This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules - tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Over in Amazing Spider-Man, we see more of what Kindred is capable of, he brings back Sin Eater to deal with Peter and mentions that there is a sin Peter has long-forgotten about, one that will 'unravel' everything he knows

Symbiote Spider-Man#2 did Peter good, then did him dirty the altered reality brought back Uncle Ben, but Hobgoblin tracks Peter to forest hills, and in the ensuing battle, the house is destroyed, May is killed, and Ben blames his nephew for her death
Which Symbiote Spider-Man #2 are we talking about? I can only find the one from May 2019.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Whoops, I meant to say "Symbiote Spider-Man: Alien Reality#2"
Everyone's favorite character, Wraith, is getting a one-shot!
Posted here since now he's going to be a Venom related character.
The 2019 marketshare results reveal Black Cat was the highest selling solo Marvel book of the year, it also beat Absolute Carnage and Amazing Spider-Man didn't even crack the top ten.
While Black Cat was the top-selling solo title for Marvel in 2019, the top 100 for the year reveals the best-selling Spidey-centred title was Symbiote Spider-Man#1. That's a major win for Peter David, making a big comeback after the disaster that was Scarlet Spider.
Amazing Mary Jane #4: After Spider-Man's actor walks off set, who can they find to replace him in such short notice?
This one was just delightful. After the actor playing Spider-Man stomps off in a huff, with only one major scene left to film, guess who picks up the mask? Seeing Peter's reaction to seeing her in his costume is great, the Salvage 6 subplot is fun as well.
I also like how Leah Williams and Nick Spencer seem to be in lock step with each other. We actually get a chance to see how he's struggling to balance his life, and they even set up the Skype date they have in this weeks ASM.
Something about the way Nick Spencer writes Peter is just fascinating to me. His Peter feels more mature and introspective than he's been in years, and seems to almost have a sort of.....tiredness to him. He's much more aware of how his life as Spider-Man affects the people around him, and genuinely wants to change that, instead of constantly making excuses for always letting people he cares about down.
I mean, look at me—stuck in the same rut. Diving into danger. And chasing the bad guys. Throwing punches. It's a seemingly endless cycle.
I needed to find something that could change all that....
Because yeah, these Great powers mean great responsibility. I have to do what I can to help those who need it.
But what about the people in my life? The people who care about me? What about my responsibility to them? The ones I'm always letting down.
It’s not a full on Deconstruction like Peter B, but it finally feels like he is being written like an adult, instead of the perpetual teenager.
Honestly, the lower key, slice of life issues, like this week's, have been some of my favorite of this run.

Everything we know about Kindred so far, in a numbered list.
- Was a human (or something along those lines) that became a demon
- Made a deal with Quentin Beck, to bring him back from the dead after he committed suicide
- Working with Mysterio and even suggested the idea of making a movie to him
- Is someone Peter would recognize
- claims to know Peter “better than he knows himself”
- Keeps talking about forgotten sins, and seems to believe that the revelation will shake Peter to his core.
- seems to want to keep Peter and MJ apart, but doesn’t want to hurt her
- upset when Peter revealed his identity to Black Cat.
- Seems to have some sort of connection with Norman Obsborn, but Norman only "thinks" he knows who he is.
- Kingpin Bowed to him
What? Some new failed clone of Peter became a demon and came back for more?
Wake me up at your own risk.. It’s Aunt May!
Seriously though, I still think the current best theory points to him being related to OMD somehow. Kindred keeps talking about something terrible that Peter did and forgot about, and the first issue even has Peter note that sometimes feels like something is missing in his life, over a panel explicitly focusing on MJ’s bare hand, where a wedding ring would be.
Just to be safe though, barring any retcons, is there any other potential “forgotten sins” that Kindred could be referring to?

Do you mean sales wise?
I enjoyed his recent Spider-Man 2099 solo at anyrate.
And it's neat seeing people enjoying Spencer's work again. Guess people have gotten over Secret Empire.

"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Much like grandmas at Thanksgiving, Spencer is fine to be around as long as you keep him away from politics.
Other than the obvious, does anyone have any other ideas for what the “forgotten sin” Kindred keeps referring to could be?
. I honestly can’t tell if you are joking or not. I feel like you are, but it can be hard to tell over text.

Maybe Peter killed Uncle Ben
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI mean, he is indirectly responsible isn't he?
One Strip! One Strip!Maybe he’s directly responsible somehow
Forever liveblogging the Avengers. That doesn’t add up with the rest of the list at all though.
What does that have to do with Felicia, MJ, or Norman?

God I dunno
Kindred is my least favorite part of the run
But I do hope it’s about OMD and undoes it finally
Forever liveblogging the Avengers. Like barring any big retcons, I’m having trouble coming up with anything else it could be related too.

Kindred is:
- Crusher Hogan / Bonesaw Mc Graw;
- Jessica Caradine, the daughter of the Burglar;
- Some random thug he made fun of;
- Some one else who's pissed at him for something he may or may not be responsible for;
- Everyone on earth, just because.
Crusher Hogan would be a hell of a twist.
"IT'S ME PETER! IT WAS ALWAYS ME!"
So in Today's Ghost-spider We finally got to meet the previously mentioned Earth-65 Johnny and Sue Storm who are celebs. Weird thing is that this issue reveals they were missing and presumed dead after a trip to Latveria and it's weird because the previous times they were mentioned it didn't sound like people thought they were dead. Though admittedly there's nothing that outright contradicts it either.
