This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Spider-Boy.
Spider-Boy.
Is he just a marketing ploy?
Time will tell, so lets see,
If we ever, like Bailey!
So lets! Watch for the Spider-Boy!
One Strip! One Strip!Only if we jinx it.
So I'm going to pretend you never wrote that post, and hope my sheer apathy shapes the universe in the direction I want.
No offence.
One Strip! One Strip!I repeat, Spider Boy is fine as long as he doesn’t overstay his welcome like the Sentry
Which he probably won’t. The Sentry’s problem is that he got flanderized into either “oh shit someone worfed the Sentry, we’re fucked” or “oh shit, the Sentry is evil again again, we’re fucked!”
The spider side of things is downright glutted with spiders right now. If he lasts beyond whatever story Slott is telling with him, I don’t know that he’ll catch on with other writers when Miles is already around as a younger spider character

Forever liveblogging the Avengers
The Sentry's big problem was the "so powerful! So cool!" factor combined with the lack of a Superman-shaped gap in the MU. And the fact that he really is his own worst enemy.
Bailey doesn't have that. And yes, we are oversaturated with Spiders in 616 and beyond, but the kid hero who no longer has a life or a place in the world isn't a bad plot hook. If only he wasn't a Spider...

...fair. Let's pretend that post was thumped before the universe realised it existed.

Indeed no
I’m not very interested but theres nothing objectionable as far as I can tell
Forever liveblogging the AvengersTIL that Spider-Man had two
separate
rock opera record albums in the 70's, Rock Reflections of a Superhero and Spider-Man: From Beyond the Grave.
Between those and Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark he's had quite a few musical productions!

The Protomen enhanced my life.Honestly my main problem with Silk is that during Spiderverse fan favorite Spider-Men like Assasin Spider-Man straight up died because of her incompetence.
Other than that didn't mind her and found the "pheromone" stuff more funny at how blatantly horny Slott was being.

Speaking of Assassin Spidey, I legit missed the fact that he died and forgot about him the entire story.
Granted, I really don't like the comics Spider-verse. It has a lot of that Dan Slott fingerprints and lame Morluns.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Dan Slott even made it a point to say Spidey Unlimited is ALSO the 90s Spider-Man even though both shows are unrelated.
Like that in addition to killing Hostess Spidey and Amazing Friends Spidey is pretty mean-spirited. Slott didn't even bother doing research and assumed the latter's show was one of those Never Say "Die" type of shows when it wasn't.
I hated Spider-Verse because of how lame and stupidly OP the Morluns are. I'm here to see the Spider-People not see Dan Slott's pet characters hog all the glory and the Morluns kill Spider-People we actually like.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Funniest thing about Spiderverse Capcom ignored Mv C Spidey dying for Infinite.
Alive and well with no mention of that one time this "secret boss character came in and one shotted him"
Ryu: Didn't you die to that vampire.
Spider-Man: Yeah but got better.

As I already stated Jason Aaron's Punisher reads more of a hit piece against the character not to tell a good story but because the Punisher became the alt-rights hero.
So Frank's character needs to be completely ran through the mud before being erased for the foreseeable future.
