This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

God bless whoever is still leaking the heck out of ASM #26. Their contributions are making it so we don't really need any excuses to read ASM #26 and let our wallets heal. Thank you so much, whoever you are.

Another big Content Leak on BC just now, and this time it reveals exactly how Kamala dies...she shape shifts into Mary Jane and is stabbed through the chest with a scythe by Rabin. Rabin dies, presumably because he sacrificed the wrong person, Peter thinks MJ has been killed but the real one arrives with the Fantastic Four. Kamala reverts back to herself and asks Peter if she did good. Norman apparently wasn't aware Kamala was Ms. Marvel and realizes she wasn't working for him, she was spying on him

In case anyone's curious like me, the arc after this, according to solicits, involves Dr. Octopus returning, Peter's "newest ally" helping turn the tide against the doc, and a double-sized issue where Janice Lincoln and Randy Robertson are tying the knot, and gangs try to kill Tombstone that sets up "the big Spider-Event" of Zeb Wells and John Romita Jr.'s second year on the book.

OH FFS.
I'm gonna be extra surprised if Cebulski isn't having a meltdown because ASM #26 is the one story that just refuses to stop leaking.
Seriously, whoever is leaking this, thanks for leaking these critical pages because now we won't need any reason to spend money on what we know is a disaster of an issue.
The writers ignoring established lore just so they can have the moment they want? Perish the thought.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"![]()
As I recall that shapeshifting was so they could have an important "be comfortable in your own skin" moment.
Kamala transforms herself to mimic Carol's appearance, but finds the experience comfortable and it ends with her learning to accept who she is and take on her more individual superhero get-up.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Looks like Fallen Friend will have an alternative, and more appropriate, cover

I wonder if they were going to reveal that at some point or we bullied them into making one after we whined that the initial cover didn't have any of her supporting cast.
Great news, in any case.
(But it doesn't change the fact that this will be rendered moot in a couple of months, right?)

It occurs to me that Marvel's redheads do especially badly in terms of motherhood stories...
MJ? Well, as per the leaks, the kids aren'r real.
Wanda? The kids weren't real. It's complicated.
Madelyne? Her son was kidnapped and ended up in the future being raised by the woman Madelyne was cloned from.
Siryn? Oh. Oh dear.
Black Widow? Created in a lab as part of a plan to torment his brainwashed mother.
Wolfsbane? Her son died in a hell-on-Earth armageddon arc, can't be resurrected by Krakoa.

Depends on the artist it's typically reddish brown like Elizabeth Olsen
Side note does anyone find the hate for 616 Gwen Stacy weird because she's portrayed as "saintly" but don't hold Uncle Ben never gets that same reaction.
Both are literally the Spidey's greatest failure but whenever someone brings up 616 Gwen it's met with decries of.
- She's boring
- Overrated
- Most important thing she did was die.
The saintly part really raises an eyebrow because I've lost count how many times Ben has appeared to Peter in the afterlife or his great responsibility speech was treated like the gospel.

Calling it now, Felicia and Paul hook up as a pity rebound.
