This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Seems like there's only one explanation for this. She's a loser
I mean your capable of all this and yet you can't get into any school or hired anywhere.
Sounds to me like a loser, a big whiney loser who prefers to blame other people for her terrible ability to spread her name around.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Well with the existence of Riri, pretty much any halfway decent super science kid can make their own Iron Man armor.
The irony in all this being that Miles isn’t even that smart. Like he’s got a good brain but not super science level I think.
Rabble is getting pissed off for something beyond Miles control.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Miles being overworked and overwhelmed at his new school in the movie was such a relatable moment.
But I wouldn't be surprised if he's a super smart science kids these days.
Peter started out as gifted but not super smart like Reed.
Now look at him.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Marvel's Spider-Man did make him a super genius
Which granted that show made everyone a super genius from Anya and Gwen as well, even making Shocker a teenage genius, and having them all go to super science science fiction schools
Really took away the working man elements of the characters
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Marvel made the Spider-Man cartoons way too merchandize heavy.
Compare to Spectacular which just has Spidey himself versus the current cartoons which feature an endless parade of guest stars, multiple spider-teams (Ultimate had 3 teams for Peter), and various gadgets and shit.
They keep forcing a 100 fucking heroes on him.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The upcoming Moon Girl cartoon ironically feels like a return to form for a Spidey cartoon
A cartoon just focused on the character and their universe, and its unclear whether Moon Girl will have guest-stars beyond mentioning the existence of the Avengers

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."@slimcoder I admittedly didn't watch Marvel's Spider-Man but the Shocker being a genius is by no means inaccurate. However, portraying him as a teenager is.
So what is it about Spider-Man teaming up with several superheroes that fans don't like? Batman: The Brave and The Bold did this same concept and was better received.
It's just not done as well I guess
Ultimate was compared to Brave and the Bold, it just didn't do it as good as the latter show
Prolly doesn't help they keep insisting on having Peter being the kid and doing stuff like going to shield academy instead of being pure adventure
Imagine Batman going to superhero school and being subservient to the government guys, it's just kinda demeaning

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I think it's because they just want to seem him established with his own stuff first.
I mean, Spider-Man: The Animated Series did guest stars, but not until later in the second season as I recall. It spent most of the other seasons having Peter...you know, actually hero on his own.
Spectacular was deliberately about his early years and he seemed to be the only hero in that universe. It's not clear if they would have had others appear later in the series or not.
Ultimate and Marvels Spider-Man, in addition to just being worse series, also got caught up in cameos and Peter working with other heroes, when he's ironically enough been more of a loner than Wolverine. Pete's worked with a lot of teams, and has been an active Avenger and member of the Fantastic Four, but he's never really, fully been part of them.
One Strip! One Strip!Spectacular was also a Sony production and couldn't legally use any other heroes.
And vice versa, fun fact; it's the reason Spidey never appeared on The Super Hero Squad Show.

Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonAlright finished Dark Web. Well that was a shit show.
I can clearly say with an honest heart, I do not give a fuck about Madelyne's problems. The fact she got easily forgiven and gets everything she wanted and more, despite supplying Ben with the demon army in the first place while Ben is the only punished is bullshit.
Ben would have never gotten as far as he did without her, and thats ignoring her turning Janine into a demon and mind-fucking Eddie into a brain dead monster.
And now she rules over a fucking Limbo embassy in the middle of New York, give me a break. Who do we call for demon slaying cause we need to seen these fuckers straight back to Hell.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Should note I read this primarily to keep up with Venom so the fact Maddie lied to Eddie about helping him find his son, and used him in such a way that left him utterly destroyed and on the path to becoming Meridus pisses me off because of how little Maddie made of it.
At most Eddie deserves to impale her with that chainsaw arm of his.
I'll say this is prolly what annoys me the most about the Krakoa Era despite finding it pretty decent for the most part, how easy the X-Men are with the Mutant villains.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."For demon busting in marvel, I think you’d look at Daimon Hellstrom
Forever liveblogging the Avengers

Her parents were first-generation immigrants from Jordan who came to NYC in search of a better life. But her mom passed away from cancer and all of her attempts to monetize her gifts apparently failed because no one was interested in her work... somehow?
She was building tech worthy of Oscorp or Stark Industries on a lower-income budget. That's a level of efficiency that both companies would love to have and it doesn't look like she tried to market herself outside of her peers?
But she hates Miles for getting into Brooklyn Visions instead of her based on a raffle. When again, there are other technical high schools. I don't even remember if Visions is by raffle only. It feels weird that she couldn't test or present her way in with her level of genius.
