This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

I'm more surprised that Bailey showed up in the Bad Future of Venom #36. Aside from Slott and the Spider-Man Unlimited (2023) series, I think only Spider-Woman's author has bothered to use Bailey beyond brief cameos.

I'm curious about what Ewing will do with a Venom series where he's the sole writer, as opposed to one with a grand collaborative arc that's reworked due to co-writers changing. The Michael Moorcock references in the interview suddenly make a lot ot sense.
I'm also optimistic that regardless of who's really wearing the symbiote in the new series, we'll get plenty of Ewing's take on all four characters. And that's interesting.
For ultimate spiderman.
So is Felicia a teenage here? It says her mother died years ago and the portrait showing her as a teenager with her mum is you know takem before she died...

"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."I’m assuming that’s a younger picture.
Regarding the new Ultimate Black Cat, while I don’t care that she’s Black, as long as she eventually upgrades her costume to include the white, and maybe white hair down the line, I just don’t understand how she’s black? Isn’t the new Ultimate universe supposed to be the regular 616 universe with its history changed by the Maker? Did Walter Hardy just marry another woman in this universe and have a new child? Because isn’t Felicia supposed to be the same age as Peter? Unless the Maker significantly alter Walter’s life he should have the same version of Felicia as the 616 version.
Honestly the Maker should have just killed all the heroes parents before having kids.
It's gonna be fun on the bun!I'm not too familiar with Gotham City Sirens, but the closest thing Spider-Man has to Poison Ivy, tree huger Poison Ivy and not the original evil Betty Paige, is Humbug, the animal lover. Humbug is also a dude though.
If you want an Anti-Hero-Anti-Villain team of female spider antagonists, you'd go with some combination of Screwball, Black cat, Coldheart and Nocturne. Joystick and Paperdoll I feel could be believably redeemed/reformed as well. If you agree, add them to your pick of...three?
Shriek is a villain through and through, as far as I'm concerned. She scared the Riot(?) symbiote. One of the brain eating body horrors was scared of her anyway. I could see Commanda, Delilah, Spider-Queen, some combination of them being Shriek's gal pals in evil mayhem. Again, Joystick and Paperdoll work here too as the less extreme but still kind of crazy/evil partner. Stunner and Itsy Bitsy might be options too.
Spider-Man isn't really in need of a evil female team though. Man-Killer's group, whatever their name was, already filled that niche. Lady Beetle's Sinister Syndicate as well. An anti hero/anti villain group might be interesting. More interesting with new characters, but those would be the six to pick from if you went that route.

I refuse to believe I'm the only person who read that as "So if Shrek is sort of the Spiderverse's Harley Quinn"
That would make for a very different story.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics. She freaked out the Scorn symbiote.
Funny thing too was that the symbiote was happy to harass and abuse its first host, but a few minutes bonded to Shriek scared it so much it begged to return to Tanis and promised to be good.
#IceBearForPresidentOne thing I just realized about the new Ultimate Spider-Man is that since he’s not as science oriented, if his suit becomes Venom, how is he going to get new Web-shooters or Web Fluid?
It's gonna be fun on the bun! Conclusion of Spider-Man: Venom War could be interesting Peter has to choose between MJ and the Symbiote as their lives hang in the balance, cover indicates MJ could be losing her Jackpot powers
Silver Sable would, but she has her own team. An all female Wild Pack seems like a lamer version of the Wild Pack, not to mention changing the team to mirror a Batman one.
Shrek and Spider-Man do go well together though, as Spider-Man is partially based on The Blue Demon, while Shrek is based on The French Angel.

Shrek and Spider-Man would be a nice team, actually!
"Hey, you're the second most bitter green big guy I've teamed up with!"
"Enough with that, bug."
"Spider, how many times do I have to tell you? Like in Itsy Bitsy Spider, you would know about that, wouldn't you? That being a—"
"A nursery rhyme, I know! Now drop it or I stuff you into that shoe with all those children and the old woman!"
"Geez, and I always thought those were stories for kids. Who'd have thought they'd turn people this violent out?"
"I had it easy with the Donkey!"

Please remember that, ultimately, fictional works of entertainment are just that.Amazing Spider-Man#56/#950 preview
Looks like this issue is going to tie up some looser ends from Wells' run in addition to kicking off the final Tombstone arc, such as Ned Leeds, and, fingers crossed, hopefully Paul as well
Still, Peter seems awfully chummy with Paul now, MJ's still inviting Pete over for dinner despite everything they've been through, and Peter enjoys Paul's cooking

My guess is Robbie cause I don't think he's ever been a villain and it's only a matter of time before supporting cast members get powers.
The Protomen enhanced my life.
