This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

At the moment, Annie has been turned into one of Shathra's minions and is helping her corrupt and take over the great web, her father is MIA but presumably also turned into a wasp along with other multiverse Spiders, her mother isn't really a totem, she uses tech to share her husband's powers, so she can't be turned and is currently a prisoner with other spiders who can't be turned for one reason or another.

Seems like the logical way to tie in his story with whats going on in Venom, as while Meredith is shaping Eddie and Dylan to his own machinations, Carnage is out there becoming a contender and doing a damn good job of it
That'd actually be a pretty clever way to rope Carnage back into Venom's goings on. Extreme Carnage already saw Carnage try and create his own hivemind in retaliation to Venom's. Carnage taking his murdering cosmic, and creating his own All-Black replica, just to be another way to stick it to daddy would be a surprisingly in-character twist.
#IceBearForPresidentAhaha finally caught up to Carnage, nice.
Funny thing, since the Hel arc started around issue 5 Carnage has been drawn with an armored horn look on the covers and its only now on issue 10 that Carnage finally adopts that look in the interiors with the new sword God upgrade
Also the new necrosword Carnage made is called All-Blood
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Man, I remember when Civil War was coming out and Spidey revealing his identity in the second issue felt like a seismic shift. In my mind, things would never be the same. It felt like everything before Civil War was the secret identity era and everything from then on would be a whole new ballgame. Part of me wonders what Spider-Man comics would be like now if his identity had never been magicked back into secrecy.
The very best, like no one ever was. Check out my Spider-Man fanfic here! [1]Should also note Carnage stars the Carnage symbiote separated from Cletus, so its doing all this stuff on its own without a host while Cletus is kicking back at the orphanage he came from
Venom and Carnage recently have been able to function at full power without a host recently
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I assume it's the upgradges and improvements they've gotten over the years.
They aren't really normal symbiotes anymore. Especially in Carnage's case after all the cult stuff he's been in even before Knull came into the scene have been magically boosting him.
Though Carnage notes he still wants a host with issue 10 ending with him deciding to use poor Jon Shayde as his unwilling host

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Spider-Man#6
Looks like there's going to be a big cosmic reset. Morlun is stabbed by that weird dagger accidentally by Silk and it releases the essence of every Spider he ever 'killed' in the original Spider-Verse story, the liberated totems begin "reweaving" the web of life and destiny, or so Anya believes, but Shathra knows better and says the action has doomed them all
Spider-Gwen: Shadow Clones is off to a decent start. Issue #1:
During a battle in Gwen's world against a bunch of Earth-616 villains (is this new, or a flashback? It doesn't say...), one of the Vulture's bombs kills a civilian scientist after the battle's moved on. A few months later the first of several clones - a Gwen Octopus - attacks Gwen. The implication is that the scientist's vengeful partner has created them. One interesting thing is Reed Richards insisting that clones are real people and Gwen Ock being confused and reasonable once she shakes off the brainwashing, not just a villain.
Hmm. Let's see where it goes.

Ehhh if the movie sucks, it sucks.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"
