Just getting off one Soul's Attendant means that any damage I take while I've got Darien out too will be completely mitigated. Anything else is just gravy. I might just stick with the Angelheart Vial, actually, since it lets you draw another card. I put the Vials in mostly for that and not the lifegain.

I wonder if there's any way to take advantage of the fact that Incite turns the creature it targets red for a turn...
"Hey, look, I'm going to cast this spell every single turn. Oh, how about that, your 10/10 is going to charge directly into the one creature that it can't hurt. Oh dear, it seems you're out of blockers... guess it's time for my swarm to move in..."

Oh cool. I guess I should put some of those in.
I'll take the Armorsmiths and Swordsmiths out for Firewalkers...
Maybe take out Into the Fray for the Scepters?
Ah, it won't work on Incite War, though... I should try to find more spells I can use this thing with. Just Incite alone isn't worth it, I don't think. But the Kor Firewalkers will be very useful.

One land I can see being good in a Sunburst deck is probably Ancient Ziggurat. Sure you can't use it for noncreature spells, but it can still fill in some extra colors to get those +1/+1 counters.
deviantArt | TwitterWhat about Vedalken Engineer
? Okay, it's not a land, but it's made for Sunburst.
Latest build of the Darien deck. As you'll see, I've made some fairly extensive changes.
- 4 Incite War
- 4 Incite
- 4 Darien, King of Kjeldor
- 4 Rugged Prairie
- 4 Sacred Foundry
- 4 Battlefield Forge
- 3 Plains
- 3 Mountain
- 3 Boros Swiftblade
- 3 Boros Recruit
- 3 Hearthfire Hobgoblin
- 2 Agrus Kos, Wojek Veteran
- 4 Boros Garrison
- 4 Auriok Champion
- 4 Bloodshed Fever
- 4 Kor Firewalker
- 3 Crimson Wisps
The monowhite soldiers are all gone, they're red/white now. Lots of them and cheap, to give me a good defense until I can get Darien out. Agrus Kos is there to capitalize on this, although there's only two of him since he's not as important as Darien. The Soul's Attendants are now replaced by Auriok Champions, who cost WW instead of W but have protection from red, meaning they do double duty as healers and as blockers. I've also added Crimson Wisps to help me get the most out of my Firewalkers and Champions. The Angelheart Vials are gone to make room for more creatures, as is a little bit of land, since the only expensive things I have are Darien and Agrus, and even they're not too bad.
Planescape Hijack
Glory of Warfare is a great card for this sort of deck.
Red has a lot of effects that do damage to each player—you might consider experimenting with those in conjunction with Darien. If you get something protecting your creatures (I recommend Lashknife Barrier, but there are plenty of other ways), you can use Pyrohemia to get yourself as many tokens as you have red mana. Earthquake would also be a good card if you go that route, effectively turning into a damage-dealing Martial Coup with Darien (a one-sided one if you use Concerted Effort, Samite Elder, Glory, etc.)
And if you dropped all your monowhite guys, Balefire Liege would be a huge boost. It'll pump up your weenies and make them into Lightning Helices too.

Productivity is for people without internet connections. -Count DorkuThe deck I just played against Moonie.
Clockwork Orange
- 4 Memnite
- 4 Ichor Wellspring
- 4 Esperzoa
- 3 Tezzeret the Seeker
- 2 Venser, the Sojourner
- 3 Contagion Clasp
- 3 Contagion Engine
- 2 Mirrorworks
- 3 Everflowing Chalice
- 3 Tumble Magnet
- 3 Surge Node
- 3 Sludge Strider
- 3 Darkslick Shores
- 4 Glacial Fortress
- 6 Plains
- 5 Island
- 4 Creeping Tar Pit
- 1 Swamp
The most expensive part is the Creeping Tar Pit, and I'm thinking of taking them out. Possible win cons:
- Hit them in the face with Esperzoa.
- Bounce and replay cheap artifacts like Memnite repeatedly with Mirrorworks and Sludge Strider in play.
- Use Tezzy's ultimate.
My W/R Metalcraft deck has somehow metamorphosed into a Tempered Steel deck.
Creatures
4x Memnite
4x Ornithopter
4x Glint Hawk Idol
4x Porcelain Legionnaire
4x Vault Skirge
4x Signal Pest
Spells
4x Dispatch
4x Tempered Steel
Artifacts
1x Bonehoard
1x Chimeric Mass
3x Mox Opal
Lands
18x Plains
1x Contested War Zone
The problem here is that I want to make it an R/W Tempered Steel deck, but I don't know what to remove. Either way, here's the remodeled deck, with additions in red.
Creatures
4x Memnite
4x Ornithopter
4x Glint Hawk Idol
4x Porcelain Legionnaire
4x Vault Skirge
4x Signal Pest
1x Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer
Spells
4x Dispatch
4x Tempered Steel
4x Galvanic Blast
Artifacts
1x Bonehoard
1x Chimeric Mass
Lands
4x Mountain
15x Plains
1x Contested War Zone
Bonehoard and Chimeric Mass are way too expensive for the amount of land you're running, and splashing red for Jor Kadeen and Galvanic Blast is not worth the loss of consistency, especially if you're only running 4 mountains. Just stick to mono-White.
Steel Overseer is great for this deck. If you're looking for a way to protect your creatures Apostle's Blessing is amazing. Mox Opals and Glint Hawks are amazing as well, if you can afford the Mox Opals.

