Ugh. How the hell do you recruit Cressida? My Galgastani approval rating is really low.

[up]I'll be honest with you. Getting your Galgastani Chaos Frame back to acceptable levels sounds like bitter work.

There are two methods. One involves lots of fighting and the other involves cheesing certain story choices(this one seems to be the easier of the two).

The second post here gives good links and info.

If you want to check your Chaos Frame for the Galgastani, recruit a Galgastani unit from a shop(somewhere like Coritanae Keep would be a good place to find them) and check their Loyalty. The initial Loyalty of a shop recruited unit is equivalent to their Clan's Chaos Frame.

Crap, I'm in this mess cause I recruited Cistina. Who's pretty much useless. Well, I do want all four sisters...

My approval is really bad. Guess I'll have to do it the hard way.

Oh wait, it seems to have risen. Considerably. It now says "This unit often speaks on your behalf to win others on your side".

Is that enough to recruit Cressida?

should be, if the unit saying that was is a galgastan fresh from the shop.

I have no idea. I just used WORLD to start the Chaos Route, so I'm gonna have to work on that too.

I went for the Chaos route first, cause I really didn't like Leonar. And I always go for Chaos in Mega Ten. But then, no Ravness! That really sucks. sad

I went along the chaos route last time I played. I never finished it — not because it's bad, but because my PSP is old and crap and turns off at random. After I get a replacement PSP and play it again, I might tackle the lawful route. Variety, you know.

Hah, I recruited Cressida! The battle went surprisingly smoothly.

Now, to fight Sherry. She's kind of a joke, really.

Neat. How long did it take you to build enough Chaos Frame with the Galgastani?

Quite a bit. I had to take ten unequipped newbies and repeatedly kill them. Each death raised my approval rating by a tenth of a point, which means I gained a point per battle. My rate was initially really down. "This unit often speaks with distaste about your decisions" and so on. I think it took me 30+ battles. Ah, well, unique class and all that jazz.

Beat Sherri. Darn, keeping her alive was annoying. I'm grinding Hobyrim and Cressida now.

Recruited Sherri. Currently on my way to the Palace of the Dead. Got Vasque.

I have to ask, can you unequip a weapon skill after you've mastered it? Denam is a ninja and his katana skills are maxed. If I remove it from my skill list, do I lose anything?

[up]It should stay at whatever level it's on.

Having weapon and affinity skills revert after you unequip them would be pretty sadistic. tongue

But the game is rife with sadism! evil grin Oh, cool Ravness avvie.

I hope the finishing skills stay on too...

Do I have to do something with the dragons to recruit Deneb, or is selling them as soon as I get them and buying the gems enough?

(Poor dragons T___T...)

You have to sell them to her and buy their gems.

You need either 5 or 9 gems for each dragon(I believe each dragon creates 2 gems in her shop), but that's cake compared to unlocking her special class.

To do that, you need to find 30 glass pumpkins before getting all the gems(it's okay to sell all dragons first though, so long as you don't buy all the gems just yet though).

Oh...maybe it's a good idea to recruit Deneb after I've obtained World...sounds too difficult.

So, I got to Lhazan Fortress. What's the deal with that? I haven't killed any of the Vasque citizens, and now I'm in the second battle...

That subplot only really goes anywhere if you've recruited a certain Law Path character.

Which one? If it's a spoiler, I don't want to know. I'm in the Chaos path. I've recruited...Canopus, Donnalto, Arycelle, Cistina, Folcurt, Bayin, Hobyrim, Gildas, Mirdyn, Cerya, Olivya, Cressida and Sherri.

Or is it Ocionne? I've heard she's only available in the Law path...:/

It's Occionne's recruitment mission.

It's not a big spoiler, but you need Jeunan to recruit her. Oh, and one thing about Jeunan; there was an error with the writing of the dialogue choice to recruit him. Both answers seem like the same thing. Just remember to pick the second answer.

I just reached the Palace of the Dead. Currently possesing four elemental dragons.

Should I go in or clear Barnicia first?

Go in until you rescue the warlock, then hit Barinicia. (5-6 floors or so, it ain't that tough.)

I decided to clear Barnicia first. It was an alright fight, but I think I'm overleveled.

Winning the battle gives you a scene where you can recruit Catiua. I deliberately chose the wrong option and...she decides to kill herself. You know, I really don't like her. But I'm gonna recruit her anyway.

What do you hate about Catiua? I forget what she did, as it's been years since I've played this (damn broken PSP...).

Well, she's kinda selfish and constantly blames Denam for abandoning her (which he didn't). She also makes it ridiculously easy for others to manipulate her and fell right into Lanselot's trap. And she's really...obssessive over Denam.
