"Wow, this is a really nice place you've got!" cried Julie, leaning forward to watch the training women. "That's a cool army... we've got one too!"
Rebecca looked around the room, before sitting down in one of the armchairs. "It's nice to meet you, Sakura. So, this is where you're currently based out of?"
Alfred stood silent, merely watching the proceedings.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Sakura gave a nod to Julie. "Thank you."
She turned to Rebecca. "Indeed. Here, we maintain an armed service ready for employment by any faction that chooses to hire us. The ladies outside are some of our member."
"...I was informed that you've met 'The Empire'?"
Marxell was about to head out the door when the response popped up.
"..I see. Have you encountered a group calling themselves 'The Empire'? And what other, if any, have you encountered?"

A group of four attack bikes stopped on a hill with a view of Arteria Langes. One of the militiamen pushed up his red-tinged goggles as he looked over the place.
"Would you look at this..." He switched on his bike's comm. "Hey, we got something. Looks like a city or something like that. Doesn't look like it belongs to GDI though, in fact, it kinda looks like someone took one of their cities, and then one in a yellow zone, took out all the Tiberium, and smashed them together."
"Understood. Move in to investigate, in the name of Kane."
"Got it." The driver switched off the comm and slid back down his goggles, before nodding to the other drivers.
"Lets go guys!" He yelled before the four sped down the hill towards the city.
"Well, we saw their ships for a minute," said Julie. "And it was really weird 'cause I was like 'Hey, those are the ships from Star Wars'!"
She smiled.
"My little sister's right. We saw their ships, and decided not to get close," Rebecca added. "After all, I've seen the movies."
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up.""Other than these... Flying creatures, and a small, annoying, fast and nearly indestructible man, nothing." She glanced at a screen. "Hold on, something new's popped up, closing fast. Four blips, smaller than a ROOK. Vehicles, by the look of them."
The Normal Command Officer barked into his communicator. [[green:"Get two Gopperts' down there, support the MT groups. Who knows what these things might be."
"Hold your fire."
"...Fine. Hold your fire until they're confirmed hostile."
The two heavy Normals glided through the city streets, gleaming white in the bright sun. They kicked up a plume of dust as they went. Already at the city's edge were two Bishops, with a few more visible above the squat houses nearby.
"Anyways, your machines of war are quite different from what humans normally use..." Gil mused, looking at the MT's. "Did you base them on monsters?" The other elves were flitting around, inspecting the giant war machines with wide eyed fascination, having never seen anything like it before.
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected. On sight of the Bishops, the four bikes hit the brakes, kicking up clouds of dust.
"What the hell are those things? Mechs?"
"They don't look like Titans."
The goggled one flipped on the comm again. "Command, looks like there's some mechs outside of the city, but they don't look like Titans or anything GDI has."
"Understood, tread carefully my brothers, ready your missiles if they prove to be hostile "
"Got it." He once again flipped off the comm and activated the twin rocket launchers in the back, loaded with the Brotherhood's devastating Tiberium-Core Missiles.
Sakura replied, "Yes, of course. 'Lawful Evil', their type. They didn't seem to be going anywhere, did they? While as a mercenary group, we are able to defend ourselves, we don't have the resources to take down a fleet."
Marxell replied to the Operator..."Hmm. It sounds like a tricky situation. Tell you what. This connection will be open for a while, and while we can't do anything for you at the moment, we are a mercenary service able to go anywhere and do nearly anything at the drop of a hat. If you could send out a beacon so we can find you, we could work out a transaction."
Thank you, Sakura...

