This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

I thought she was raised by the Parker LM Ds.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters. As I’ve said before, I wouldn’t mind if it turned out she wasn’t Peter’s sister. Because the writers never wrote her as one! She didn’t interact with Peter socially, she just showed up when she wanted to emotionally blackmail him into using his spider powers for her benefit. To care about Teresa, she would have to be a character in Peter’s life, not just a Mission Control that occasionally showed up
Forever liveblogging the AvengersEmotional blackmail is what sisters do.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"![]()
sounds like a normal sibling relationship when both characters are in their cough cough
So she basically exists to be another character who causes endless drama (with the exception of Mary Jane)? Hmmm. Sounds like she'd be perfect for his supporting cast!
Also, I'm going to miss that opportunity to see someone write Peter and Theresa having a friendly sibling argument about which of them has the cooler job: Super Hero or Spy.
But oh well. Them's the breaks.
One Strip! One Strip!I don't think it matters whether she is or isn't Peter's sister. I think the most important thing is for them to concretely make a decision, once and for all. And then bring her back later and tease the idea again, before ultimately flipping that decision to the other one. And so on and so forth every time she appears.
That's not what Dan Slott wrote on the text, like Doc Ock narrates that the memories that was left in Peter's mind created a memory version of him in Peter's body that is trying to regain control.
Granted, Dan Slott really doesn't understand science as per his own admission. The mind of Doc Ock actually does interact with Peter in issue 9 so they are separate people.
Hell, in Clone Conspiracy, Doc Ock once again kills the Peter in his original body when taking it over.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"You don’t have to understand science to write comic books because comic book science usually has nothing to do with real science
Forever liveblogging the AvengersSee, it matters when you're trying to explain certain comic book science, the way Dan Slott wrote things, Doc Ock and Spider-Man did swap minds, Peter died, but was cloned/revived through the memories that was still left in his body.
I don't have a pic of it, but that's what Dan Slott wrote through Doc Ock.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Black Cat was the biggest seller of this month. Good for felicia.
