This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

A nice contrast to Gwenverse which killed off the temporal duplicates at the end.
And the writer for the new book is Melissa Flores.
I don't think she has defeated them, i think the newer writers have just ignored that plot thread.

Sadly, its Depending on the Writer.
There's a weird moment in Spider-Man and the X-men where Rachel Summers assumes Peter Parker is a sociopathic industrialist of the kind that started the Days of future past. Storm and other X-men also are needlessly hostile to him. Apparently, no one ever ever remembering all the team ups Spider-Man has done with anyone but Wolverine.

Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters. And I prefer the Ned Leeds Hobgoblin but I've always liked Richard Fisk as the Rose and the two of them being close friends.
Kingsley I just wish would disappear.
I also am weirded out they keep acting like Norman IS redeemed. No, he's just Brainwashed and Crazy.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.I do wonder if anybody In-Universe thought "wait, Tony Stark used to say Iron Man was his bodyguard before he revealed it was actually him all along. Maybe the same is true with Spider-Man and this Parker guy!!!"
Man, what are conspiracy theories even like in a superhero universe where it's actually more likely than not that you're actually correct about whatever weird and crazy thing is happening behind the scenes?
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonSquirrel Girl introduced the concept of Super Truthers who believe that the government faked Thor, aliens, and mutants to keep its power.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters. One thing I want to mention about the Gang War event: She-Hulk. She-Hulk is involved. I'm gonna be honest, She-Hulk getting involved in a gang war feels almost like overkill. Like, what can anyone involved do to her? It's not like shooting her will do anything other than annoy her. She's tougher even than Luke Cage.
I just feel like any time a Hulk shows up, anyone with even the tiniest bit of sense is just going to surrender. Like, she could just go up to each of the crime bosses and say, "hey, knock that shit off," and they'll just be like, "yes ma'am."
And there's a cover of the heroes armed with weapons, and she's got some wire wrapped around her arms and fists, and wow, is that ever superfluous. She's a Hulk. Her fists are already harder than steel.
The idea of She-Hulk getting involved in a gang war is just amusing to me.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics. They broke up when he couldn't accept the She-Hulk part of her.
Mind you, the constant crap talking about the Jenn Walters part reads differently now that people imagine her as Tatiana Maslany.
Mind you, it was probably never healthy.

It's like I'm in some kind of... TV Tropes...

She-Hulk's live action actress.
A lot of SHE-HULK prior to her show is based around how much Jenn hates being her human self and how she's perfectly happy living full-time as an Amazonian Beauty. Which is a contrast to the show where she's more mixed in her feelings.
The show version, of course, is gorgeous and likable and strong in her own way so, Adaptational Badass?

According to fans of Orphan Black, Tatiana Maslany might be in the room with you right now.

X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.She-Hulk's very first comic run did initially portray her as resenting the difficulties She-Hulk introduced to her life. Because, yes, initially, She-Hulk was portrayed as a Hulk like separate personality. But less antisocial than Hulk. Later in the book, when Jen's life fell apart due to various things, she escaped from Jen by going She-Hulk full time.
Even though she resolved some of her life problems by the end of the run, when she joined the Avengers book, she's still being She-Hulk full time and hates turning into Jen. She had also completely ditched her life in California and barely ever brought it up again. Except to complain that New York was boring compared to LA.
As an origin, it does make sense to start off with Jen not being thrilled about her big green problem and have her grow to appreciate the advantages it offers.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersThe problem with the show is that it focused too much on Jen's grumblings about being She-Hulk at the expense of the fun law stuff, only to end on a unresolved note on whether she actually accepted her transformation or not.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."

Is it Emily Kim writing again? She's started pulling back old plot threads and characters for Silk, so I'm optimistic that she'll get to the Storms eventually if she stays with Spider-Gwen.
A series in her own world without multiversal villainy or clones would be good.
That said, I did like how the last mini worked out. It didn't feel the need to kill the Vulture, Kraven, Sandman or Rhino Gwens - they're all off elsewhere in the world, freed from their brainwashing and living their best lives away from Gwen. And Gwen Ock, who made a Heroic Sacrifice, gets remembered with a proper funeral, not just dismissed as a clone.
