This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Did Juggernaut have many appearances before this? Even then, him being largely a villain for the X-Men (who tend to be rather isolated) might be why Spider-Man was unfamiliar with him.
I mean, this had to have taken place in the 70's or 80's, so yeah. Juggie had to have appeared in a lot of X-Men comics at this time, and not every battle could have taken place offscreen.
So for Peter to have no clue who he is seems odd.
Him not fully grasping how Unstoppable Juggernaut is Not Hyperbole, I can buy, but never hearing of the Juggernaut at all? That's hard to buy.
One Strip! One Strip!Spider-Man's usually been a wing it type of guy in those days.
Like by the end of the day, he's just a average dude with powers trying to do the right thing and doesn't have the same resources as other heroes.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Meantime, in Mary Jane/Black Cat#2 there are some hints about the mystery surrounding MJ and the kids, with Felicia revealing that MJ had been missing for those six months, and MJ kind of coyly reacting with "yeah....six months..." which alludes to the possibility the passage of time for her was entirely different
Slott is hyping up the conclusion of his current Spider-Verse storyline in April too, saying it is 'huge' and changes both Spider-Man's world and the Marvel universe
Maybe it means he keeps Peter Palmer around and he becomes the star of the book? The hyphen in the title being somewhat ironic since he doesn't use it.

Doesn't this also imply Peter was also away for more than six months?
I've seen people speculate that this could be a way to have the toddlers be her biological kids even though it's only been six months.

Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.God. We JUST got rid of the last set of artificially aged Spider love interest children. I hope we don’t have to go back to that well again. Ever or at least not this soon.
Forever liveblogging the Avengers
What if these two are Gabe and what's her name, but given new bodies and a new chance at life?
One Strip! One Strip!
Then that's what will happen. Because Marvel will believe that will sell the most issues. You've doomed us all Bocaj.
One Strip! One Strip!Thinking about The Incident From Six Months Ago, I wanted to see if I had everything straight about what we do know so far.
- Six months ago, there was a crater in Pennsylvania.
- For six months, Peter (functionally or actually) disappeared from the Earth. Maybe MJ too.
- With Norman's help, Peter did something to save a loved one, later revealed to be MJ.
- The general superhero community and MJ are now angry at Peter for what he did.
- Paul???
- Maybe MJ (and also Peter?) were away for more than six months by their count.
Clearly that crater was from a meteor that split the Earth into parallel dimensions on point of impact.

The Protomen enhanced my life.Is it bad to answer a question with another question?
Random theory though. I vaguely remembered the character Judas Traveller and I saw that he is recently back in comics and his powers are all about illusions and messing with people's minds. And interestingly, his earlier appearance was connected with Ben Reilly's interactions with Peter, which are currently a big thing again.
Or I don't know. Maybe Paul is Mysterio. That kind of thing is also in his wheelhouse.
Memory serve me right, Wells said in an interview the big reveal is coming in March. Whether anyone will be happy with the reveal is another matter.
Random thought: Did they name him Paul to contrast him against Peter? As in, the two major apostolic figures of Christianity? Surely they did not.
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity....No. Do you think you're funny, Marvel?
Then again, they also decided to turn MJ into Jackpot, so maybe they do think they're funny.
Speaking of Paul, are he and MJ married or simply dating and he has kids from a previous relationship (or with MJ and there are funny time shenanigans)?

Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.

So Scans Daily has issues 229 and 230 of the first volume, where Peter ecounters The Juggernaut for the first time.
https://scans-daily.dreamwidth.org/9927457.html#cutid1
Wow. Peter truly had no idea did he? Like, he'd apparently never even heard of the Juggernaut before, which is surprising since he's a classic X-Men foe.
But wow, he really got lucky with how he managed to get the Juggernaut to fall into Cement (which isn't shown in the post regretfully).
I kinda knew he was outmatched, but I never realized how much. He was completely out of his league.
