This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Has there being a video about every person that has carry the venom symbiote? I feel it would be fun
So I've been jogging my memory of the second Sony Spider-Man film and it made me think of the Video Game Adaptation of the same film.
I think that was the first time they did a Wide-Open Sandbox game for Spider-Man, isn't it? I also own the first one, so I know they didn't do it there, but it pretty much became a thing for Spider-Man Video Game adaptations after that.
I just think that's cool, and the best kind of gameplay for the Webslinger.
One Strip! One Strip!About the Black Widoe/Venom announcement and her being a supporting character to Venom, I always felt Nat's inclusion in Venom is cause Gronbekk just really wanted to write Nat and not being able to get a full Widow ongoing, instead brought her in on a book she's writing.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Hallow's Eve threatens an aid to Mayor Cage, then Ben arrives and tells her he's gonna be fixed...the mystery character apparently 'shocks' Janine
Random showerthought I had last night; has anybody ever tried explaining what the web fluid is actually made of? I can only ever think of it being just some mystery concoction that's made from unspecified stuff a financially struggling teenager could get his hands on. Even in Homecoming where we see him trying to mix it in science class there's no indication of what it actually is.
Heck, I just remembered that in the Amazing movies it's some Oscorp experiment he just bought.

Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonIt's a type of glue. This we know because he tried to sell it to a glue company once.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI might have gotten into this series because of the Raimi movies, but I still think organic web shooters is better than web shooters.
Web shooters take away the idea that anyone can be Spider-Man if bitten by that same spider. Only a science major could make something like that. I'm not good at science or anything really, so even if I got bitten, I can't web swing.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"IIRC it's a mix of some kinda glue and some kinda quick-drying cement. They made a few attempts to explain it scientifically but I doubt those were very accurate.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I wonder if any real-world scientists have tried defictionalizing it?
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonAlso is there a lore reason why Spider-Man is still able to afford living in New York? Is he still getting paid by Norman?
Like, you ever wonder if the writers toy with the idea of moving Spidey in a different setting for a while as another gimmick?
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"I think his roommates were paying most of the rent but now one is dead and the other got married or something?
Forever liveblogging the AvengersHere's a page
on how the webshooters work and a thesis
about it.
It kinda works like a hose.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Personally, I like the webshooters. It plays into Peter’s scientific know how that he made artificial webbing and a way to thwip it long distances to complement his spider powers
And with other spider people getting extra special powers, being the smart guy is how Peter shines.
