This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Yeah, Mysterio hypnotizing Norman into thinking Gwen Stacy fucked him is boring and is just there to undo Spider-Man being cucked. Which the next run rendered moot.
Doubly so now that Paul is hanging out with Black Cat and MJ.
But Mysterio and Norman fucking because Norman thought he was Gwen? That's hilarious, and Mysterio is nothing if not a method actor.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"A.I. Harry is into some weird shit. Do you think he watched Mysterio and Norman fuck?
Oh god, now I’m picturing it. Someone stop me.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Years later, Norman figures it out and goes to Gwen's grave to say "I wondered why you had a penis
".
Alternatively, if we really wanted to take this gag to it's logical extreme, one could propose that Mysterio had a very... special connection to the Stacy Twins...
Norman is just trans positive.
A rare good quality from the guy.
Of course, he was baffled when “Gwen” got “pregnant”
In a way, it was a relief to him to learn the whole scheme because he finally could make sense of that
Forever liveblogging the AvengersYeah, and this whole train of dialogue of Mysterio and Norman started because I was wondering if JM knew about the retcon to Sins Past or he didn't, and that's why he put in that scene of Norman and Gwen.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"I like that Sins Past is retconned and I like the idea of Mysterio fucking Norman for verisimilitude. Don't love the latter half of Spencer's run as a whole and the retcon of the retcon just makes things a bigger fucking mess. I guess it sort of cancels out so we don't have to really talk about any of it anymore, except Mysterio fucking Norman.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersMy unironic guess of what happened was that Mysterio just hypnotized Norman into beating his Goblin thinking it was Gwen, but Mysterio fucking Norman as a method actor is pretty funny, NGL.
That said, I suspect Sins Past was undone was to better get people to accept sins removed Norman.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"I love a lot of comic book ridiculousness but I will not open my heart to a shotgun that shoots peoples sins out
Forever liveblogging the AvengersSo, we're talking a lot about Harry (both the original and AI version), but now I'm wondering what's going on with Liz?
Like, she's still around, and she more than likely hates Spider-Man quite a bit for all the pain he's brought to her life.
I believe when she found out Peter was Spider-Man, she hated him for that exact reason, and I think she is an enemy in the Renew Your Vows timeline as well, isn't she?
So it's got me thinking where she is in all of this?
One Strip! One Strip! In limbo until the writers decide to bring her back.
Like, let's be real, A.I. Harry is only around to patch up things the writers want patched up, like Peter's parents being alive again, or Gwen Stacy fucking Norman Osborn.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"

If we have to deal with all these retcons, might as well have some fun with it
