She curled up on her bed. "You'll stay?" she asked again. "I'll be fine tomorrow..."
He released him. "Let's get this meeting started," he snarled, stepping back. Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love!
She nodded and slept.
Belven sauntered into the meeting room, hands in his pockets. Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love!
Eyes simply looked at Jarl for a second longer, took out the contract and tossed it on the ground. He produced a small bag, and tossed it onto the ground as well.
"I see no reason to continue with this farce. You may have your gold back. Minus the Guild's handling fee, of course."
He signalled to Sakkaku to leave, indicating discreetly that there were things to discuss. Preferably as soon as possible.
Taysa slept as well, as soon as the next day came, they would have a long series of days of travel to the Iron Mountains.
Kalein sat down at one of the many chairs, and the Dread King addressed the entire assembled group of Lords.
welcome, members of the Demon Army, to our next meeting, to discuss our next plan. As I asked, Kalein has drawn The Light Prince to the Iron Mountains, where Belvin, Kalein and Vallegrave will engage the enemies.
Kalein blanched as much as a skull faced creature could. No...no this cannot be...I cannot be assigned to the same team as...as him!
Remember, tis the order of the Lord of Wastes, Tabarach, that Raize will not ever gain the Rune Enscribed Blade Zero Edge! This battle shall be his last.
Belven perked up. "Say, isn't my baby sister a member of his merry band?"
Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love!He smirked. "This will be interesting, then... I'm excited."
Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love!As soon as Sakkaku saw Eyes walk ahead of him, he followed and sheathed his dagger but kept a hand in his kunai pouch. When the teacher was out of sight, he removed his hand before saying, "That bastard. He's lucky I didn't slit his throat." He sighed, trying to calm down. "You okay?" he asked again.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!"I'm fine. I'm mildly concerned, however. A contract like this would have been rejected in any circumstance by the guild in the past, however much gold was at stake. It makes me wonder if something is afoot within the Guild.
Your mission has had some.. inklings of the same. The missions seem to be tailored to take out senior members. I know at least 2 have lost their lives in the past 2 months. I merely assumed random chance, but this seems unusually.. fortuitous for certain individuals."
Eyes kept watch for anybody watching them as he spoke. Those who inadvertently heard about Guild business tended to lose the ability to speak soon after, and he had no intention of bucking the trend.
Belven followed the coward at an uncomfortably close distance, smirking the whole time. "What's the matter, do I frighten you?" he teased.
Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love!"I think yours was just luck-of-the-draw. Although, considering that he didn't mention anything about a demonstration for his students added with the fact that pulling a stealthy assassination in a classroom is hard enough without the students does make me wonder if he had any plans on killing whomever was sent," Sakkaku said as they approached the inn. No one was outside and no lights where on inside so he assumed that it was safe.
"While it could still be a coincidence, you could be right. As much as I'd hate to think that the Guild would betray us, there aren't many possibilities left open. As you said and as I noted, your contract when against the Guild's modus operandi and mine was rather vague. I suppose we'll have to see what happens when we arrive at the next bureau."
Sakkaku stopped at the door of the inn that they were staying, "There should still be a room or two left. The others should be asleep by now so you'd have to wait till the morn to introduce yourself."
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!"You call that thing a dog?" he laughed. "You know you're afraid of me, ya wimp." He snickered.
Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love!"Suuuure you could," he replied, walking ahead.
Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love!"It was rather obvious he intended to. We will stick to the herbalist story then. The nearest bureau would be in Leonsburg. Not too far away. Did the Prince mention our next destination?"
Eyes asked thoughtfully.
He was also pondering the effects of a combination of Widow toxin (an ingredient he had so far not been able to use effectively, though he hadn't done much research with it yet) with the monster blood. Which reminded him, his supply of Widows was running low, and as they tended to live in abandoned buildings, there would be plenty about. Perhaps he would gather some tonight.
Without a word he snatched said staff and pointed it at the man. "Nice try."
Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love!"I believe I heard the Litch mention something about the Iron Mountains so I'm assuming that is our next destination. If I recall correctly, there should be one in Velnun," as they entered the inn, Sakkaku pulled his key out of the pouch he uses to store various items. "It's getting lat and we should be leaving early in the morning. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to turn in for the night."
You know, I think we should get together and actually come up with more information about the Assassin's Guild so we don't constantly pull information out of nowhere (and so future members can know more about it).

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!He waved it in front of his face. "Promise not to attack me?" he teased.
Thank you for curing me of my ridiculous obsession with love!

Taysa walked in, she was worried about Gaille now. The poor thing...she had seen more evil in her life than Taysa ever thought she would.
Kalein whimpered, "Okay...okay...I'm sorry..."
