This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Do you think Kurt would care enough to actually find out who he is?

Oooh! Rhino would be good. Kurt doesn't go up against guys like him without a team to back him, so he'd really have a rough time of it even with his teleportation....or he'd just trick Rhino into running off a cliff.
Mysterio is also good, since, unlike Daredevil or Spider-Man, Kurt has no way to see through the Illusions, and even his teleporting might not give him the advantage he'd like, because Quentin could change the surrounding so effectively with his illusions that Kurt would always run the risk of a blind teleport and materializing halfway into a wall he didn't know was there.
I'm really looking forward to this.
One Strip! One Strip!Seemingly out of nowhere, Patrick Gleason just tweeted some panels
from what looks like the Spider-Man: Beyond initiative, namely of Peter hospitalized and having inner thoughts about MJ and Felicia's ways of communicating with him.
...Probably not a hint of anything, right?
Hmm. If he got into a polyamory that would mean he wouldn’t necessarily be able to get married
Forever liveblogging the Avengers![]()

Plenty of poly folk do get married to one of their partners, though. Really, it's a missed opportunity for Marvel. Peter could marry MJ and have complicated relationship angst and UST with another love interest. Or two. Even more conflicting demands on his time as he tries to juggle superhero life and relationships? Another round of "when do I tell X about my secret identity?" A bit of "What if Aunt May disapproves? What if she approves? What if she wants to try open relationships herself?!". All sounds like plot fuel to me.

I was literally throwing this out not too long ago as a half serious suggestion. Peter could finally fulfill that dream of his with them both in the catsuit:

From a pure "this would be a cool fight scene" perspective, Rhino would be an interesting physical and intellectual challenge for Kurt. Dude doesn't have Peter's strength, and his relative advantage in mobility doesn't matter when his opponent can just take those hits anyways.
Now, I'm familiar with either Kurt in general or Spurrier's tenure in specific to say which villain would fit from a thematic or emotional perspective. My best proposition would be Mysterio: both Kurt and Quentin are all about superheroics as performance (Kurt through his time at the circus and his love of Errol Flynn, Mysterio as a former Hollywood stuntman and VFX artist).
