If you ask me personally, no. But i admittedly don't know if that's the general consensus.
I never understood why (out of universe) Peter and Miles can share the "Spider-Man" name, but Jessica and Gwen can not share the "Spider-Woman" one.
There isn't really a reason. She could've been Gwen Stacy: Spider-Woman. But I guess they just wanted her to have her own codename. There's been rumours of wanting to rebrand Miles as something else, too, for presumably the same reason, though that runs into the problem of him actually being well-known as Spider-Man. Recognition works against any attempt to rebrand Miles.
Personally, I'm still bitter about Laura being forced to give up the Wolverine codename to go back to X-23, after she very definitively rejected the X-23 designation.
Laura has the same issue as Miles in that she is known ti most as X-23.
Oh, Spidey-Bells! Spidey-Bells!
Over in venom the avengers invite Eddie to join them but he says he has to think about it because 1. He doesn't feel like he deserves it and 2. Carnage is now inside him along with venom. He asks cap for a jet and goes to the island Peter faked his death to get away from venom on. Carnage seperate himself and venon from Eddie and Eddie is carnage hunting by himself on the island
Over in Spider-Ham Our cliffhanger was Peter Porker finally meeting our Mary Jane!
First Look At Gwen Stacy Mini-Series
. The Spider-Ham comic looks really fun. I think Iíll have to try to pick it up if I get the chance. The art looks great and well suited to the story and world, and the writing seems pretty solid, taking just the right notes from Spider-Verse in terms of characterization and cartoonishness.

Speaking of, has 616 MJ met any of the other alternate reality Spider-Folk?
Especially since she the only Spider-Hero on her earth and Jessica's Earth-65 counterpart is a man.

Iím not sure, actually. If I had to guess though, I donít think she has, if only she only recently got back together with Pete.

Amazing Spider-Man#37 preview
Peter wants to start making changes to his future as he continues the endless cycle of web-swinging, webbing up bad guys, and combatting threats. Jaime is impressed that Peter's got the Clairvoyant's central battery problem sorted. Peter tells Jaime that while testing for results out in the field (i.e battling Doombots, which he leaves out of the conversation) he only got 90% and not a full 100. Jaime explains this is because there is always a unique reality that will stand apart from the remaining timelines. Peter recalls the second Marvel Civil War and how heroes last went to war over determining a way of seeing the future. Peter decides to ask the people he trusts with what he should do regarding the Clairvoyant and using this great power responsibly
I'm glad that Spencer is avoiding the pitfalls of Civil War II.
Especially since a lot of the premonitions in Civil War 2 ended up being self fulfilling prophecies, like the Hulk one.

x4 It keeps coming back to that, doesn't it? Nothing ever changes, and the characters are starting to notice.
Peter to MJ: I almost died tonight. and yeah, I get that a lot, but this felt— This felt different. And the truth is, if I'm being honest, nothing has felt right. Not for a long time.
Peter (Narration): Facing certain doom, an existential crisis, and serious damage to my already shaky reputation, and I feel like I tried everything to fix it. Well, I guess everything except the one thing I should have done in the first place. Talk it over with the person who matters most.
Peter (Narration): Sometimes it feels like nothing ever changes. That I'm stuck in a cycle of the same things happening to me over and over. It's like, no matter how hard I try to learn from my mistakes, how much I try to alter my destiny, or whatever—we all know how the story is gonna end.
I wanted to change how our story always ends, MJ. I even figured out how. I finally wanted to get things right. I wanted to surprise you. (Wham Shot finally showing what's in Peter's hand—an engagement ring.)
Maybe some other day.
It really makes me wonder what Spencer's master plan is, here.

All that really reminds me of this extremely meta line from the Bigger Bad of Morrison's X-Men run:
"The supermen fight and die and return in a meaningless shadow play because we make them do it."
. Iím really curious to see where Spencer is going with this.

Generally any time a comics book writer tries to poke at meta is going to fall flat on its ass because they can't DO anything about it.
Oh, superhero comics are cyclical, endless fights and deaths and resurrections and nothing really ever changes?
To his credit, Morrison did try. It ended up largely not sticking after he left, but he tried.
Iím wondering if itís leading to something related to OMD or something of that ilk.

Snapback was going to inevitably happen anyway because, yeah, the industry be like that, but Morrison sure insured it would happen as soon as possible by having Magneto get high on drugs/sentient bacteria and start doing Nazi-esque things.
The drugs/sentient bacteria did brainwash him, though.
Having finally actually read New X-Men (and not being particularly impressed) you say that like it changes any of the context of Magneto herding people into ovens.
Another thread that keeps coming up, is about Friendship, and how you donít have to deal with everything alone.
Like, talking over his problem with MJ, instead of moping about it, and attempting to cut himself off from the people he loves, shows a level of maturity that other writers rarely give him. (Peter letting Felicia learn his identity and MJ going to the Look-Ups Meeting are also great examples of this idea.)
(Iím kinda exhausted, so I apologize if I didnít really explain it very well. 😂)
