This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

I don't think so, same with that whole Hell War thing that Chris Claremont was setting up in his Nightcrawler run around the same time
I may be remembering the dumpster fire of One More Day but didn't Mary Jane actually make the deal with Mephisto?
Also, headcanon here, I think of Mephisto trying to get rid of Peter parker's marriage was an attempt to murder Spidergirl retroactively. Sadly, that makes Mephisto a much much more effective villain than any of us want him to be.

MJ made the deal, but Peter was the one who guilt-tripped her and thus backed her into a corner, plus he still had to agree to it on his end for it to go ahead. Had he just said no to his wife, Mephisto would have been done and there would have been awkwardness between the two, but according to the One-Above-All a few issues beforehand, they would have survived it and gone on to have two kids
My local comic store gave away 50 bucks to the person who could come up with the best way to get rid of Spiderman's marriage like Quesada wanted without resorting to "Satanic Bargain." There was also the rule you couldn't do time travel.
You could do time compression, though.
I think mine was, "Mary Jane has been replaced by Typhoid Mary and faked her pregnancy." They'd only been married a year.
There was also "Spiderman has been hallucinating a large portion of the past decade due to Mysterio and he's still a college student."

Found a neat article about Harry Osborn. I didn't know the last 2 pages of Spectacular #200 were silent! https://www.cbr.com/harry-osborn-marvel-most-tragic-villain-green-goblin/

Yeah, I feel like they haven't really done much with Harry since they brought him back from the dead, other than that American Son stuff. Slott had him work for Peter, but he didn't really do much. That said, I did enjoy the moment in ASM #696 or 697 where Peter needs some Goblin password or something so he calls Harry, who shaved his head and lives in Seattle. I honestly had kind of forgotten that Harry was still alive until I read that.

Huh.... wait wut?
