This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Personally, I've had enough Spider-Verse. And we do have some alternate Peter Parkers who aren't very pleasant.
But not sure the evil mirror universe works so well for this role. Exiles has used it more widely. I think.
That said, if anyone wants to write an arc with an alternate White Rabbit who's Joker-level The Dreaded, or a scarily competent Big Wheel who's his world's equivalent of Doom, I'd read it.
I feel the same way about the original Hobgoblin story that I would about FACADE.
If they revealed it was Kingsley back then, it wouldn't have meant much, he wasn't a real character. His only story then was that he worked with MJ for a bit. This is why the story about his reveal was actually about clearing Ned Leeds' name, because he's a guy we care about.
With FACADE, unless they end up revealing it was John Jameson, which it's probably too late to do at this point, it'll end up being one of the characters we've never seen again since those issues, and it won't have the same impact.
Likely whoever FACADE was meant to be either hadn’t been revealed and built up yet or was a minor character from that era that has fallen off the map by this point
Forever liveblogging the Avengers
Yeah, that is the amusing irony of Facade being this big unsolved mystery. In the context of the actual comic he debuted in, it's really not much of a mystery at all, because there was only, like, two or three suspects and one of those suspects was a long-time supporting cast member who wouldn't make sense as the reveal at all.
So it kinda solidifies that no, MJ probably has no appearance in the actual Gang War event, Paul is her Man in the Chair, and I guess this will be how Spidey finds out about Jackpot. Also, She-Electro.
UGGGGHHHH.
Kindly excuse me while I go whack my head against a wall for the next few hours or so.
Either they'll ignore him or murder him.
I don't think anyone cares enough to try anything else.
One Strip! One Strip!Green Goblin murders Paul to mock Peter. Calling it now.
Conveniently letting MJ and Peter date again until the next time Editorial can pull the rug.
Or Norman finally reveals he's been in MJ's body and kills Paul after having sex.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Calling it now, Carlie Cooper and Paul comic.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"
"We have to go now. Our wedding planner needs us."
NOTE: Carlie and Paul died on the way to their wedding.
Not really, she's basically not even in the comics anymore at this point. She's more along the lines of collateral damage in getting rid of Paul.

"Cynic, n. — A blackguard whose faulty vision sees things as they are, not as they ought to be." - The Devil's DictionaryShe even falls for the tricks that Max eventually became too smart for, like the old activate the sprinklers and short Electro out trick.
And when Max Dillon is too smart to fall for a trick, you know you're a novice.
One Strip! One Strip!

How about introducing a Spiderman/Peter Parker that is a villain from another universe as an arch-enemy. This universe has heroes and villains that have swapped roles, just like Earth 3 from DC Comics.
