He's fine, but he's just kinda there. Ironically he got more interesting to me since he was a party member for the first part of FE to my very dark side, very anti-Jedi Sith Inquisitor, and he kept disapproving of all my evil actions. I felt kinda bad.
Kinda.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"For my Jedi Knight run, I was all "Okay, I'd love to work with you guys, please don't do anything crazy."
Then Heskal proceeds to do stupid shit because of destiny and that choice is an illusion. Then willingly dies despite my Knight trying to save him.
Choice is an illusion indeed, though I still don't know what happens if I spare Arcann this run.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"I mean, the bizarre thing is that the Consular (and the other Force-user classes) are giving an apprentice at all when they are so young and just out of padawanhood themselves.
Obi-Wan and Anakin were a special case and not the norm.
And conveniently, almost all the aprentices are attractive females of the same age as the player character, not early, unexperienced teenagers as padawans usually are .
(Except for Xalek, but who even remembers him?)

Every Hero has his own way of eating yogurt"(Except for Xalek, but who even remembers him?)"
I just wrote about him.
I like having a Kaleesh Darth Maul like apprentice.
Kidding aside, yeah, it's pretty transparent that the whole Master-Apprentice romance is someone's fetish at Bioware.
I like Jaesa and Kira, so I guess I fell for it, but Nadia is def a no, and I headcanon my Inquisitor as Aromantic and Asexual since only UNLIMITED POWER is his goal.
Kira and Nadia are unique cases since Kira is assigned to you because her actual teacher is missing, and it's Nadia's father's dying wish that she be trained by you.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Honestly, if you think about it, Harkun accidentally ended up becoming a great teacher to Darth Nox because he was such an asshole and kept giving his student challenges that made them great.
Peace is a lie after all, there is only passion.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Kira has every right to be annoyed since they're the same age and education level as well as both deserving to be Knights.
Jaesa is a much more appropriate reaction.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.I've "only" played two Troopers (one Commando and one Vanguard), and yeah, their story kinda coasts downhill after Chapter 1. I kinda wish we got more options with Vik to either outright shut his shit down or tell him "As long as you're not screwing the squad or the military over, I don't want to know about your side business, but if you get in trouble with the law, you're on your own." Forex's Patriotic Fervor is so over-the-top that it's hard not to get a good chuckle, and the other companions are good. (Neither of my Troopers romanced anybody cause, uh...)

Someone did tell me life was going to be this way.Reminds me how I made my agent a Commando for the funny and there was a cutscene where she straight up one hand slapped a dude with a 4 barrel minigun then somehow shot him once with a single powerful middle shot while using, I reiterate, a 4 barrel minigun

Yeah, I kinda gave up after how anti-climatic stopping Tavus felt.
You just beat him, he feels bad, I take him to Garza, Garza told me to go on shore leave, and that's it.
Shame, because I love the idea of Havoc Squad as protagonists. MAYBE chapter 2 will do it for me.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Also who here has romanced Theron?
Trooper doesn't because....you know why.
Jedi Knight has Kira.
Smuggler has Risha.
My Consular had some flirts with Tharan but nothing serious, and she follows the Jedi Code but I gotta admit, it would be pretty funny to see Satele Shan's reaction to her son dating her student.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"I don't vibe with Jorgan's interactions with my Trooper so I guess she's going single this run.
Hmmmmm....I've never romanced Lana, but I wonder if anything is different if you do it as a Republic player?
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"

Honestly outside of Tharan, Qyzen, and Nadia, none of the Consular squad really vibed with me, and Tharan kind of carries the team IMO for most of the story since I actually like his reactions, but I find his story kind of a waste since HE"S A SCIENTIST TRAVELLING WITH JEDI, instead his story arc is competing in some science competition that isn't plot relevant.
The Sith Inquisitor and Warrior team are my favorites. Khem Val is best monster, Andronikos Revel perfect pirate pal to my psycho Inquisitor, Ashara, useful idiot, Talos lovable archaeologist fascinated with the Sith who is the resident puppy of the team, and Xalek, badass looking enforcer.
Warrior is kinda hard carried by Jaesa, Vette, Quinn(yes, I like him.) Pierce is fine, but Boonmark or whatever is a bit bland.
Knight has Kira. All the others were kinda forgettable, Scourge doesn't really vibe with me for some reason, despite loving that kind of character.
Fuck Doc.
