This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Misery, actually. And apparently it's not a single symbiote but 2 symbiotes she's wearing, both an Anti-Venom and Carnage offshoots.
Meanwhile Normie is supposed to be wearing an actual "Anti-Carnage" symbiote...except they dropped the "Anti" part alongside the white coloring, so now his Rascal symbiote is apparently just either Carnage's latest offspring or clone. It's not clear which.
Which is a lot to take in. Symbiote stuff outside of King in Black story has gotten inconsistent.
#IceBearForPresidentMade a trope page for the fan film The Green Goblin's Last Stand!
EDIT: No to the above question, but I like that idea!

The Protomen enhanced my life.I'll be honest, while I usually don't have a ton of complaint about Uniqueness Decay and think most complaints about it are dumb, with the symbiotes, it really does feel like the concept is getting run into the ground a bit. Of the ones we have running around now, the only ones I'd consider worthy of keeping around are Venom himself, Dylan, Mania, Sleeper, and Flexo. Maybe Carnage if somebody does something actually interesting with him. Everybody else kinda feels unnecessary at best.
I have never heard of Sleeper but also like them because they are a cat.
Given how symbiotes tend to be violent by nature be I can see Sleeper as the Marvel counterpart to DC's Dex-Starr, who's a Red Lantern and always angry.

The Protomen enhanced my life. It's a problem with spin-offing characters to such a massive degree. It's what happened to Hulk in the 2000s with all the rainbow Hulks.
Or in a hypothetical look at the Captain America Railway, imagine giving all the Caps introduced in that series their own book.
That would very much water down the concept.

The Hulk example is notable I feel because the comics that followed showed the problem wasn't with the inherent idea of there being a bunch of gamma mutates, but with all of them just repetitive and not having enough to distinguish them. Like how Betty being a mutate became a thousand times better when Ewing brought back the Harpy idea and look instead of her just being "She-Hulk but red".
That's also what I tried to highlight with my suggestion of which symbiotes should be kept around. The ones I listed off are all fairly unique and don't feel like cheap rehashes of Venom with declining results for each one.

Tellingly with Sleeper he at least has a unique face design with the 4 red eyes compared to the general Spidey-eyes/toothy maw that Venom and Carnage standardized.
The symbiotes have an issue like the Hulk copies since due to their simple designs they tend to just be bland palette swaps of Venom/Hulk.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Except most Gamma Mutates don't look like Hulk.
Red Harpy also looks better than Betty's original Harpy form too.

We've actually known he was coming back in some form in the Ewing run for a decently long while; way back near the start, we were shown a glimpse of what the Ewing Venom run was seemingly building towards - Eddie and the other Kings in Black being confronted by a team of symbiote-themed heroes and villains led by Dylan as Codex - and Lee was amongst them.
