This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Speaking of Emily, is there still nothing from her after Dan Slott retconned that she was secretly alive all this time?
I guess we should all just pretend she was a clone made by A.I Harry like the twins.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"I think something similar to Power Girl is a good idea.
Where she is the boss a small science company devoted to advances for humanity but they aren't exactly profitable so money is always an issue leading Karen to have to sleep in her office at points when she doesn't have a home.
A small mom and pop company would be a good route for Peter. Only makes as much money as he needs.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Honestly I feel like the two best options for Peter's career are either him being a teacher like he became awhile before OMD or what Ultimate Spider-Man did where he ultimately settles down into an easy at-home job as the Daily Bugle's webmaster, giving him easy pay while also leaving him free to do Spider-Man stuff.
I agree. I suggested he could be an online teacher as well. That way, he doesn't even have to worry about attending classes, since he sets the schedule. Hell, he could teach while punching things as Spidey if he has too.
I also like the starting a small company idea as well. Something where he sets his own hours is his best bet.
One Strip! One Strip!I kind of prefer to go with the small mom and pop tech shop idea, if only for Peter to finally be allowed to up his game and get some fun and cool tech toys. It still annoys me that as soon as Peter turns evil he is suddenly given all these cool tech toys and gadgets to play around with. Why can't he have cool tech and gadgets to play around with when he is good.
And which still pays him enough for him to afford to live in New York City. Peter living anywhere else would feel wrong, but at the same time, it's stretching the limits of plausibility that he's been able to keep up with the cost of living there with as much money trouble as he has.
The Daredevil show had the clever out that the Battle of New York messed up Hell's Kitchen to the craphole it used to be when the character started out.

And yet, they don't seem to charge anywhere near enough for their services to possibly break even on the costs of their operations, much less make a profit. Either that, or Earth-616's cities have way more money to throw around than Earth-1218's.

Hollywood/the entertainment industry in general was really obsessed with the Chinese market around that time and for quite some time after. Arguably still so, though it's been starting to wane, if only because appeasing the Chinese government's demands is beginning to be more trouble than it's worth by many accounts.
