This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Whoever wrote that must really want to cook, but they can't go too deep lest they invoke the wrath of Big Lowe (you know, like Big Brother and Nick Lowe?).
But seriously, I can't imagine that having their work be singled out as everything that's wrong about the Spider-Books via everyone's buzzing about how awesome ATSV turned out is going to be good for Nick Lowe, Zeb Wells, and C.B. Cebulski.
Worse, you even have people calling them out for not having books on Spider-Punk, Spider-Man India, Spider-Man 2099, or heck, even an ongoing Spider-Men book where it's just Peter and Miles teaming up and doing stuff, because we've seen that pair work both in father/son and big bro/little bro versions.
So it's practically leaving money on the table like a bunch of boneheads. Like, even the Three Stooges would think the Spider-Office is being stupid.
I am getting a kick out of Miles and Gargan's...well, respect isn't the right word.
Like, Miles just doesn't want anyone to die. And Gargan respects this young kid putting so much effort into keeping him from dying. And they both want/are hired to stop Cletus so hey, might as well work together.

Everyone has made that call.
The good news is, you’re still right.
So…will Kamala’s friends and family hate Peter and Spider-Man for getting her killed?
That seems like the kind of thing that would happen to him.
One Strip! One Strip!Peter is still grieving Kamala, so Felicia decides to loosen him up with an exciting battle with The Shocker that she sets up...and goes as far as 'flirt' with Herman (even if it's to disable him), Peter's not having any of these games
It helps that Ultimate Shocker is more pathetic than regular Shocker.
Who I would like to remind people actually beat Spider-Man in their first encounter even if Spidey had a broken arm.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"It would be cool to see other heroes take on Shocker and him give them a lot of trouble due to how good his tech is and how skilled he's gotten from years as a super villain.
As I recall, he acquitted himself well in a fight against Luke Cage, Iron Fist and a few others in an issue of The Superior Foes of Spider-Man.
He was apparently the only one who actually put up something resembling a fight.
Though he got his butt kicked by She Hulk way back when he was a part of the Masters of Evil during the Trial of Hank Pym.
Herman's stayed in the game as long as he has because he's been more focused on cash then on big revenge power plays. He's gets in, he gets out.
....He'd make a good Thunderbolt if he could get them to pay him. Or a good partner for Taskmaster, since the former is also more about the money than anything.
One Strip! One Strip!

That "Parker Family" article from Marvel is careful with it's words regarding the precise fate of 616 Baby May, saying it's 'uncertain' what happened to her and that Peter and MJ only believe she was stillborn.
