This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

I think part of why Paul endures as a meme is because of how absurd his whole story is and how it doesn't fit into Spider-Man's corner even keeping account for all the comic book bullshit.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Spider-Boy spoilers
We get our Spider-Man TAS cameo...for about a couple of pages, and it's set just before the events of the series finale Spider-Wars, seems Slott may have now retconned it so it now occurs long after his own Spider-Verse events
Other cameos include 60s animated series Peter (who gets to mind-link with Bailey when he arrives in his world and fights Green Goblin, protecting Jameson and Betty), Mayday and her family from Mc 2. Benjy is older now, retaining his spurt from the Infinity comic. Mayday is back to her shorter hair, Peter's leg has regrown and he's suited up, so yeah, he's officially active as Spider-Man again alongside his daughter and why can't we have any of this you goddamn idiots?

The Spectacular Spider-Men #6 - It's basically a big fight between Peter/Miles versus Hammerhead and his robo-mooks. There's some colorful action, some good quips (loved Peter invoking Madame Masque to Hammerhead and his reaction), but I'm ready for this arc to end. I liked the contrast with the conversation between "Raymond"/Miles Warren and the AI, which ends with the latter becoming a new villain, K.N.A.I.V.E.
Spider-Man: Black Suit and Blood #1 - Pretty solid collection. I think I like the first two stories the most, even if the first one is old hat for J.M. De Matteis and the second's continuity is flimsy. I completely forgot Dustin Nguyen was slated for a story as well.
Spider-Boy #10 - I guess I should expect for the Spider-Man: TAS section to be as long as it was. I almost missed the conclusion to the story too! I think I liked the Earth-67 part best anyway.

Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).This week's Avengers Academy is largely a Red Goblin story, complete with Norman, Liz and a new, younger Sinister Six.
(Including Squid Kid, Mysteriant, the goblin-glider riding Willow-Wisp and the pink-suited Rhinoceress)
Liz gets a big moment manifesting the Misery symbiote, complete with "You've brought upon yourself... ...Misery" speech. Rhinoceress simply replies with a matter-of-fact "Nope." and tackles her out a very high window. Exit Liz. A later panel establishes that "She kinda... splattered. Looked like she was getting better, though?" (Squid Kid's response to that is simply "Symbiote nonsense. Fine."
Spider-Society#1
A mystery spy betrays the Spiderverse and allows Gwen Goblin's Sinister Squadron to infiltrate the Soceity's headquarters. Most of them are beaten and captured, including Miles and Ghost Spider. Julia's ability to see the future is somehow taken from her by Gwen. Night-Spider, Julia, Spider-Punk, Anya, Web-Weaver, Spider-Woman (ATSV version), Weapon VIII, Kraven the Hunter Spider and Spider-Cat (the one that's an actual cat) all assemble to rescue Miguel, but when they find him, he tells them Hunter Spider was the spy, Kraven completes the heel turn and attacks the team

Do we know what the deal is with this Gwen Goblin? I just now remembered she was in an Amazing issue fighting Miguel.

Yeah but this is just absurdly creatively bankrupt, and not letting Gwen establish her own mythology and things that set her apart from Peter and Miles.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"I remember a couple pages ago someone posted a thing where Marvel said they were reluctant to give Gwen her own cast cause it meant Sony could potentially use them in movies.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Easy recipe for new characters: established character plus spider, symbiote or goblin, equals new character. You probably can do it by an AI program by now.
Like Rocket Raccoon Goblin or Symbiote Forbush Man or Spider Reed Richards.

Please remember that, ultimately, fictional works of entertainment are just that.
