This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Ignoring the blithering incompetence of Marvel's editorial staff, and the inability of writers to work inside their inane diktats, for a second; I like how most Spider-heroes can design themselves a phenomenal costume as soon as they get their powers. Peter's original Spider-Man suit is a classic, Mile's sleek and inverted successor suit contrasts it wonderfully, Gwen's Ghost Spider suit is neater than anything any mainline Spider-Woman has had, and even Ben's Scarlet Spider outfit was cool (although that's cheating since he has Peter's memory, so it's a second suit from his POV).
I wonder if graphic design is part of their spider-powers? Spiders are known for spinning webs, so it's not too far off (from a cultural point of view) to imagine being able to create cool looking costumes is just part of the powerset.
Classic, black costume, original armoured, Stark tech suit.
Not really, no. He's mostly stuck to the same look I'd say.
One Strip! One Strip!Any sentence about most suit variations that doesn’t name Wasp is wrong.

upcoming cover for edge of spider-verse that will probably have to be changed so the webcomic character marvel doesn't own, or asked the creator to use is changed out for someone else. Nice to see Spinnerette though
What’s funny is that in-universe Spinnerette was forced by Marvel to change her first costume for being too similar to Julia Carpenter’s
Forever liveblogging the Avengers@Slimcoder - RE the Venom story arc, I came across this spoilery article
comparing the twist with the Robert Heinelin story "All You Zombies". It's very interesting as well as creepy.
Also, who are the symbiotes on the right side of the picture. I know Sleeper. Is the one with the scimitars just Flash/Agent Venom? Who are the others?
The guy with the multiple swords is Flash/Agent Anti-Venom, normal guy with the katana is apparently a resurected Lee Price, the red and black one next to Venom is the new Toxin/Bren Waters, the small one under Toxin is Normie Osborn with a symbiote hybrid of Anti-Venom and Carnage, and the brown guy in the back is Flexo the Rubber-Man
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."So, I guess Edge of Spider-Verse #4 this month has a Disney Princess-inspired Spider, Spinstress. Being Disney-inspired, of course it opens with a musical number. Sadly, with comics being a visual medium, the effect may be lost . . .
Unless you listen to it here.
Sung by Arielle Jacobs, who plays Jasmine in Aladdin on Broadway.
So that's actually very cool.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.I love Spinstress's design and general idea, and Sun-Spider, who was a Contest Winner Cameo originally! This whole issue looks super fun!

The Protomen enhanced my life. The January solicitations leaked for several Marvel titles, and the cover for Spider-Man#4 reveals that Morlun ends up teaming with the Spiders
Interview with Slott
where he talks about returning to Spider-Man, working with Bagely, and ending the Spider-Verse. A bit of his first issue is spoiled here, including that Peter's Renew Your Vows daughter Annie is being used to track, murder or enslave countless Spider-Variants and opens Peter's dimension up for attack

I hope Spinstress lives, or even better, the ones that died before are brought back.
The Protomen enhanced my life.

Hang on, something hit me.
Exactly what's stopping MJ from just spilling the fact that Paul (probably) abuses his kids to Peter? What, would Peter confronting Paul and going to town on the latter jeopardize the former's identity as Spider-Man? I mean, it's a better explanation than "it's about responsibility." (Seriously, these guys are just pulling excuses out of their own butts at this point.)