OK. Here's how I dismembered the Devour for Power deck to throw support behind Damia instead. * Given that I have never played a game of Commander before, this list will most likely suck (since about half of it is DFP with the mill torn out by the roots and replaced with discard, recursion, landseek and weirdness). I beseech thee, sages of TV Tropes, help me make it not suck.
Commander
Other Creatures
- Eternal Witness
- Fleshbag Marauder
- Frost Titan
- Rampaging Baloths
- Psychosis Crawler
- Bonehoard
- Skullbriar, the Walking Grave
- Nezumi Graverobber/Nighteyes the Desecrator
- Dimir Guildmage
- Trygon Predator
- Brutalizer Exarch
- Necrotic Ooze
- The Mimeoplasm, Bitch
- Exhumer Thrull
(I know it's usually shit, but in Commander its mana cost shouldn't be too crippling, and since it can be recurred by its haunt ability...)
- Yavimaya Elder
- Solemn Simulacrum
- Brawn
- Wonder
- Ach! Hans, run!
- It's the Mortivore!
- Desecrator Hag
- Mulldrifter

- Scythe Spectre
- Wrexial
- Vorosh, the Hunter
- Butcher of Malakir
- Avatar of Woe
- Artisan of Kozilek
- Alloy Myr
- Trinket Mage
- Enemy of the Guildpact
(because it looks awesome)
Noncreature Spells
- Syphon Mind
- Unnerve
- Relic Crush
- Spell Crumple
- Argentum Armour
(it's big and splashy, thus, perfect for Commander)
- Journeyer's Kite
- Syphon Flesh
- Living Death
- Fool's Demise
- Volition Reins
(I was planning Exsanguinate in this slot, but I realised I'm not actually that big a douche and dropped it)
- Scrabbling Claws
- Elixir of Immortality
(to improve my mill resistance)
- Venser's Journal
- Rite of Replication
(BIG. SPLASHY.)
- Spin into Myth
(I'm a bad person)
- Tower of Calamities
(WALLOP)
- Inner Calm, Outer Strength

- Sol Ring
- Lightning Greaves
- Grave Pact
- Oblivion Stone
- Vow of Wildness
- Vow of Flight
- Vow of Malice
- Tribute to the Wild
- Cultivate
- Barter in Blood

just realized that this post
would probably be more suited to this thread so crosspost.
OK, here's the current version of the Virtual Karrthus deck I've just spent two hours losing to Haven with. I do plan to gather the pieces in real life eventually (read: when I rob a bank; very few of these pieces are cheap), but for now it's online only. (I actually edited a few things while I was making this list.)

Instants
Planeswalkers
Sorcery

- Evolving Wilds
- Forbidden Orchard
- 5x Forest
- Golgari Rot Farm
- Gruul Turf
- Homeward Path
(just in case I come up against, say, Memnarch - I have no intention of triggering it when I've stolen a dozen dragons with Karrthus)
- Jund Panorama
- Kazandu Refuge
- 5x Mountain
- Overgrown Tomb
- Rakdos Carnarium
- Rix Maadi, Dungeon Palace

Any suggestions?
Needs moar dragons.
With the possible exception of something completely ridiculous
, I'd make all my fatties either dragons or naturally hasty.

I guess it is.

Hm. I do have a Prism sitting around here somewhere that I can swap in. Hadn't considered Shimmering Grotto, but I might have to give it some consideration. Don't like Forbidden Orchard much, just because this deck can't really cope with giving my opponents creatures.
I'm on the fence about Phylactery Lich in this deck, but he doesn't have any other home right now...
