This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Early Kingpin was basically more of a mob boss Bond villain like Blofeld rather than the Magnificent Bastard crime boss that we all know and love under Frank Miller.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"I think that's part of why Kingpin doesn't appeal to me personally as much as Doc Ock or Green Goblin, since I'm just not fond of magical stuff in my Spider-Man comic. But Kingpin pretending to be friends with Spider-Man is funny AF.
I really don't like Mephisto being the power behind Norman, or the Spider-Totem shit, or the web of destiny.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"OK, some genuine leaks for ASM#31 are now online
Good news is that Felicia doesn't turn bad guy, however She does break up with Peter as she realizes they've just been going through all kinds of motions and that Peter's more a project to her than a romantic partner, so they break it off
The other back-up stories include Doc Ock trying to work out an equation and realizing he solved it but now can't remember how, and a vision of Superior appears saying he knows the answer and Ock resolves to resume his Spider-Man life, the Mary Jane one covers how MJ and Paul are dealing with the kids MJ and Paul are shown in bed together, but they're sleeping apart from one another, they look miserable, other than a bit of hand holding there's nothing really that romantic going on and MJ's thoughts in bed are all about the kids. Felicia is the one to give MJ her costume, and she's convinced to become a hero by both Felicia and thoughts about Peter
There's also a Spider-Boy back up, but it's largely to introduce one of his new villains and then there's the Reign 2 tease.

Lol whut?
Uggh, I'm so over superheroes dating morally ambiguous cat themed burglars.
From now on, Peter should look into dating Harry.

as long as Mephisto does'nt show up in the spiderman movies we're good, its a pity because Mephisto is a cool demon,it's just they keep writing him poorly!

Narrows down Peter’s options. He’s gonna have to get into computer dating
Forever liveblogging the AvengersIs spiderman reign that bad ? I thought outside the radioactive sperm its considered just average.
Like calling it the most infamous spiderman story is a stretch. When like one more day exists.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."It tries to be DKR but fails because Kraven's Last Hunt spelled out why Spider-Man doesn't work like that.
MJ's cancer being the cause of his spider jizz turned a forgettable graphic novel into a meme worthy story.
Also Reign Spider-Man died in the original Spiderverse. Killed by Morlun using MJ's tombstone as a bludgeon.
So shows how much "respect" that story had until now Marvel editorial realizes they can make a quick buck with hate views.
Personally if they were gonna bring back a Spider-Man unceremoniously Killed in Spiderverse I would have preferred assassin Spidey.

In my view, Felicia was the least aggravating thing in this run.

Even if you don't count One More Day, there's the Clone Saga and arguably Maximum Carnage. Even Superior Spider-Man would count depending on who you ask. Reign is at least an obscure non-canon story that barely gets brought up by fans.

Yeah, but Marvel would rather desperately pretend that One More Day wasn't universally hated with fans unanimously wanting it undone.
