man for too long? I think it's probably already time they pick a succesor.
