This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules
- tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Going back is nice; i was way more interested in her as a kid than as a teenager (though thats not to say the current issues are bad).
Is it going to be a flashback you think, or are we just going to jump around the timeline from now on? Because personally, i could totally get behind a book that switches backhand forth between arcs, or something of the like.
So in Spectacular Spider-Man#300 it's revealed Felicia once proposed to Spidey and Doom's time machine is modified so that Peter can't alter the present day no matter how much he screws up in the past
Over in Spider-Gwen Gwen beats up Captain America and Mean Murdoch, but is sent into the past of 616 (which freaks out the Watchers) and bumps into original Gwen Stacy
Wasn't the Secret Empire thing meant as a protest against Nazis taking over?
But everyone treated it as if it was showing it as a good thing?
I assumed it was a hamfisted, "Don't elect Nazis."
Also, am the only guy who hates Peter isn't a tech mogul anymore?

Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.Ah, I stand corrected.
Mind you, I always assumed Falcon Cap would be temporary because there's no reason Falcon shouldn't be his own awesome hero.
Dude needs his own series (I admit, I only bought Captain America when Falcon was Cap so I may be a hypocrite here).
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. That we'll get another round of the Adventures of Captain Toothless that'll somehow present "Norman Osborn" and "arresting Norman Osborn" as equally bad options because "arresting white collar criminals destroys the economy somehow"(an actual argument Spencer made in Captain Samerica).
He's allergic to resolving anything in a manner other than a "pretentious faux neutral fart of impotent fist-shaking", and that's the kind of writing comics desperately need less of right now.

Awesome.
I now have a reason to pick up Marvel after its Crisis on Infinite Earths and suddenly Nazis ruling America in my escapist fiction instead of just reality.

Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.Even better, the HYDRA takeover was welcomed with open arms by Marvel's idiot civilians! They were not faced with protests, lawsuits, investigations, and massive opposition including from their ostensible own side unlike some people I could name.
Secret Empire is a story about how this fantastic escapist universe is worse than real life.

It's doubly disgusting because Hydra would be explictly Nazis in the MU.
"Hey, Steve Rogers is President."
"AWESOME!"
"He's also building an army of terrorists like the kind which have murdered thousands over the years and were led by Hitler's Right and Left Hand Men."
"...shouldn't we test him for mind control?"