Alan One moved his MT carefully backwards, away from the elves. "Er, what? Monsters? No, it's just a... Just a core on legs, basic machine." They were starting to worry him.
The Normals halted as well, watching the bikes approach. "Tiny little things, ain't they?" one remarked, standing in a relaxed pose.
"Stop your vehicles and lower your weaponry," the commanding voice of the Operator stated. "Or we'll be forced to assume hostile intent."
"Ooh... can it do magic?" One of the elves said, demonstrating by launching a string of Light Arrows into a nearby rock, blowing perfectly circular holes into it.
"No... humans as a whole are pretty weak with magic. Only a select few can utilize it." Gil said to the young elf. "They make up for it by being resourceful and technologically savvy." He pointed to the mech. "Like that."
"I don't know... a species that can use magic freely is pretty weird." Another chimed in.
"Sir Jack doesn't know magic, yet he was able to take down the Silver Dragon, one of the creators of Radiata. Don't underestimate them." Gil chided the young'un, which was several hundred years old.
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Vin found herself lying against the wall of the palace. Cursing her foolishness as she got up, she rushed to Elend's chambers. If anything had happened to him because she fell asleep on her watch...
She let out a sigh of relief as she opened the door. Elend was already up and dressed, staring out the window in wonder.
"Vin," He called. "You've got to see this." He gestured out the window at an expanse of green. There were trees much taller than any she'd ever seen, hills covered in plants, flowers of every color and shape. Green plants seemed odd to her, brown was so much more natural, but this meant that Kelsier had been right. What had happened to the ash? And just where had all these plants come from?
"I'm going to go scout this out." Said Vin. "You stay here and see to the troops."
Elend sighed as she left. He missed the days when she had attended balls, even if it was all just a charade. Going over to his wardrobe he pulled out some of his more regal clothing, uncomfortable as it was he had to make an impression on the men.
Vin downed a vial of the basic metals and leaped off the tower. Dropping a horseshoe, she pushed on it hard, driving it into the ground. As it hit though, she shot up, propelled by her own push against the earth. Angling herself forward she dropped the next horseshoe and pushed. As she reached the top of her arc she pulled on the horseshoes behind her, bringing them back up to her so she could reuse them. She had worn her mistcloak even though it was day, the many different strands flapping in the wind as she went along, growing more and more concerned as she didn't recognize anything. It was as if the palace had been picked up and dropped in another world entirely.
Isn't realist just a word a cynic calls himself? The Orks lead the blood orcs through the forest, until they manage to find their way back to the base. A second ring of palisades was already being built outside the first one, although this one lacked the metal covering. judging by the Ork patrolling on top of the inner rings it seemed that they had built a system of cat-walks on them and looking closely a few on the cliff face, small bridges connecting them to the buildings inside. Two guard towers rose above the walls, and a platform anchored to the cliff wall with a battery of massive guns on top. The led Ork gave a wave to the guard tower, the Ork manning it yelling an order down to someone below them. The massive gate, decorated with a stylized image of Ghazghkull's ugly mug, slowly opened to allow the group in alongside a gaggle of Grots who were pulling a fell tree in.
Inside work was still in full swing. The pit was now fenced in and Squigs began to nestle inside with Grots throwing bits of bad meat inside. What was left of vehicles were carefully moved into a temporary shelter until a proper Mek Shop could be built. A few more enterprising Ork had begin digging into the cliff face in the hope of finding ore, but so far finding nothing but rock. Galvados was soon led to Grazghkull, 15 feet of pure muscle and battle scars, although not much of it could be seen under his massive Mega Armor, which seemed completely intact compared to the other Orks who were missing armor and rukks and buggies which had be striped to the frame. The Prophet of Gork and Mork turned to the Blood Orc leader and looked down at him. "'oo des gitz, and why dey painted red?"

Sometimes I even amaze myself. Currently: Nice and sneaky likeFrollo looks at Puppetmon. "Well hello little boy. I must say that's an... interesting costume. Is it Topsy Turvy day already?"

The operator of the MT was silent a moment. "I'll, uh-"
The female voice of the Operator spoke over the comms. "This is the lead Operator of Arteria Langes. We have, as you said, been moved from our original home. However, our entire organization came with us..." She paused, covering the mouthpiece as she turned to the Communications Officer. "Did it?"
The officer nodded, hesitantly. "Well, everyone... Everyone except the Arms Forts. We think."
"You think?"
"It's confused out there, we've got a couple of Normals a continent away who were seperated. Stigro was out at sea when this... happened, so maybe it's out at sea here."
"What about Answerer?"
"Only the League knows where that one is."
The Operator nodded and turned back to the comms. "Clarification, most of us. We've... Misplaced a few."
The MTs breathed a sigh of relief as John Freeman went flying.
On a secure channel, Alan Three muttered, "Why are they goin' on about the environment? They've got plenty to spare..."
