This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

There's a theory that The kids of MJ and Paul were 'made' out of MJ, a bit like Dawn was made out of Buffy in season five., It's probable that the kids will die in MJ's place, another theory is that they are made out of Peter and MJ's DNA seeing as MJ has a piece of Peter's costume with her
Between this and the nature of Bailey the Spider-Boy's origin, Marvel seem to be cribbing a lot from Joss Whedon's television portfolio.

Bleeding Cool have heard from 'intrepid' sources that ASM#26 is a massive bait and switch, they are theorizing Norman Osborn will perish
Will this happen? Slott is using him in his own book, has said he has plans for him, and Gold Goblin appears on one of the Amazing Spider-Man covers after this arc is over. Could it be someone new in the Gold Goblin suit? As for Slott, his book is set in the very recent past, considering the End of the Spider-Verse made use of Miles' previous costume throughout, which he's since long ditched for his current ongoing.
Well that was when Gargan was the Sinister Spider-Man using the Venom Symbiote as part of the Dark Avengers.
Gargan became Venom in 2005 in Marvel Knights Spider-Man.
I know this because I read those issues as a kid.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"so liz's new symbiote misery is a mix of carnage and anti-venom. and carnage meanwhile is both cletus carnage using the endo sym armor and carnage carnage who is trying to create carnage on a multiversal scale. also normie has a carnage piece but rascal was cut off from carnage and cletus by dylan. oh and deadpools dog that burst from inside him. man carnage has so many pieces he is a knull on his own. wonder how many years till we get the king in red event where carnage tries to depose eddie.

Why do I get the distinct feeling that this is just Bleeding Cool deluding themselves into thinking "MJ won't bite it" when everything is telling us "yeah, she will", kinda like how one says a roast pig is still good after getting dirty, slimy, and airborne?
Not that I expect it, but having Norman die could be a good in to bring back Green Goblin. When was the last time we saw Green Goblin, anyway? In the last arc in the original Superior Spider-Man run?
I mean, I thought they had some hunches that turned out to be legit, but you're not wrong that their angle of guerrilla entertainment news could use polishing. (Actually, getting a proofreader would already be a step up because geeeeez!)

This all sounds nonsensical
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
