This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

That's an interesting AU idea. I'm most curious about the specifics, since there's a lot of ways Spidey could have died there but didn't.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Maybe in this verse, instead of tossing Gwen, Goblin manages to impale Spider-Man and get away, leaving the corpse with Gwen.
Because there's no way she could have caught him on that cover.

I know! I got super excited when I first saw it, cause I'd love to see a Peter/Felicia kid as an AU. Feels a bit more interesting than "what if X character got spidey-powers instead"
So, looking at that cover, it's a Spider-Gwen story, but it spins off an alternate of ASM 121. Interesting.
Given that I'd said here before that I'd be more interested in Spider-Gwen if she were a spin-off from 616, I feel vindicated.
I suspect that while he doesn't regret pairing Peter and MJ together, maybe he regrets how he went about it, since it not only lead to the Women in refrigerators trope (before Kyle Rayner's girlfriend codified it) but also kinda indicates that Gwen's only value as a character was as Peter's girlfriend.
So he wants to write a story for her that will maybe give her something more.
One Strip! One Strip!Conway did go on record to say while he thinks Gwen was a shallow character, it’s fair that people are troubled by the subsequent usage of the women in refrigerators trope that he inadvertently pioneered.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"We're getting a lot more of Gwen
this year due to it being the 50th anniversary of her fatal fall
Likewise, he previewed Marvel's plans to address "the ever-controversial death of Gwen Stacy" as the event comes up on its 50th anniversary. "I've heard all the sides of the debate about her death, about her importance to Peter versus his love of Mary Jane... but 50 years! There's so many urban legends and myths and everything about that scene, about the art, about the way it was written, about Stan was, about what Stan felt. We will be addressing some of that not only in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN later this year, but also we have something else coming out planned for the anniversary that will be looking at that scene, that death, that critical moment in Peter's life, in a special comic you'll be seeing later in the fall

Looks like we get a Spider-Man: India miniseries, starting in June.
"Pavitr Prabhakar is back, fresh from "The End of the Spider-Verse" in in his own universe's Mumbai. But things aren't exactly simple. There's a science professor promising results, activating people's "lizard brain" along with a ruthless businessman who may be more than he seems…"
Nikesh Shukla writing, art by Abhishek Malsuni.
The solicit says it takes place after End of the Spider-Verse, so despite what that solicit said for that trade of Slott's run about the spider-verse being 'no more', that likely means that all the universe-hopping is likely coming to an end and the Spider-worlds will just be cut off from each other.

Really all her staying on 616 amounted to is to just make crossovers easier
Like I remember reading the last run of Power Man and Iron Fist, during the issue where everyone was talking about Luke and Danny getting back into business', we cut to a scene of Jessica Drew who's just hanging with Gwen.
Gwen doesn't know who the 2 are so Jess explains to her why Luke and Danny getting back is a big deal.
Gwen on 616 is very dependent if you feel her having crossovers and guest-star appearances with other heroes is really worth it.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."She's handled well in Earth-65 and really didn't do anything in 616.
She hasn't defeated them, they're still at large. It's just been ignored.
That's way before the current status. That's back during Latour's run, before her identity was public in earth 65. After the Spider-Women crossover Jessica and Gwen would occasionally hang out.

Oh boy, now it's like Tales from the dark multiverse.
